Dev and Sonakshi were sitting in the room trying to put adhya back to sleep but failed miserably
"Adhya sleep na"
" Adhya want to play "
"Adhya it is midnight time to sleep na"
"No adhyaa want to play. Tomorrow papa holiday . tomorrow Mumma holiday. "  Saying so she started throwing toys at them
" Ok ok tell papa what adhya wants to play"
" Adhya want to play catch me if you can"
"Ok but only once and promise Mumma you will sleep after that"
"Ok "
They clear the room and make some space to play .
"Adhya is it"
"Ok"
" But run slow no fast"
"Ok baby"
Adhya starts running after Dev while  While running Sona bumps into Dev and falls down . Her head hits the  corner of the table and blood starts to ooze out
"Sonakshi are you ok"
"Yes"
Adhya a was watching this . Dev makes sona sit on the bed and was about to bring the first aid box when adhya bring the box and hands it over to Dev.
"Adhya is sorry. Adhya not know that Mumma fall . Mumma fall adhya mistake " and she starts crying. Sona takes her in her arms and wipes the tears
"No baby it's not your mistake. While playing everyone gets hurt"
"Really  how Mummaa know"
"Yes . When I was of your age I used to run and your grandpa used to catch me. Once while playing in the park he fell down  and I thought it was my fault and  a I started to cry and do you know what he said" she nods her head negatively
" he said that while playing everyone gets hurt ."
"Oh so dadu told Mumma this "
"Yes "
Meanwhile Dev applies a bandage to Sona
"Mumma adhya want to go to washroom"

"Then go"
" Dev she is two years old she needs company . Now let me go with her"
Saying so she stands up and goes with her the washroom. Adhya does her stuff and comes out .
" Now adhya look we have played so now let's sleep like you promised "
" Ok"
Dev and Sona laid on either side of adhya keeping their hands on her tummy and all three dose off.

The next morning:
" Sona why are you wearing a raincoat?"
"You will get to know soon"
"Huh"
"Adhya come na. You need a bath"
" No adhya not bathing adhya no like water"
"Adhya please"
"No "
" Fine" saying so she started running behind adhya. Dev who was watching this while typing on his lappy was laughing.finally she gets hold of her and forcefully takes her in the bathroom for a bath. She locks the door and turns towards her
" Now where will you go??"
Adhya looks at her and then the bath tub just then Sona puts her in the water and gives her a bath.
After a while :
" Adhya come out na "
"No adhya love water . Adhya not coming out"
"Adhyaa before you were saying you hated it and now .. please come out . Look Mumma has lot of work to do , please come out"
"No"
"Adhya"
She says a little loud
"Mumma " she says immitating her
That's it sona takes her out forcefully while she kicks and splashes water everywhere drenching Sona from head to toe. Soon she wraps the towel around her and takes her out and places her on the bed. Dev was shocked to see her drenched.  keeping his lappy aside he asked Sona -
"Sona were you having a bath or her" and started to laugh while Sona gave an angry glare to him
" She was but she drenched me"
"Huh"
" She started splashing water everywhere as she did not want to come out"
" But she did not like water na"
" She is like you she does not stick to one decision.  She keeps changing" saying so she starts to grab adhya when
" Adhya "
She appears with a mug of water from the bathroom and pours it on Dev
" It not fair Mumma adhya wet and papa dry na" and she started laughing
This time it was her time to laugh . Dev got up and appeared with another mug of water and poured it  on Sonakshi and started to laugh too . The room turned into a water park. Adhya was sitting on the bed and watching her parents pour water on each other when
" Mumma papa " she shouted and they froze at their places
" Mumma say no water play in house and now Mumma papa playing . Not fair"
Dev and Sona realised what she meant and quickly stopped what they were doing and tried to make adhya wear her clothes. After another half an hour they were finally able to make her wear the clothes.

Soon Sona handed adhya's lunch to Dev
" Dev can you feed her i have some work downstairs I will be back in five mins then I will take charge"
Saying so she left without hearing the reply
Dev placed adhya on his lap and tries feeding her the dal and rice
" Adhya eat by herself "
" Baby you will not be able to"
" Yes I will" saying so she took the bowl and tried holding it but the bowl slipped and all the food went all over devs laps . Adhya looked at the mess and then Dev and then an idea struck her mind. She took a handful of rice and applied it in his hair
"Adhya what is this"
" Masti time" saying so she kept taking handfuls of rice and applying it in his hair.
Soon Sonakshi returned and saw Dev sitting in a mess and adhya painting his nails with various paints. She understood what happens and took charge. She lifted adhya despite the protests and signalled Dev to go and clean up. She called the server and made him clean the mess
"Adhya look this is bad manners na "
" Adhya looked at her and said
" Sorry Mumma"
"Don't say sorry to me say it to papa"
Dev came out and adhya jumped of her laps and stood infront of Dev holding her ears
"Sorry papa"
She said with a cute pout which Dev could not resist and he picked her up and kisses her nose
". It's ok princess."
Soon it was bedtime and adhya was asleep . Dev and Sona slid in with her and also slept
At night Dev could feel soft kicks on his head . He opened his eyes and saw adhya's head of. Sonakshi's chest and her feet in his direction kicking him. It was the first time that he realised what parenting was.

Nobody new time would fly so quickly
  Adhya was now 13 years old . She had grown up into a very mature intelligent and sensible girl. All her mischiefs had come to an end and now Dev and Sona missed it. They missed the time they spent when she was young. At first when they had the time they were fed up but now when the time was over they missed it. But soon the time ended and they were blessed with a young boy , aarav who was now three year old and was just like his sister . Cute mischevious and caring.
Now all three of them would sit together and enjoy all the mischiefs created by him.
