Clint Barton (Casual Love)

You walked into Avengers Tower with Natasha.
You and her were close friends.
You had just finished a mission to find a shapeshifter hiding in a drug house.
That was an experience.
They put up more of a fight than trained assassins.
You were pretty impressed, than annoyed.
"It's only noon and I have been shot twice and hit over the head with a flower vase. Can't wait to see that the rest of the day has in store for me," you sighed.
"That's the spirit, Y/N," Nat said, punching you in the arm.
You rolled your eyes.
You went your separate ways.
You sighed as you stepped into the kitchen.
You were starving.
You watched as the vent opening on the ceiling opened and Clint dropped down in front of you.
You raised an eyebrow.
"Heard you were having an exciting day," he winked.
You groaned and moved around him.
You snatched the pizza box out of the fridge.
"That thing is like three days old," Clint warned.
"Food," you shrugged, sticking it in the oven to warm up.
"No," Clint said, shutting the oven off and throwing out the cold pizza, "Come on, I'll take you out to dinner."
"Careful, Barton," you joked, "I might just think you're getting sweet on me."
"Did you not realize that that is literally what I am doing?" Clint asked, handing you a jacket.
"What?" you asked.
"I'm treating you to lunch so you don't eat disgusting food, yes," Clint nodded, "But I am also taking advantage to ask you out."
He held out his hand.
You took it.
That was how you had ended up at Olive Garden.
"Semi-fancy, semi-casual," Clint had called it.
"Food," you had once again reasoned.
"How long have you been planning this?" you asked.
"About a month now," he admitted.
"Ever heard of just growing a pair?" you teased.
Clint chuckled.
"I did try. You laughed, remember?" he asked.
You thought back.
You face palmed.
"You mean you buying me McDonald's was supposed to be romantic?" you asked.
Clint nodded.
"Oh, Clint. I'm sorry," you said.
"It's okay, I understood that one," he laughed.
"If it helps, I like when we just sit on the roof together and do nothing," you admitted.
"What?" he questioned.
"I'd much rather be doing that, than sitting here with these people staring at us waiting to come up," you stated.
Clint looked at you.
"I should have known," he said, standing up, "Come on, let's get out of here."
You smiled and stood.
"Wanna pick up McDonald's on the way?" you offered.
"Marry me."
