Grimm One Shot

Your brother had never been fond of you working with him in terms of the Grimm life.

Whilst you were his partner on the force, which everyone found strange and always assumed that the two of you were married, Nick was uncomfortable with the fact that he was involving you in the life of a Grimm.

There was no way that you were going to let your brother go through all of it by himself and despite you not being a Grimm yourself, you still tried your best to help him as best you could and that also meant becoming friends with his friends.

Monroe was an absolute sweetheart and you couldn't help but have the tiniest crush on him.

Nick and Juliet were going away for a week or so, which meant no work for a week as you had booked it off also, but Nick didn't want you staying at the house by yourself, so Monroe had offered for you to stay with him.

When Nick had heard of Monroe's offer he had instantly accepted because he trusted Monroe, as did you.

You and Monroe were curled up on the sofa whilst watching a movie with popcorn of course.

"I wish I could have a relationship like that," you stated as you motioned to the couple on screen.

Monroe chuckled and smiled over at you. "No one ever has a relationship like in the movies."

You rolled your eyes jokingly. "Fine then, a relationship like my brother and Juliet have."

"Considering he lies to her about the whole other side of his life?"

You sighed. "He does that to protect her – could you honestly say that you wouldn't keep the wesen side of you a secret whilst you were dating someone?"

Monroe shrugged. "I've never dated anyone long enough for that to be an issue. It's different if they know beforehand or if they're a fellow wesen."

"I guess I only found out because of Nick."

"And Nick only found out because he thought I was a suspect in a murder case."

You laughed at his words, but knew they were true as you had investigated that case also but not as hands on as Nick was.

"Would you not want to date me because of me being different?"

"You mean the fact that you're a Blutbad?"

He chuckled but nodded his head in response.

"No, the fact that you're a Blutbad makes you more interesting Monroe – it doesn't change my feelings towards you in any way, shape or form.

He smiled. "You have feelings for me?"

You gasped as you realised what you had told him. "Am I able to backpedal this in anyway? You know, say it's just feelings of friendship and not for a relationship?"

He chuckled, reaching out to hold your hand in his. "If you did that, I'd be very disappointed," he admitted.

"Why would that be?"

He rubbed his thumb on the back of your hand before looking you in the eyes. "Because my feelings of friendship for you changed to romantic ones a long time ago, and I would absolutely love for us to pursue something if you would want to as well."

You leant forward, pressing your lips to his quickly before puling away. "My feelings changed a long time ago too."
