Peter Hale (Promise)
You were Derek’s best friend and had been since high school. You were both the same age, which made it easier to understand each other.
You had moved back to Beacon Hills two weeks ago. You were currently unpacking your last box into your new apartment.
There was a knock on your door. You opened it, only to be engulfed in a bear hug.
“Derek!” you exclaimed, hugging back.
“Y/N!” he laughed, letting go, “When did you get back?”
“Two weeks ago,” you answered.
“When were you going to visit?” he asked.
You shrugged.
“Tonight we are having movie night. No ifs, ands, or buts,” he said, writing down his number and address.
“I will be there,” you assured him.
He left and you finished unpacking.
That night, you went to your best friend’s loft. You were welcomed with a hug.
“What are we watching?” you asked, sitting on the couch.
“Taken,” he told you.
“Ugh, Liam Neeson is awesome,” you said, with a smile.
“Tell me about it,” he laughed.
You heard footsteps, but ignored it.
“Is that Y/N Y/L/N?” someone asked.
You turned and saw Peter Hale.
You rolled your eyes, forced a smile, and waved.
“Don’t I get a hug?” he winked.
“Uh, no,” you said.
Derek’s phone went off and he checked it.
“Scott needs me,” he said.
You didn’t know who Scott was, but you nodded.
“Go. We can hang out another time,” you smiled.
Derek nodded and left.
You stood to leave too, but Peter stopped you.
“What do you want, Peter?” you asked.
“Remember what I promised you on your sixteenth birthday?” he asked.
“One day, when I think it’s the right time, I’ll give you the best kiss of your life. It’ll take your breath away,” you remembered Peter promising you.
You slowly nodded.
“What about it?” you asked.
“It’s the right time,” he said.
Before you could say anything, Peter had an arm around your waist and the other on the back of your head.
He pressed his lips to yours, kissing you deeply and with longing.
When he pulled away, you were both out of breath.
“Did I come through?” he asked with a smirk.
You nodded, “Definitely.”
“I think we should do this more often,” he said.
“What are you suggesting, Peter?” you asked.
“Spend the night with me.”
