Izombie One Shot

Life was never going to perfect and you weren't so naïve as to believe that, however there were those perfect moments in your life that made all the hardships worth it.

Major had always been an unbelievable friend to you – no matter what he was there when you needed him, and so of course a part of you started to wonder what it would be like to be with him.

You never could have imagined that Major would actually return your feelings but when he did you were over the moon, it was one of those perfect moments.

Over the past couple of years, yours and Major's relationship had only grown, and you'd never been happier.

The two of you had lived at his house for the past year or so and Ravi had lived there too for a little, but he'd moved in with Peyton not too long ago.

Major came in through the door with a smile on his face and immediately came over to you on the sofa.

"Someone seems cheery," you commented.

He chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Well yes, I am quite cheery my love."

"Am I going to get an explanation as to why?"

He sat down next to you before producing two plane tickets as his smile grew. "We are off to Paris my love."

You gasped out of shock. "You're kidding! I thought you couldn't get any time of work."

He chuckled. "Well my boss told me today that he'd give me the time off as I'd helped him out when a couple others got sick."

"So, we are actually going away?"

"Yes, my love, a whole week to ourselves."

To say that you were excited was an understatement.

You and Major had talked about going to Paris for such a long time, and you were unsure if it would ever happen but now you knew that it was going to.

When Major came into the bedroom later that night, he found you staring at your laptop screen with a smile on your face.

"What're you doing staring at that?"

"I'm planning out what we're going to do in Paris," you answered him as he sat down next to you. "I want to do a day at Disney."

He chuckled, putting his arm around you. "I'm already way ahead of you."

Your brows furrowed in confusion until Major pulled out his phone and showed you the confirmation email for the tickets to Disneyland Paris.

"I knew you wanted to go so I booked them once my boss told me I'd have the time off."

Smiling, you kissed him gently. "You really do spoil me Mr Lilywhite."

He leant down to kiss you for a second time. "It's only what you deserve my love."

"I don't know what I did to deserve you," you mused at your boyfriend. "You surprise me with all of this, and I doubt you want to go and stand in Disney with mickey ears on your head but you're going to do it for me."

He smiled at you. "I'd go to the ends of the earths for you my love," he told you in an honest voice. "So, wearing mickey ears isn't all that bad."
