When writing there has to be something to push you further or get your inspiration from. Use that to power your story. Most get their inspiration from other authors, but there's a fine line between getting ideas and just plain copying.

Side Note: Again, using my story The Mermaid Princess and Her Prince for this example, I used a little inspiration from movie, The Little Mermaid. Was my story an exact copy of the movie? No. I had the idea to make a princess who was a mermaid become human. But then I created my own plot. One where it's a twist of betrayal, love, and suspense.

Motivation
≫You can find motivation from anything. Maybe you're in a car ride and suddenly get an idea. Or maybe you read a book and got inspired. Find something you see interest in and turn that into reality. Motivation comes for anything that stands out to YOU.
