Shehnaaz started recovering slowly and after few days she got discharged from the hospital. In these days she tried many ways to contact Sidharth but nothing worked. She constantly asked Kushal, Shivangi about him but everytime they came up with some new excuse. They kept assuring her that everything was fine but a part of her heart knew that nothing was fine. There was something wrong, she had a feeling that he was going away from her, far away so that she would never be able to find him again.

After getting discharged, Shivangi and Mayank took her to an apartment which made Shehnaaz even more confused.

"Hum idhar kyu aaye hai Shivangi? Yeh... Yeh humara ghar nahi hai." Said Shehnaaz being restless while Shivangi and Mayank looked at each other. They knew that now they need to tell her truth.

"Shehnaaz, tu andar chal.... Hum aram se baat karenge." Said Shivangi calmly, holding her hand but Shehnaaz jerked her hand.

"Nahi. Mujhe abhi baatao. Main uss ghar mein kyu nahi jaa sakti? Jab se mujhe hosh aaya hai, maine Sidharth ko dekha tak nahi, uss se baat tak nahi kiyi. Har baar jab main yeh sawal puchti hoon, tum iss baat ko taal dete ho. Sach baatao, tum log kuch chhupa rahe ho na mujhse?"

Shivangi sighed and said, "Sidharth ne tujhe chhor diya hai. Azad kar diya hai usne tujhe."

Shehnaaz became numb hearing that and kept looking at Shivangi with disbelief.

"Uska kehna hai ki, tune uss se badla lene ke liye uske saath jhuta pyaar ka natak kiya, isliye woh tujhse nafrat karta hai, woh tere saath koi rishta nahi rakhna chahta. Maine aur Kushal ne bohut samjhane ki koshish kiyi lekin... Woh humari baat tak nahi sun raha. Yeh apartment uss hi ne diya hai humein. Woh nahi chahta tu uss ghar mein wapas jaaye. Pehle jaise uski zidh thi tujhe apne paas rakhne ki, waise hi ab uski zidh hai tujhe khud se dur karne ki." She said further hearing which tears fell from Shehnaaz's eyes.

"Aisa nahi ho sakta..." She whispered. "Itna sab kuch hone ke baad bhi usko lag raha hai mera pyaar jhuta tha?"

"Yeh hi toh mujhe samajh nahi aa raha. Uske according tu ab tak qaid mein thi. Aur ab woh tujhe tera sab kuch wapas lautana chahta hai.... Isliye usne Mayank ko bhi...."

Shivangi didn't say further and held her head in frustration. Shehnaaz looked at Mayank curiously.

"Sidharth ne hi mujhe yaaha bulaya. Woh chahta hai ki hum dono phir se ek ho jaaye... Pehle ki tarah.... Honestly main tum dono ke bich nahi aana chahta tha lekin....."

"Sidharth ne dhamki diyi?" Asked Shehnaaz and he nodded in yes.

"Woh samajhta kya hai apne aap ko? Sab kuch uske hisaab se thodi hoga? Maana woh naraz hai but at least mujhse baat kar ke sab kuch clear karne ka mauka toh de? Nahi, main aur nahi ruk sakti. Mujhe abhi jaa ke uss se milna hai."

Shehnaaz was about to go but Shivangi stopped her.

She cupped her face and said, "Shehnaaz iss se koi fayda nahi hoga. Woh nahi karega tujhse baat. Kushal khud usko samjhate samjhate thak chuka hai. Upar se tu abhi abhi hospital se discharged hui hai, teri tabiyat bhi puri tarah se thik nahi hai. Pehle thik ho jaa, phir uss se baat karne jaana, haan?"

Shehnaaz was yet not ready to understand when Mayank said, "Humne Aunty ko bhi tere baare mein nahi baataya, unki tabiyat aur kharab ho jaati isliye. Unko abhi bhi lag raha hai tu shaadi ki preperation mein busy hai. Tujhe unke liye bhi thik hona hoga na? Aur phir thik hoke Sidharth se bhi mil lena. We all know that he loves you. Woh zyada der tujhse gussa nahi reh payega."

Shehnaaz calmed a little hearing that and nodded.

Meanwhile...

Sidharth was sitting on his chair and checking some files when Kushal rushed inside his cabin angrily.

"Yeh sab kya hai Sidharth? Are you serious?" He asked feeling betrayed as he didn't know about such a big thing.

"Mera final decision hai. Maine apna mann bana liya hai. Main iss se peeche nahi hatt raha." Said Sidharth coldly, looking at the files.

"Aur Shehnaaz? Uska kya? Jaane se pehle ek baar bhi nahi milega uss se?"

As Kushal asked this, Sidharth's expression changed. But he controlled his emotions and said, "Ab main uska past hoon. Kya karunga main uss se mil ke? Behtar hai ki woh mujhe bhul jaaye aur move on kar le."

Kushal nodded in disbelief and said, "Tu acche se jaanta hai woh tujhse kitna pyaar karti hai. Phir bhi tu kitni asani se yeh sab bol raha hai. Kabhi socha nahi tha ki tu itna patthar dil niklega. Tu jo marzi kar.".

Kushal left from there getting irritated.

As soon as he left, Sidharth kept the files on the table. His eyes fell on the engagement ring on his finger. He caressed it and remembered their ring ceremony when she made him wear this ring with so much love.

"Maine khud se waada kiya tha ki main uss se kabhi nahi milunga. Lekin jaane se pehle ek akhri baar usse dekhna ka bohut mann ho raha hai. Bas ek tasalli ho jaaye ki woh sahi salamat hai, phir uss se dur jaane mein takleef thodi kam hogi."

Thinking that, he left his office, taking the extra keys of their apartment which he had with himself.

On the other hand, Shehnaaz was not drinking or eating anything. She was continuously taking Sidharth's name and wanted to meet him.

"Shivangi mujhe nahi khana kuch. Tu Sidharth ko ek baar bol na ki main nahi kha rahi. Woh khud aa ke mujhe khila dega. Woh har baar aisa hi karta hai." Said Shehnaaz while Shivangi and Mayank were feeling bad seeing her condition.

"Shehnaaz zyada nahi... Bas thoda sa kha le... Nahi toh tu thik kaise hogi yaar?" Said Shivangi feeling helpless. She also wanted them to meet and clear every misunderstanding they had. But what could she do when Sidharth himself denied to meet her and keep any relation with her? He distanced himself so much that nobody could bring him back to her.

"Sidharth aa jaaye... Uske baad... Warna nahi khaungi... Main..." She said sobbing.

Shivangi couldn't understand what to do while Mayank got irritated now. He took the plate of food from Shivangi's hands and said loudly, "Tujhe Sidharth ki kasam. Pyaar karti hai na uss se? Toh kha chup chap!"

Shehnaaz became quiet hearing that. Having no option, she slowly opened her mouth and Mayank fed him.

"Aur tujhe Sidharth se baat karni hai na? Toh chali jaa. Office mein hi hoga woh. Aur hum mein se koi nahi aayega tere saath. Dono face to face baat kar ke khatam karo iss matter ko." He said further.

"Par yeh puri tarah se thik nahi hai.. "

Before Shivangi could complete, Mayank said, "Agar yeh Sidharth se nahi mil paayi na toh waise bhi marr jaayegi, uske liye rote rote. Aur uski zidh ko sirf yeh hi tod sakti hai. Isliye tu jaana aur khud baat kar lena uss se, thik hai? Par filhaal yeh khana khatam kar."

Shehnaaz nodded and ate the food while Shivangi felt relieved seeing that she was eating.

Meanwhile, Sidharth came inside the apartment using the extra keys, without making any noise. He just wanted to see her and then left from there without getting noticed by her.

As soon as he came outside the room, he saw that Mayank was feeding her with so much care. His eyes welled up seeing it and heart ached remembering how he used to feed her like this.

"Main sahi tha... Usko nahi hai meri zaroorat... Aur honi bhi nahi chahiye... Kyu ki main uske saath rahunga toh uski jaan khatre mein hogi. I can never give her this beautiful life... Kam se kam meri Naazo abhi sahi insaan ke saath toh hai... Humesha khush rehna aur ho sake toh mujhe maaf kar dena. Main tere liye hi tujhse dur jaa raha hoon..."

Thinking that, Sidharth wiped off the tear from the corner of his eyes and left from there silently.

At night...

Sidharth was working in his office. As always he planned to work overnight. Since the day he got separated from Shehnaaz, he made himself busy in work and avoided going to his mansion which only had her memories. Because of this reason, he made such a big decision of leaving. Yes, he was leaving India for good to go away from her life.

Suddenly Sidharth got a call from the security and picked it up.

"Hello..... What?.... I'm coming."

Sidharth immediately hanged up and came outside the office only to find Shehnaaz standing there. Her eyes were teary but a slight smile came to her face as soon as she saw him. His heart ached seeing her in that condition but he controlled his emotions.

"Sidharth..... main......"

Before Shehnaaz could say, Sidharth said to the security guards, "Inko kaho yaaha se chali jaaye. Main filhaal bohut busy hoon. I don't have time to meet some random person in my office."

Shehnaaz's heart broke hearing that from his mouth. She used to be his love, his whole world. And now how easily he addressed her as 'random person'.

Saying those words, Sidharth went inside his office, without giving a glance at her.

Shehnaaz clenched her jaw and wiped off her tears. She wouldn't go without talking to him.

The security guards convinced her but she kept standing outside the office and waiting for him.

After half an hour, Sidharth looked through the window and saw that Shehnaaz was still standing outside his office. He became worried as her health condition was not good. He called his men and ordered them to take her away.

After sometime, a car came to Shehnaaz and Sidharth's men came out of it.

"Malkin chaliye hum aap ko ghar chhor dete hai." Said Viren and Shehnaaz glared him.

"Mujhe nahi jaana." She said sternly.

"Mausam kharab hai, baarish hone wali hai... Aap ka iss halat mein yaaha rehna thik nahi... Chaliye na." Said Rizwan.

"Malkin main hoon ya tum log? Mere paas apne Boss ki chamchagiri karne mat aao. Agar usse meri itni hi fikar hai toh usse bolo aa ke mujhse baat karne ke liye. Jab tak main uss se baat nahi kar leti, main yaaha se nahi hilne wali."

They sighed seeing Shehnaaz's stubbornness and called Sidharth.

"Boss hum kuch nahi kar sakte, woh humari nahi sun rahi." Said Viren.

"Toh zabardasti leke jaao aur ghar tak chhor do. Mujhe woh mere office ke saamne nahi chahiye." Said Sidharth angrily.

"Sorry Boss, hum aisa nahi kar sakte."

"Yeh mera order hai, Boss hoon main tum logo ka."

"Aur woh humari Malkin hai. Humari wafadari unki taraf bhi toh hai. Aap dono yeh jhagra khatam ki jiye. Malkin sach mein bohut ro rahi hai, humein accha nahi lag raha."

Sidharth cut the call and face-palmed himself in frustration. Then he decided to ignore her and concentrate on work.

After sometime, all the employees left, but Shehnaaz still kept standing there, Sidharth's men were also there with her. Suddenly it started raining heavily.

"Malkin chaata li jiye. Bhig jaayengi aap." Said Viren offering umbrella.

"Nahi chahiye...." Said Shehnaaz, her eyes were fixed at Sidharth's office.

Sidharth came near the window and saw Shehnaaz getting soaked in the rain. This time, he couldn't control himself. He couldn't let her fall sick.

Without wasting any moment, Sidharth came outside the office and walked towards her.

"Kya kar rahi hai? Bimar padna hai kya phir se? Chal andar!" Said Sidharth gritting his teeth and took her inside the office, holding her hand tightly.

Entering his cabin, he made her sit on the couch. She was all soaked in rain and shivering in cold.

"Baat.... karni hai... Tumse..." She said in broken words, still sobbing.

Ignoring her words, he took a towel from the office's washroom and wiped her. Then he wrapped his own coat around her and made her drink warm water.

"Tu kya kar rahi thi bahar? Itni muskil se thik hui hai, woh bhi puri tarah se nahi. Phir se bimaar padhna tha tujhe? Zidh ki bhi ek hadh hoti hai Shehnaaz." He said looking at her angrily, his eyes were red.

"Aur tumhare...zidh ka kya?... Uski koi hadh nahi hoti?" She asked, her voice was reflecting pain. "Kyu kar rahe ho mere saath aisa? Jab ki tumhe paata hai... Main pyaar karti hoon tumse."

"Nahi karti." He said coldly. "Woh sab tu badla lene ke liye kar rahi thi. That recording was not a lie. Tune Nawaz Bhai ke saath haath milaya tha, mujhe barbaad karne ke liye. Aur tu kyu na karti? Maine tujhse tera pyaar, teri azadi sab kuch cheen liya tha. Isliye aaj woh hi sab tujhe wapas lauta diya. Ab tu khush reh na, kyu aa rahi hai mere piche, haan?"

Shehnaaz cupped his face softly and said crying, "Kyu ki main tumse pyaar karti hoon.... Mera pyaar kabhi jhuta nahi tha.... Bohut pehle hi mujhe tumse pyaar ho gaya tha main bas... Nawaz Bhai ki baaton mein aa gayi thi.... Par jab mujhe paata chala ki tumne Mayank ko nahi maara, koi galat kaam nahi kiya tumne, main tumse phir se pyaar karne lagi.... Tumhe sach nahi baata paayi kyu ki darti thi tumhe khone se.... Tum mujhe jo chahe saza de do, lekin mujhse dur mat jaao... Main nahi jee sakti tumhare bina.... I love you Sidharth.... I love you..."

Shehnaaz hugged Sidharth tightly and started crying in his embrace making his heart sank. Only if he could explain that he was doing all this to protect her.... From himself.

Pal-bhar theher jaao, dil yeh sambhal jaaye

"Stop loving me Shehnaaz. I don't love you anymore. I... I hate you." He said with difficulty.

"I know you love me." She said chuckling painfully. "I can't stop loving you. Ek mauka de do mujhe, main sab thik kar dungi."

Sidharth's shirt became wet because of her tears while her hold got more tightened as she was not ready to leave him.

Meri taraf aata har gham phisal jaaye
Aankhon mein tumko bharoon

Sidharth fisted his palm stopping himself to hug her. His brain was fighting with his heart which wanted to melt in her embrace. But in reality, he couldn't do that, he had to push her way, even if it caused him pain more than her.

Shehnaaz broke the hug, and caressed his face lovingly.

Bin bole baatein tumse karoon

Agar tum saath ho

She closed her eyes kept her lips on his. That moment she knew that she only needed him. His love, his care, his touch, everything was her habit. She couldn't stay without him.

For a moment, Sidharth became lost feeling her touch after so long. But the next moment he pushed her away and got up leaving her heartbroken. He was about to go when Shehnaaz held her hand.

"Don't do this Shehnaaz. Don't make it harder for me." He thought controlling his tears which were about to come.

"Tum samajhte kyu nahi ho Sidharth? Mujhe nahi aata tumhare bina jeena. Main tumse iss qadar jud chuki hoon ki ab dur jaane ke khayal se bhi darr lagta hai. Tumhe jitna waqt chahiye le lo lekin mujhe apne paas rehne do."

Saying that, she stood up and hugged him again.

"Nahi rehne de sakta tujhe apne paas... Hum dono ki duniya alag hai Shehnaaz... Yeh baat mujhe bohut der se samajh aayi hai... Tu apni duniya mein wapas laut jaa." He said, a lone tear escaped his eyes.

"Meri duniya toh tum hi Sidharth... Tumhe chhor ke kaha jaaungi? Mujhe yaheen rehna hai... Tumhare saath..." She said sobbing, keeping her heart in front of him.

Behti rehti leher-nadiya si teri duniya mein
Meri duniya hai teri chaahaton mein

Sidharth was struggling to break the hug but Shehnaaz kept hugging him forcefully, not letting him push her away this time.

Main dhal jaati hoon teri aadaton mein
Agar tum saath ho

"Don't." Uttered Sidharth jerking her away. "Stay away from me. Chali jaao wapas."

He said rudely, showing that her tears were not affecting him but actually it was breaking his heart from inside. But he knew the reality that they couldn't be together, if they did it wouldn't be good for her. He had to live alone in this dark world for the rest of his life.

Teri nazron mein hain tere sapne
Tere sapnon mein hai naraazi
Mujhe lagta hai ke baatein dil ki
Hoti lafzon ki dhokebaazi

Sidharth kept his hand on the table, turning his back towards Shehnaaz, so that she couldn't see his tears.

Shehnaaz slowly came towards Sidharth. She knew he was in pain too but she had no idea why he was pushing her away. Was it only because of the mistake she did in past? Or there was something more?

She sat on her knees and held Sidharth's legs while crying making him look at her.

Palkein jhapakte hi din yeh nikal jaaye
Baithi-baithi bhaagi phiroon
Meri taraf aata har gham phisal jaaye
Aankhon mein tumko bharoon
Bin bole baatein tumse karoon

"Ek mauka...Sidharth.... Bas ek mauka...." She whispered, her eyes were puffy due to crying, still she was trying to get his forgiveness, with the minimum hope she sad.

Sidharth realised that if he stayed there more, he wouldn't be able to control himself. Taking a deep breath, he freed his leg and came out of the cabin leaving Shehnaaz in tears.

Teri nazron mein hain tere sapne

Mujhe lagta hai ke baatein dil ki
Hoti lafzon ki dhokebaazi

Shehnaaz wiped her tears after sometime and got up. She started following him outside, hoping that he would stop for her, he would return to her and everything would be like earlier.

Shehnaaz came outside and saw him opening the gate of his car.

"SIDHAAARTHHH!" She screamed crying which he heard and clenched his jaw.

He closed his eyes while she wanted him to look at her for once.

After a while, he opened his eyes and got inside the car without turning back. With this, Shehnaaz lost the minimum hope.

Sidharth drived his car while crying silently.

On the other hand, Shehnaaz fell down crying. The rain had stopped by then but her tears didn't stop flowing. No matter how much he was trying to push her away but the fact was she couldn't stop loving him, she could never do that. As long as she was taking breath, she would keep loving only him.
