Josh Dun x Reader

Requested again by MracoDalfoy I swear you are the biggest fucking slut I know. Don't forget to request another imagine and enjoy!

In the small garage that the band mate, lead singer, and song writer, Tyler Joseph had to offer, him and two of his other band mates were jamming out. Tyler was slamming on his keyboard, Nick was pounding on the drums, and Chris was strumming on his bass. You sat in a white outside chair reading a book while your pals played their songs. You had to agree that they were really good, and you loved listening to them.

Nick got up suddenly with a loud sigh. "Alright, alright, that's it. I can't do it." He cried out in irritation. The rest of the band stopped playing and turned to face the distressed man.

"What is it, man?" Tyler asked with small frown forming at his mouth. Nick ran his hand through his sweaty hair before speaking.

"I just... I have school, and this whole band thing is a long shot. I have a life I got to plan out, I can't do it anymore." He said strictly before packing up his things in a hurry. Looking devastated, Tyler turned to Chris, who looked surprised and grim.

"Did you know anything about this?" Tyler asked, his voice trembling slightly. The two band mates knew how sensitive the musically genius boy was, but it was no point in lying.

"We talked about it a lot, but we didn't know how to come across the subject. I'm sorry Tyler, but we just can't keep this up..." Chris gave a pitiful smile in Tyler's direction, whom was pouting down at his piano.

"What am I going to do? I can't start a band with one person!" Tyler exclaimed, wiping a tear off his chubby cheek. Chris looked up from packing his guitar away.

"I have a friend who's really good at drumming. I can give you his number." He suggested, taking out an index card and pen. Tyler sighed miserably and you shut your book, giving the band a sad smile. You wondered why they would just quit so suddenly like that. I guess it was stressful with all the work and pressure of real life. You wondered how Tyler still had motivation to do this instead of just sticking to what he was good at, and trained his whole life to do. Wouldn't it have been easier?

"Yeah, okay, but what about other band mates? It can't just be two people, can it?" Tyler asked, looking down at the card with the drummers information. You got up and looked over Tyler's shoulder to see whose information Chris had given him.

"Wait, is that Josh Dun? Like, the guy who was at your party last Saturday?" You ask, taking the card from Tyler, and examining the information.

"You mean the guy who you kept trying to hit on every five seconds when you were drunk? Yeah, him." Chris answered with a sly smirk. You looked up, blushing a bit, and hit his arm. Chris laughed playfully.

"I did not try to hit on him every five seconds!" You exclaimed, and then stared down at the number again. "It was more like every ten minutes." You finish, with a cheeky grin. Chris snickered and got all of his things together, along with a stressed out Nick.

"Well, sorry to leave you two on such early notice, but we have to go." Chris said, looking more friendly than Nick as they both headed out. Tyler snatched the card back from you.

"That card is for business, not flirting." He says, starting to put his piano away. You stuck your tongue out at him, and grabbed your book from the chair. "Wanna play video games downstairs since there isn't anything else to do?" Your best friend asked. You shrugged and gave a cheerful smile.

"Might as well. Told my parents I wouldn't be home in a couple more hours." You agree with a shrug as you and Tyler head inside into the basement. For an hour or two, the two of you played GTA V, killing hookers with dildo's or whatever you do in that game. Tyler constantly made jokes, and even pretended to be ghetto and drive around in a car with Lamar shooting at the police. It definitely cheered Tyler up from his sudden dilemma of work.

After having dinner with Tyler and hanging out with his family, you went home. Your family didn't pay too much attention to you. They did a lot of other things by themselves, and that left you to be alone as well. You hate to admit it, but it did bother you. Luckily, you had Tyler, and so you weren't completely lonely. Although, life was a bit boring. You woke up, went to school, went to work, and then hung out with Tyler before finally going back to sleep. It was an endless cycle, and it scared you to think that might be all you'll have to look forward to. You decided to shake off the thought, and finally went to sleep.

Early in the morning you heard loud pounding on the door. You woke up with a start and fear ran through your whole body. Careful not to make any noise, you approached your window to see who was at your door. With slight dissatisfaction and relief, you saw Tyler nervously pounding at your door. You slumped over and went to answer the door with a drowsy look. Tyler raised an eyebrow.

"Still sleepy?" He asks innocently with a small smile.

"It's eight in the god damn morning, Tyler! What is it?" You hollered at him, making your aggravation noticeable. "Not to mention you knock like a fucking psychopath!" Tyler smiled wide and tried not to laugh.

"I have a meeting with Josh today, and I want you to come!" Tyler proposed, and you stopped your yapping and looked at him. You rubbed your eyes and yawned.

"A what?" You asked, as if you hadn't heard him correctly.

"A meeting. We're going to talk about letting him in the band." Tyler said again, looking even happier. "Also, Mark is coming since he's our manager or whatever you call him." You smiled up at Tyler. You get to actually see Josh again! Although he might remember you, and that might be embarrassing.

"What time are we meeting him?" You ask, finally fully waking up.

"Um... Five tonight." You frown angrily again and slump back over.

"Five? Why the hell are you here so early then?" You ask, thinking about all the beautiful sleep you could be having if Tyler hadn't rudely barged in so aggressively.

"I need you to help me plan!" Tyler yelled, and pushed past you into the house. You sighed exhaustively and turned around.

"Oh yeah, of course you can come in." You mumble to yourself and close your door. Tyler walks back into the living room with a paper and pen in hand. He sat down on your couch and began to write.

"Come on! You have to help me plan this!" Tyler urged nervously, shaking his leg up and down with irritability. You sighed and sat down beside the boy.

"What are we planning exactly?" You ask, laying down on the couch as sleepiness washed over you.

"What we're going to ask him." Tyler responded, tapping the pencil on the table. You watched him tiredly and yawn again. "It's like a job interview." He added.

"Well, you could start by asking his age, and what made him want to play drums and how dedicated he'll be to the band. You know, hopefully more dedicated than Nick and Chris were." You thought, looking up at the ceiling. Tyler began scribbling some words on the piece of paper. "Also, how long he had been playing drums. Like, how experienced he is." You added, yawning again.

"That's perfect! You go back to sleep. I'll continue thinking of fun questions to ask!" Tyler said. 'Oh no,' you thought suddenly, but too tired to correct his fun questions idea. 'That is not what job interviews do.'

"Don't burn the house down..." You mumble before drifting back to sleep by the sound of Tyler roughly writing on the piece of paper.

You were violently shaken awake by a very anxious looking Tyler. He looked like a maniac to your very drowsy eyes.

"It is three o'clock! How much sleep do you need?" Tyler asks, his face red from being flustered and panicky. You stretch and sit up, yawning loudly. You felt much better than earlier. Very well rested.

"A lot," You answer your best friend. Tyler wasn't listening as he laid out an outfit he picked out for you. It was a small flowery dress, a black sweater jacket, black flats, and a rose headband laid out before you. You looked up and raised an eyebrow. Tyler smiles and shrugs.

"Thought Josh would think you're cute in that." He said sweetly and you smiled, picking up the outfit from off the couch, and headed towards your bathroom.

"I'll wear it. I'm gonna shower and get ready, then it should be time to go." You say, disappearing around a corner, and seconds later a shower is heard. Tyler smiles and sits on the couch, very excited to get a new bandmate.

"Good thing I woke you up now, then." Tyler mumbled to himself, as if you were still in the room. It took an hour or so for you to get ready after your shower and it was just about time to go. Plus Tyler had to pick up Mark because they all wanted to ride in the same vehicle.

You all arrive at the restaurant and get out to head inside. Tyler told the lady at the counter we had a reservation, and apparently Josh was already there. You were excited to meet Josh again because he was cute and seemed nice.

Josh stood up when he saw us arriving and had a wide smile. "Mark!" He called and Mark came over and does that one weird handshake that guys do when they see each other. Tyler looked bewildered.

"You know Josh?" He asks looking over at Mark.

"Yeah, we're college buddies." He says, unsure of why Tyler looks so annoyed. Tyler sighs and sits in the booth.

"Why am I the last to know everything?" Tyler whines miserably. "Did you also know Nick and Chris were leaving the band?"

"No, if I did I would have called Josh awhile ago about this offer." Mark replied sitting down next to Tyler. Josh looks you up and down with a smirk on his face.

"Who's this? I don't remember hearing there was a girl in the band." Josh says. You turn red and look away. Tyler rolls his eyes.

"She's my best friend, and is just here for support." Tyler sighs and sits up straight, looking more normal than sulking.

"Wow, you got a pretty girlfriend." Josh smiles and you turn even more red, giggling happily. Tyler and Mark groans in annoyance.

"We aren't dating! Now sit down before I change my mind about adding you to the band." Tyler says grumpily and Josh laughs and sits down across from Tyler and Mark. You nervously stumble over and sits next to Josh, not being able to take your eyes off of him.

"You aren't going to change your mind! You don't have any other option!" Josh teases and Tyler sticks out his tongue and mocks him. Every so often during the interview Josh turns and smirks over at you, making you blush. And yes, some questions were indeed silly and stupid.

Soon the interview was over and everyone stood up to leave. No one even ate anything and the owner of the place is super mad. When you're about to leave with Tyler and Mark, Josh grabs your wrist. You look down at him with big awestruck eyes.

"Hey, want to stay and eat dinner with me?" He asks with a sly smirk on his face. You smile sweetly, your cheeks rosy red. You turn to Mark and Tyler who are waiting for you by the door.

"You guys go on without me." You say, shooing them away.

"I'll drive her home afterwards." Josh promises and the two boys nod and head off. You sit back down across from Josh and stares into his chocolaty dark brown eyes. They were so warm and inviting. You guys order fancy sandwich's and talk about the band how much you love other bands and all of your rebellious emo phases.

After a nice long dinner, Josh drives you home and pulls up into your drive you. He looks over at you with a warm smile. "Goodnight, I hope you had a nice time."

"I did. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening." You say, your cheeks red and your smile so big that your cheeks ached. Josh chuckles and looks down, it looks like he is also blushing. You open the door to get out, but he grabs your arm again. You turn to face him, expecting him to say something, but he immediately locks his lips to yours. Your face turns as red as a tomato and after a second, you part.

"Sorry..." Josh mutters quietly, staring shyly at the steering wheel. You smile and step out of the car, smiling like an idiot.

"It's alright... I liked it..." You close the door and giggles hysterically all the way to your door. You look back at the car where the man you really liked sat, waiting for you to safely enter your house. You go inside, and have the most peaceful night you have ever had. Lmao just kidding you didn't sleep! You were talking all night to Tyler about the date, who didn't care at all! He sounded so irritated but you were so happy that you didn't care. Damn Tyler. Be more supportive.
