Like every party Tom and Indigo throw, it's always a blast. All their friends and family show up for a good time, and there's never any disappointment. Last year, Tom spent his birthday on a plane due to all the traveling for promoting Spider-Man: Homecoming, but this year he got to have a proper party, and he definitely wasn't disappointed.

"We sure know how to throw a party, huh?" Indigo asked her fiancé as the two munched on snacks. Couple goals, right?

"Every time we have a party it's always a smash, darling." Tom replied, putting a chip (well, crisp in Tom's world) in his mouth.

"We're like party gods." She grinned, looking out at everyone having a good time.

"Darling, we're everything." He said with chips in his mouth. Indigo laughed at him due to the amount of chips he had, and he couldn't laugh without having a chip fall out. There was definitely gonna be tons of crumbs on him now. "I love when you make musical references for my musical nerd self."

Once downing all the chips without choking, Tom finally got a response out. "I know."

In the distance, Indigo notices Jenny and Laura seeming pretty cozy are they were hanging out with each other. There were no confirmations of anything happening between them yet, but Indigo sure was here for it if it were to happen. "Ooo, Jenny and Laura are looking cozy and I'm here for it."

"Leave them be, Indie. Jaura is off limits tonight." Tom said before Indigo could attempt to play Cupid for the millionth time. Some things never change.

"What about Zendiego?" She smirked, praying that Tom would let her finesse something between Zendaya and Diego.

"If they ever don't stand more than 5 feet away from each other." He laughed. Did he lie? No.

"True. At this point there's no hope for them." Indigo sighed.

Tom looked over at her in disbelief and confusion, as there was hope for the former couple just recently. "What are you talking about? There was literally hope for them a chapter ago."

"Jeez, what are we in, a fanfic?" She giggled.

"Yes-"

Tom was interrupted by his parents walking up to him with a box in her mum's hand, a box in which he wasn't sure what was in it. "Happy birthday, honey!"

"Oh, hello, mum." He greeted, brushing off the tons of crumbs on his pants, then quickly hugged his parents. Indigo hugged them as well, saying a simple hello as she did.

"Your mother and I got you this." Dom, Tom's father said. Nikki, his mother, handed him the box, and he quickly opened it. It was a pair of custom made Spider-Man sneakers, which totally blew Tom's mind. "Woah! Are these custom?"

"I know a guy." His dad shrugged.

Indigo took a look at the shoes, pretty amazed by how cool they look. She wasn't gonna say it out like, but she kind of wanted a pair for herself. "These are so cool, oh my god."

"By the way, Indigo," Nikki interrupted, changing the subject. "we are so excited for you to join the family! We can't wait for you to be a Holland!"

"Actually," Indigo paused. "Holland-Rivera."

"Yeah, we're gonna do the hyphenated thing." Tom chimed in.

While Dom seemed to have no problem with it, Nikki didn't exactly sound pleased by it. "Oh, uhm, interesting!"

"It was Tom's idea actually." She added.

"Really?" Nikki asked.

"I thought it would be nice for her to still embrace her roots, ya know?" Tom said. The man sure cared about his fiancée, but when he proposed the idea, she was totally down for it and definitely surprised that he thought about it.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it." His mum nodded.

"Still a Holland though!" Indigo said, doing finger guns to make the conversation less awkward, but it didn't help.

"Do you hear that?" Tom asked out of nowhere. Even he could tell that this conversation wasn't going well, and he quickly wanted to make an escape from his own parents.

"No-"

"Yes, Harrison! We will open that beer for you!" He called out. Indigo looked in confusion, raising an eyebrow as Tom yelled out for Harrison randomly. "We?"

"See ya, mum and dad!" Tom waved and grabbed Indigo's hand.

"Bye, Dom and Nikki!" Indigo waved as well, then quickly turned back to Tom. "They're so not a fan of the hyphenated thing."

"So not a fan."

Later at the party, Diego was finally within reach of Zendaya, and he was praying that he could get in a few words. "Z! Hey-"

But, that wasn't gonna happen. Zendaya quickly turned to him, sighing as she look at his face, and dismissed him immediately. "Not tonight, please."

"Not tonight, not tonight." Diego repeated to himself quietly. "That's something, I guess."

Indigo, who had witnessed the small encounter, walked up to her brother to talk to him. "She is one stubborn woman."

"I should've known what I got myself into when I fell for a Virgo." He sighed. The man felt like he was a printer running out of ink, and at this point he was extremely low.

"Look, if she can trust you again then that means something, right?" She said to try cheering him up. "Just have faith, hermano."

"I just... really love her, ya know? She's the one, and of course I fucked it up." This was actually the first time Diego had admitted out loud that Zendaya was the one. Of course he thought about it in his head, but he never said it to anyone else.

"Good thing you two are walking down the aisle together." Indigo laughed. Immediately after Diego looked confused at the mention of walking down the aisle. "Huh? We're not getting married!"

"I mean for when the groomsmen and bridesmaids walk down, dummy." She lightly hit his arm. "I purposely paired you two up."

"Whew," He took a sigh of relief. "I was about to say, that's your wedding!"

Now that Indigo thought about it, it would definitely be nice for them to get married. Well, getting back together would suffice, but a wedding would be even better. "I mean, a Zendiego wedding would be nice-"

"In my dreams." Diego said, not realizing he said it out loud.

Indigo thought she heard something, but wasn't sure. "Huh?"

"Nothing!" He quickly replied. "I'm just gonna... bother Jenny."

"Of course." She rolled her eyes. "Just like when we were kids."

"Yup, adiós, hermana." Diego said and waved goodbye to his sister.

"Adiós." Indigo waved.

A few moments later Tom walked up to her, holding a plate with cake on it. He was practically housing the cake down, but that wasn't stopping him. "Yo, this cake is banging- what happened?"

"The usual." She sighed. "Diego trying his best and Zendaya not having it."

"Ah, course." Tom said. He definitely wasn't surprised at all, but little did Indigo know that Tom knew about the kids, as Diego told him over text a couple weeks ago. He was sworn to secrecy since Diego knew Indigo would freak out, so he kept his promise.

"Uh huh. Can I have a bite?" Indigo asked Tom, noticing the plate he was holding. Tom quickly held the plate close to him, acting like a child. "Get your own cake!"

"Hey, I paid for that cake!" She exclaimed.

"Too bad!" He whined.

"Just one bite!"

"No!"

"You're such a man-child." Indigo rolled her eyes. "I'm gonna get a slice. It's like my third now."

"Thank you for buying such delicious cake!" Tom yelled out as Indigo walked away, blowing a kiss.

"Mhm, you're welcome!"
