@indigoblue: Merry Christmas, kiss my ass.
•••
Tom assumed that he would wake up on Christmas morning with the lovely view of Indigo sleeping beside him, but oh boy was he wrong.
Out of nowhere, Indigo randomly hits a high note well beyond her known range, making Tom jump out of bed. "Merry Christmas Tommy Boy! Now let's open some fucking presents!"
"What about breakfast-"
"Your tea and nasty biscuits can wait!" Indigo says. "I want you to see what I got you!"
"Nasty? Woah-" Indigo grabbed Tom's hand and practically dragged him to the living him where their enormous tree stood high. She pushed him onto the couch, which Tom found oddly hot, but it was only 8 am and Indigo was dying to open presents.
Indigo grabs one of the many gift boxes and hands it to Tom. "Open it."
See, Indigo knew exactly which gift she handed Tom. She specifically used a different gift wrap from the others just so she knew which one to hand him first. She probably should've waited for last, but she was dying to show Tom this gift.
Tom ripped the wrapping paper and took the lid off the box to reveal a huge blanket, but it wasn't just and ordinary blanket. "A blanket?"
"Unfold it." He unfolded the blanket, which showed pictures of the two, spanning from when they first met to more recently. "I got it made on this custom website, but it's memories of us."
"I... I love it." Tom says, leaving Indigo surprised. "Really?"
"I could never top this, Indie." He looks up at her. Was he crying? If he was, it definitely would be happy tears. He was so glad to have Indigo as his future wife.
"I mean, you did help me meet Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan, so..." Indigo shrugs. And she would meet them again at the next Avengers premiere.
"True. Anyway, wanna open your presents?" Tom asked, but little did he know that Indigo had more in store for her fiancé.
"No, no, no." She shakes her head. "I have more presents for you."
"Oh?" Tom raised eyebrow. Indigo runs over to the Christmas tree, picking up four stacked boxes. The stack was tall enough to cover her face, but she luckily managed to not fall and ruin the presents.
"You've really outdone yourself this year, haven't you?" He laughs a little.
"Hush." Indigo then hands him a small box. "Open."
He opened the box, which contained what looked like a very expensive watch. "A couple weeks ago when we went out for dinner we walked past it on a display and you said you really liked it, so I bought it."
"Indie-"
"I can return it!" She interrupts him.
"No!" He picks up the watch and puts it on. "It's amazing."
"Thank god." She whispers to herself.
They opened up the rest of Tom's presents, which were matching shoes and sweatshirts. It may seem corny, but Tom couldn't get enough of it.
Now they were on to Indigo's presents, and she was definitely in for a surprise. A surprise that she would seriously love.
"You got me Hamilton tickets?" Her eyes widened as she looked down at the tickets in her hand. "Holy shit!"
"Best seats in the house." He grinned, proud to know that she obviously loved the gift. "Come on, you're gonna love this next gift."
"But I'm already shook enough!" She whined. What could top Hamilton tickets? Especially when you're a huge theatre lover like Indigo.
"Open." Tom said, using her previous words against her. She grabs the next box from the pile, one that was of the same size. Indigo could care less about how big the box was, as long as the gift had meaning she was fine with it.
Indigo opens the box, revealing a bracelet consisting of many charms that represented her, at least in Tom's eyes, but he pretty much got everything right. "Why are you buying me expensive things?"
"Because I can." Tom shrugged. It was also because he loved her, but he did like treating her like a princess.
"This is everything compared to the blanket I got you." She frowned. Now she wished that she put a little more money into her presents for him.
"But I love that blanket." He assured her.
"Yeah, yeah." Indigo sighed. "But this had to cost thousands."
"Well, I'm not telling you the cost, so." Tom smirked. It did cost a lot, but she didn't have to know.
Out of nowhere, Indigo's phone went off. They did invite Papa Rivera to come over, but they didn't expect a call from him so early.
"Papa?" Indigo said when she picked up the phone.
"Blue! Can you get Tom to help me get your present out of the car? I managed to get it in the car but I'm merely an old man-"
"Yeah, uh, sure." She replied. Indigo then called out for Tom. "Tommy! Go outside and help Papa!"
"Your dad needs my help? I'm on it!" Tom then slipped on the first pair of shoes he saw and ran out the door. He definitely seemed excited knowing that Indigo's dad needed him.
A few moments later, Papa Rivera and Tom entered with an extremely tall box. "Merry Christmas, Blue!"
"Woah, what did you get me?" She examines the box. "This box is taller than me!"
"And way heavier." Tom coughed.
Papa Rivera takes off the top of the box, and Diego jumps up to Indigo's surprise. "Surprise!"
"Holy fuck-" Indigo jumps at the sight of Diego popping his head out of the box. "Diego? What the fuck!"
After somehow managing to get out of the box, Diego extends his arms to hug Indigo. "¡Feliz Navidad! (Merry Christmas!)"
"You scared the-" She slaps Diego silly. "-shit outta me! Whose idea was this?"
"Papa's." He pointed to Papa Rivera. "And he knew I would love scaring you."
"Really?" Indigo looks over at her father. "I almost had a heart attack!"
"Hush, mija (my daughter)." Papa Rivera said. "This family has no history of heart disease!"
"Who's gonna tell him." Diego whispers to Indigo.
"It's an expression, Papa." She rolls her eyes. "So, did you guys get us anything?"
"Um, no."
