Scorpion One Shot

Christmas had always been your favourite time of year, and as the day rolled around you were filled with joy, glad to have a festive day. You spent Christmas Day in the Scorpion garage with your girlfriend Paige, her son Ralph and the rest of the team. The lot of you shared a large roasted dinner, shared presents and had fun. As you opened presents, Paige subtly warned you that you had one extra one from her, but you would receive it later in the day. It did intrigue you, but it didn't affect your enjoyment of the day. A few hours after sundown, Paige had grabbed her handbag, kissing Ralph's head and saying goodbye.

You were confused as you weren't sure why she was leaving her son behind on Christmas Day or where she was heading off to.

"Sylvester said he'd take Ralph for the night so that we can head home a little early, so you can get your last present and we can have a little time alone, if that is okay?" She smiled softly.

Nodding your head, you kissed her cheek. Of course, you loved Ralph as though he was your own son and knew he was the most important element in Paige's life, but it would be nice to have a moment alone with Paige. On rare occasions one of the team would be able to take care of Ralph so you could go out for dinner or you'd share a bottle of wine after he went to bed, but on a holiday such as Christmas it was nice to even get a couple of hours with Paige alone.

The two of you said your goodbyes to the team and headed out to the apartment that you shared.

"I just need to go get your present," she smiled, dropping her handbag and heading off down the hall towards her bedroom.

You sat on the sofa and waited for a few minutes before you heard the bedroom door open and Paige walk down the hall to join you. You leaned over the back of the sofa to see what she was bringing you, however you almost fell over the back as you saw it.

Paige stood there, leaning against the door frame, with a coy smile on her face. A Santa's hat was on top of her head, and she wore a Santa dress that was far too revealing to be allowed outside.

"Merry Christmas."
