*Ash' s POV*

I watched at Rin ran off, and as Alice stormed in yelling

"Ash!" I jumped, "y-yes?" I said she looked me dead in the eye and said "was. Rin. Here?"

"Nooo...." I said slowly looking away, my red hair in my brown eyes, "she was!" Alice screamed, and Will slip between us, as I whispered "thanks" I stepped back.

"Is there a problem miss" he smiled, "William! Where did she go?" Alice looked at him, and I tryed to slip out of the arcade, "Ash! Get back here! You too Zoe!" I turned to Zoe, who had the same idea as me, and we walked back over. Both of our head looking to the ground, and Will trying to get us out of this before anyone elts gets involved, mostly jocks.

I glanced at at the door, there stood to buff guys, in varsity jackets, and the word "football" under our schools name "Emerald high school" I sighed, and finally spoke up.

"She's going to the mall, for... her... umm.." I started "to get flowers!" Zoe yelled "ya... it's ermm... for her... ya know" Will ended it, Alice stopped "oh ya... parents..." she looked down, "wait wasn't that in January?" She looked up, "nope!" And we ran past the jocks, and sprinted down the street.

Rin never talked about that day, the day they where killed, her older brother running with her, and them hidding for a week in the forest in the dead of winter, as strange government men looked for them to kill aswell.

But that was 10 years ago, and the two live on the edge of town.

Will, Zoe and I ran after her, hopping we catch her before Alice.

We turned a corner, and ran strate into her, making all four of us fall to the ground,

"Ash? Will? Zoe?" She looked confused "what's wrong?" We all got entangled, still sitting we told her Alice, and two jocks where looking for her, and she sighed

"Alice is most likely mad because I left, and the jocks because I did all their homework wrong" Rin then smiled evily, and got up, "welp! Time to run!" She smiled, and we all got up, "where to?" Zoe asked "old club house?" Will looked around, "the one in the woods behind my house?" Rin looked at us, we had two, her roof, and the forest one,

Zoe nodded "I like that one" she smiled, "oka-" I started when a yell came from behind,
"GET BACK HERE NERDS!" I turned the bigger jock James, Zoe' s cousin, yelled, and we sighed, "run?" William blinked

"Run" the rest of us blinked back, and we turned and sprinted to the forest hide out.
