As Indigo got home from her second to last dress rehearsal, she couldn't help but feel the excitement. This was actually happening, and it was happening in less than two days.

Even though performing on live TV was going to be amazing, Indigo remembered Zendaya and Diego were going to be stuck incredibly near each other for the event, and she absolutely couldn't wait to witness it.

"Honey, I'm home!" Indigo yelled out jokingly. Zendaya was currently in the living room with her mom, who were watching the Hairspray movie from 2007. "Oh, hey Claire. Whatcha guys doin?"

"Preparing for Hairspray." Zendaya replied with her eyes glued to the TV.

"You're gonna do so much better than this Amanda Bynes chick." Zendaya's mom, Claire, said.

"Mom, what did I tell you about tearing down other women?" She asked her mom like she was a child.

"Don't even repeat it, honey." Claire sassed. "I'm trying to boost Indigo here. By the way, how's your engagement?"

"I don't know, engaging?" Indigo shrugged, adding a little laugh at the end. "We're planning on getting married in July."

"I'm invited, right?" She raised an eyebrow. What kind of question is that? How could the woman who literally birthed Zendaya not be invited?

"Um, duh!" Indigo said. "It would be an actual crime if you weren't."

"Perfect!" Claire exclaimed. "I'll be the wise older woman to help you out with cold feet!"

"Cold feet?"

"Happens before every wedding. You'll be fine." Will she though? "Anyway, I should be heading home. Good luck with the show!"

"Thank you, Claire!" Indigo and Claire hugged before leaving, since Indigo saw her as a mother figure. "God, I love your mom."

"Trust me, everyone does." Zendaya says.

@indigoblue: Since we're nearing the actual live event, I just want to appreciate the entire cast as a whole in this post. You guys welcomed me with opened arms and treated me so kindly. It's not everyday that you find people as warm-hearted as you all are. I'm so glad we were all put together in this because I don't know what I'd do if I never met any one of you. Love you forever friends. We're almost there. 💙 P.S. I'm so corny omg I'm SO SORRY

It was now closer to bedtime, but Indigo and Zendaya were cuddled under a blanket binge watching How I Met Your Mother, which was one of Indigo's favorite shows.

"So like, Ted and Robin are endgame, right?" Zendaya asked Indigo. It was actually her first time watching the show, but Indigo was keeping her lips sealed.

"I already know what happens, but I'm not saying anything." Indigo replied, smirking.

"Wow, rude." She scoffed.

"You know what else is rude? You refusing to talk to my brother." Indigo stared down Zendaya practically begging for some sort of hope.

"Not this again." Zendaya sighed.

"You're gonna have no choice but to talk to him on Wednesday!" Zendaya knew that, and she had been dreading it for weeks.

"Well then I'm so looking forward to it." She said to Indigo sarcastically. "Now let's continue watching, please. I wanna watch the next episode."

"Fine." Indigo groaned to pressed play for the next episode.

So today is the one year anniversary of fangirl (and my friendship with etherreally) and there's still a few hours left so I decided to update fanboy!! I will be back on Wattpad full time on August 4th so look forward to future fanboy chapters!! The next one is gonna be the longest one EVER 👀
