The sky was colored grey with dark storm clouds as the heaven's rain pattered on the ground and poured in a steady fall from the sky. Outside of a shopping mall red flashing lights shined and people were gathered around one of the entrances wondering why police weren't letting anyone in. Inside the mall, the people who were inside were talking with the police and at one of the stores on the upper floors had one of its windows smashed outwards and glass covered the walkway all the way to the railing that peered over to the lower floor of the mall. Akane was sat in a chair with her head down and bangs hiding her face as Suzu, Lily, Ume, Kimura, Aiko and Rin were all sat a table away with worried and scared looks. Akane's hands shook and a trickle of blood fell from her face as she turned her hands to look at her palms. Blood was smeared and stained on her skin as her eyes were wide in shock and a small splash of blood was smeared across her left cheek. Lily walked over and placed a hand on Akane's back while speaking something to her, but Akane couldn't hear anything but ringing in her ears. Flashing in her mind, was the image of you laid in her arms. More images flashed in her mind as she recalled pulling her hand from your head and blood pooling in her palm. Then the last thing she could remember was you looking up at her with blood flowing from your nose as you smiled at her with a caring smile. 

"Are you okay...?" Those words echoed through her mind as she was thrown into turmoil.

Akane looked like she was going to lose her mind as tears poured down her face and as she had more tears fall from her face, the harsher the weather became outside and the rain came down harder with the winds picking up intensely. Standing up from her seat, Akane began walking to the escalators to head up to the exit as Lily called out to her. Nothing was reaching Akane as she walked out of the exit and into the rain without an umbrella or jacket.

"Y/N..." Akane walked with great haste as she ground her teeth together and curled her fists tightly as she followed the sound of sirens of an ambulance leaving the area. "Why...did all of this happen...?!" She thought in frustration as she racked her brain trying to figure what they did to deserve what happened today.

Akane was sat at her seat listening to music looking out the window as she watched the rain clouds form in the sky and rain begin to drizzle down to the earth. It was lunch break and you were all sat near the window talking up a storm, being a bit loud as well with your friends Kimura and Aiko both coming over from their class to hangout. Whilst she was lost in her thoughts however, a piece f tempura was suddenly moved into her field of vision as she turned to her right to see Aiko offering it to her.

"Huh?" Akane asked in confusion as she removed her earphones.

"You want a piece? It's really delicious." Aiko offered her a piece as Akane just shook her head and Aiko put the tempura back on her bento. "What kind of music are you listening to? It must be nice if you can stare out at the rain like that. I like music I can listen to while its raining." She said as Akane glanced down at her phone, before flipping it to hide the screen.

"I-It's nothing, you probably wouldn't really enjoy it..." Akane said while turning her face away.

"My taste in music would probably surprise you if you could hear it right now." Aiko said as Akane turned towards her to see a kind smile on her face. "Can I take a quick listen?" She asked while holding out her hand as Akane stared at her for a moment before deciding to take a risk.

"Y-Yeah..." Akane answered as she handed over her left earbud and kept her right one in as Aiko plugged the left one into her left ear.

Turning her phone back over, Akane pressed the play button and resumed the song. Feeling nervous about how she would react, Akane was prepared to have Aiko immediately hand over the earbud back, and making up some kind of nice way of saying her taste in music was weird. However, the longer and longer she waited, that moment never came as Akane turned her head to see Aiko had her eyes closed and a smile on her face as she seemed to be really enjoying the music. Akane was surprised by the reaction she was seeing, and once the music ended, Aiko opened her eyes and smiled widely as she spoke up.

"I know this song." Aiko said as Akane was even more surprised that she knew the origin of this musical piece. "I really love this song. It makes me wanna be cuddled up with my boyfriend and just never let him go." She said while resting her head on her hands that were propped up by her elbows.

"You have a boyfriend, Aiko?" Akane asked as Aiko glanced over at Kimura who was making funny faces with you and entertaining Suzu and Ume.

"Well, I hope I still do. Because he occasionally likes to mess with me by flirting with his childhood friend. What a scum, huh?" Aiko said with a small giggle as she stared longingly at Kimura as Akane was surprised to learn that she and him were dating.

"I-I see..." Was all Akane could muster to say as Aiko turned towards her.

"Hey, Akane. Do you play games?" Aiko asked as Akane tried to figure out what she meant by 'games'.

"Huh? Games?" Akane asked to make sure she knew what she was talking about.

"Yeah, videogames." Aiko said as Akane nodded.

"Y-Yeah, I like playing games." Akane answered as Aiko leaned closer to her.

"Really? Cool, I play games, also. What kind of games do you play?" Aiko asked as you stopped listening to Kimura's antics and looked to see the two girls conversing.

You were surprised when you saw Aiko talking up a storm to Akane, but what shocked you even more was how Akane was beginning to get into the conversation she was having. A smile formed on your face when Aiko started laughing and Akane also managed to crack a smile as the two girls continued their talk about things they liked. After an enjoyable lunch break, class resumed and you all continued your studies throughout the hours of school before the time for classes had came to an end. You and Kimura left ahead of the girls to grab some umbrellas from the lost and found and waited for them in front of the shoe lockers as Rin, Ume, Akane, and Aiko who decided that she and Kimura would join you guys, would join your group to the mall as you all shared umbrellas and headed to the train station to head back and grab Lily. You and Akane were sharing an umbrella and walked behind your friends as nothing was spoken between you two. Akane wasn't sure if she should say anything to make their situation any less weird, but as she glanced over at you, she noticed that water falling from the umbrella was pouring onto your shoulder. Looking at the tool covering you and her from the rain, she saw that you had it more positioned to protect her from the rain than yourself, and feeling bad that you were putting her ahead of yourself, made her do another thing she couldn't imagine herself doing before. Your arm was suddenly tugged on and you looked over to see Akane had her arms wrapped around yours and she pulled you further under the umbrella.

"This is...just so you don't catch a cold or something..." Akane said with a blush on her face as she hugged you tighter, making you tense up.

"Huh? Y-Yeah...Thanks..." You said with a flustered look on your face as two girls walking in the opposite direction on the same path noticed you two.

"Hey, those two look cute. Like a couple from an anime, huh?" You heard one of the girls say as the blush on your face spread all over.

"Right? He's cute also, what a lucky girl." The other girl's friend said as Akane's blush also spread all over her face as the two of you walked strangely feeling awkward from those comments.

After getting to the train station and waiting to catch the next ride, you texted Lily that you were all on the way to meet up with her. A few moments later, Lily replied that she was ready with a smiley emoji and thumbs up emoji as you smiled and put your phone away when you heard the train arrive. You and your group occupied a bench as all the girls took the seats while you and Kimura both stood up holding onto the hand straps above. You were all talking about things to do once you got to the mall and after a few minutes, the train had reached the next station and on came Lily as she walked in with a newly bought umbrella she didn't have when she left that morning.

"Hello, everyone." Liky greeted everyone as she walked over to you guys.

"You were able to get an umbrella, that's a relief. I was worried that you'd walked through the rain without one." You said as she stood next to you, while Ume and Aiko were both stunned at how beautiful she was. "Ume, Kimura, Aiko, this is our older sister, Lily." You said as Lily waved at them.

"Nice to meet you all." Lily said as Aiko was the first to reply to her.

"Wow, all of Y/N's new sisters are really pretty. I wish I was as pretty as you guys." Aiko sulked in her seat.

"No way! You're look really cute!" Lily said to try and reassure her as Ume patted Aiko on the head.

"Yeah, you're the most adorable of the group, Aiko." Ume said as Aiko looked up at Ume with hopeful eyes. "Like a little kid we like to tease~!" Ume gave an toothy grin with a little giggle.

"That's not the kind of adorable I wanna be!" Aiko began to cry as you all panicked trying to get her to calm her down.

The train ride to the station near the mall was a bit chaotic in your car as you all talked and joked around while trying to not disturb anyone else in the train car. After a few more minutes or riding through the city, the steel contraption you were all riding slowed to a stop and you saw that you all made it to the stop you needed to get to. Piling out with the rest of the civilians you all pulled out your umbrellas and once again embarked through the rain. You were about to tell Ume to stand under your umbrella since she was next to you, but you felt a tug on your right arm again and looked to see Akane holding your sleeve. She had a bashful look on her face as you also grew a blush across your cheeks and raised the umbrella over you two as Ume was offered to share an umbrella with Suzu. The rain was still pouring at a gentle pace as you all walked at a steady pace towards a tall and long building that you knew was the mall and after using a large crosswalk to get to the other side of the street, you made it to the entrance of the mall as you all put your umbrellas away and walked through the sliding doors. Walking further inside, Lily and her sisters were surprised by how vast the layout of the mall was. There were three floors to the mall and you were all stood on the second floor as loads of people walked the pathways to visit different stores. 

"Awesome~! This is larger than the mall back at our old place." Suzu said as she looked up and down at all the different shops like a little kid in a candy store.

"Ume, Kimura, Aiko..." You spoke up as they all turned to see you standing next to Lily as the two of you were away from the group. "I'm gonna show Lily to some of the places that might want her for work. Can ya show those two around the mall? We'll meet at Serena's in maybe an hour since that's the last spot on the list I wanna show Lily." You said as you and your older sister walked to the escalators going down.

"Huh? Serena's? You sure?" Ume asked as you just waved your hand and made her sigh. "Haahhh, well I guess we have our plans. Come on, my cute children, let's go find somewhere for you to play." Ume said while ushering her group along in the other direction.

Whilst they were heading off to try and find something to do, your two sisters and friends were unaware of a shady figure that was staring at them from a distance before heading and following the same path they took. Your friends took Akane and Suzu to various different shops, ranging from clothing stores, to manga cafe's, arcades, and even a store that frequents cosplayers who are searching for materials for their next costumes. Akane was actually enjoying herself more than she thought, but there was a strange and unnerving feeling that was burning the back of her neck as if someone was staring at them intently. She would look back to see if anyone was looking at them, but no one stood out as suspicious to her and she played it off as being paranoid from doing something she normally doesn't do. About an hour had passed and your friends were leading your sisters to the place you called 'Serena's', and once they reached the store, Suzu had a surprised face and Akane had questioning look on hers as it was revealed that Serena's was a women's lingerie and undergarments store. 

"Y/N wants to meet us...here?" Akane said with a suspiciously raised brow.

"I heard that Y/N's mom worked here for some time before and he stopped by occasionally whenever he wanted to visit her. He probably wanted to show Lily this place as a potential job." Ume said before walking in. "Come on, let's see if you guys will find something that you think is cute." Ume said as she walked in with great composure while Aiko, Akane, and Suzu were all flustered. 

"Huh? W-W-W-We're gonna buy something? This looks a bit more suited f-f-f-for adults, no?" Aiko was a stuttering mess while looking at all the suggestive lingerie and her eyes were spinning with a flustered look on her face.

"W-W-W-Well, we are high schoolers after all. What's a lil' l-l-l-looksie gonna hurt? Let's g-g-g-g-gooo~!" Suzu stuttered her words with the same expression on her face.

The group entered the lingerie shop and Kimura went to stare at a wall to try and not be noticeable to the other women in the store. The girls would look around to see if there was anything that caught their eye, but their expressions were all over the place. Ume acted like a normal woman shopping for something she liked, Suzu and Aiko were both acting like embarrassed kids who didn't know how suggestive these pieces of clothing looked, and Akane just seemed a bit more confused as to why some of the pieces of undergarments looked like they wouldn't even cover anything. While wandering around the store, Aiko had wandered off on her own to a more tame part of the store and was looking around at a section that had some cute short-shorts that she thought she could wear at home. However, as she was looking, a dirty hand had suddenly placed itself on her mouth and she felt someone aggressively press up against her and press something against her side.

"Say anything, and I'll stab you with this knife in my pocket. Got it?" The voice sounded of a raspy man as Aiko began to cry and was too scared to move because of the threat. "Ahhhh, you smell nice~ Such a nice body too..." The man spoke in a disgusting tone as his other hand began to trail up Aiko's shirt. "Let's go a quieter corner of this place." The pervert said before pulling Aiko off to a secluded corner of the store.

While Aiko had disappeared from the more open view of the store, Akane was at one of the ends looking at some bras she thought would be okay to get for herself. While putting one of them away, she noticed movement in her peripheral vision and turned to see something too shocking for words. Akane turned to see Aiko being molested by a man in a dirty clothing and the pervert was feeling Aiko all over, groping her chest and even sniffing her. Akane felt her heart race with fear and her breath hitched as she had flashbacks to the incident she had been in. In that moment when she saw Aiko's tear hit the floor, that was the last thing to push Akane over the edge as she opened her mouth with all her strength to speak.

"AIKO!!!!!!!!" Akane yelled at the top of her lungs as everyone in the store was startled and Kimura ran towards the voice when he heard his girlfriend's name.

"Akane! What's wrong--!" Kimura stopped speaking when he saw the pervert had frozen in shock of being caught and Aiko was crying in his grasp.

"K-Kimura...help..." Aiko cried as after another tear hit the floor, Kimura had already appeared in front of the pervert with a killer look on his face.

"YOU BASTARD!!!!!" Kimura screamed at the top of his lungs in anger as the pervert let Aiko go and tried to run away. 

Kimura caught up to the pervert with ease as he grabbed him by the collar of his jacket and the two of them tripped on each other, running through the window display of the store and falling onto the pathway outside. People screamed and jumped away when the two broke through the glass and they struggled on the ground before Kimura managed to get up. Kimura grabbed the man and lifted his head up before punching him across the face, sending him stumbling backwards and crashing against the railing. The pervert struggled to find his balance as Kimura advanced and began viciously beating the pervert. Ume ran out of the store with Suzu and Rin to see how they could help, but when they did, the man actually had pulled out a knife he had in his pocket.

"SHIT!" Rin ran off to try and help Kimura. 

"KIMURA HE HAS A KNIFE!!" Ume screamed in horror.

"LOOK OUT!!!!!!" Suzu yelled as she was about to run forward.

Before she could take another step, a blur had run pass her and everyone was shocked when you had suddenly appeared, grabbing the pervert's arm that held the knife and smashing it against the railing. You kneed the pervert's arm and made him drop the knife while crying out in pain, but as the three of you were leaning heavily on the rail, the glass attached to the rail smashed and the railing broke as everyone yelled in horror that you three were gonna fall. Realizing what was about to happen, you used your right leg to kick Kimura in his side and away as he watched in terror as you went over the edge with the pervert.

"Y/N!!!!" Kimura yelled while trying to reach out to you.

Akane was on her knees with Aiko trying to comfort her, but still managed to see what happened outside through the broken window as she watched you go over the edge. Akane was beyond terrified as and couldn't believe what she had seen, but was shaken back to her senses when Aiko suddenly stood up. 

"No! Y/N!" Aiko cried out as she tripped when trying to run after you.

"Aiko!" Akane knelt down by her side as Aiko grabbed her by the shoulder.

"Akane, go...!" Aiko said as Akane was shocked when she saw the scared look in her teary eyes. "Help Y/N...!" She cried out as Akane scrambled to her feet and ran after you.

Back To Present Time

After figuring out from a police officer where the nearest hospital was to the mall, Akane trudged through the heavy pouring rain to try and follow where the ambulance went. Her clothes were beyond soaked and her hair was covering her face as she splashed through water that was almost ankle high. Not being able to see the sidewalk clearly due to the water pooling below, Akane tripped on a piece of uneven pavement and fell in the water. Thunder clapped in the air as Akane pushed herself up to her knees and below her was her own image in the water being reflected by the surrounding lights. The image slowly faded and turned into your injured face as Akane balled her fists tightly and yelled as she slashed the water with her hands and broke the image. Gathering strength she didn't realize she had, Akane pushed herself to her feet and ran as fast as she could through the rain and after running down a few more streets, she saw the hospital and the end of the road where an ambulance had just pulled in. The doors to the hospital reception opened and the nurse turned to see who came in, but everyone in the reception room was surprised by Akane entering the room all soaked and a bit dirty. 

"Miss...are you okay?" A nurse came over to check on Akane as another one came and wrapped a blanket around her. 

"Where is Y/N L/N...He should have just arrived in an ambulance..." Akane said as another nurse brought a towel to dry off Akane's hair.

"Let's dry you off first, okay?" The nurse helping her said, but Akane shook her head. 

"I-I'm his sister--I mean s-step-sister...I wanna see him..." Akane said with a shiver as the nurses knew she was beyond cold and they took her temperature to see she was beginning to run fever.

"Honey, okay, I will help you find Y/N, but first we need to get you out of these clothes and get you warm okay? Can we do that?" The nurse said as Akane's head began to hurt and she collapsed to her knees. "Miss?!" The nurse fell to her knees with Akane.

"Get a gurney, and more blankets! And get some heaters ready!" The reception nurse said as one of her aids rushed off.

"I-I-I just...I just wanna see him..." Akane began to cry as she remembered seeing you fall and get hurt. "I wanna see...Y/N...!" Akane whimpered as she leaned into the nurse and began cry as the nurse hugged her to warm her up and also calm her down. "Why...Why did he have to get hurt...?"  Akane whimpered as this day that was supposed to be a fun day out with friends, turned into a terrible nightmare.
