You were a mutant, obviously.
You had the ability to freeze time or accelerate it, but only slightly.
Because of this, you were often left with painful migraines.
When this happened, you just preferred to lay in bed silently.
Your boyfriend, Logan, or Wolverine, had been away on a 3 month mission.
So, he didn't know about the migraines.
At the moment, Scott was at your side, rubbing your forehead and running his fingers over your scalp lightly.
Him and you had developed a sibling-like relationship.
The door opened, but your eyes were closed to see who had entered.
You heard a bag drop and a snarl.
You felt Scott pull away.
You opened your eyes questioningly, only to see Logan walking over threateningly.
You sat up quickly.
You felt a pang in your head.
"Ow," you muttered, but ignored it, standing in front of Scott, "Logan, stop."
"What the hell is this?" he growled.
"He's helping me," you explained.
"With what?" Logan asked.
You pointed to your head.
"Migraine. I get them now because of my powers. So, if you don't mind calming down and lowering your voice, that'd be great," you said.
Logan calmed down and looked at Scott.
"Thanks, Scott. I got it from here," he said, meaningfully.
Scott nodded before he hugged you.
"Anything-," he began.
"I'll call you," you finished, nodding in understanding.
He smiled and walked out.
You looked at Logan.
"Welcome home," you said.
He hugged you tightly.
When he let you go, he made you lay down, before squeezing next to you and holding you close.
"What are you doing?" you asked.
"Something Scott couldn't do to comfort you. At least, he better not have cuddled with you," he responded.
You laughed and snuggled closer.
"I mean, I was hoping for a better welcome home than that. But you can make it up to me later," he said suggestively, earning a nudge to the side from you, "But for now we're having a lazy day."
You leaned up and kissed him quickly.
You felt a kiss on the top of your forehead and realized your headache was gone.
But you weren't going to say anything just yet.
