The best way to fall in love is slowly. Not some random guy or girl approching you, asking for your number, but getting to know someone without other intentions than being friends, co-workers, or whatever.

Think about it. The most hyped ships (for example Johnlock, Destiel or Tenrose) are like that.
You want them to finally realise that they belong togeter, and you hope for them and you suffer when they don't commit. When they touch each other, you get all excited, cuz you are not sure if it was just that - a touch - or if it had another meaning.

That's what makes it exciting. I mean, probably you ship a ship (._.) that started with direct flirting etc. but the other one breaks your heart again and again but you can't help but love it for that.

You don't know if that hug was meant friendly or if there was a chance they would kiss each other. And you'll never now. This keeps you on the edge of your seat. And maybe you'll continue to watch or read just to see if they'll finally get together.

But believe me. Experiencing this by yourself isn't very great.
