In order for a reader to even click the 'read' button they need a reason as to why.

≫ When writing your summary make sure to be vague. Don't spill the plot because then it just becomes predictable. Cliché almost. But you also want to make sure you give enough details to where the reader is interested in the story.

≫ Use bigger and more intellectual words. For example, instead of saying "Sped up" say "accelerate" or instead of "hope" use "desire."

≫ MAKE SURE ITS SHORT AND SIMPLE. Sometimes I see books with a whole chapter written on the description. Which in all honesty, many people, don't want to read all of that.

≫ And of course, check your spelling, grammar, capitalization, etc. Don't use "ur" or "wht" use the actual full word, or people won't take it seriously.
