Christmas Day

"Wake up wake up wake up!"

Jack groaned softly as he rolled over away from the noise, falling off of the couch he was sleeping on in the process and hitting the floor face first with a loud bang that echoed throughout the house.

Jackaboy-Man was sitting on the top of the couch like a cat, the hero sheepishly hopping off of his perch to help Jack up.

"Top of the morning to ya." Jack mumbled sleepily as he rubbed his eyes with one hand, Jackaboy-Man taking his other hand and pulling him to his feet.

"Ugh, so much for beauty sleep." Roman complained from where he was sleeping on the floor on a pile of blankets, Logic stirring awake next to him while Patton excitedly jumped to his feet and Virgil groggily hid his face with his arm.

"Good morning Jack!" Mark called out from Jack's bedroom, Amy and Mark both walking out of the room along with Wilford.

"G'morning!" Thomas chirped happily as he left Jack's recording room, Schneep, Anti, Marvin, Chase, JJ, and Robbie following him out.

"I'm surprised everyone even fit in my house." Jack remarked as he sat on the couch, Anti sitting next to him with a wince as he carefully adjusted the position of his sling.

"How's the shoulder and torso feeling?" Jack asked the brown haired demon.

"Could be better." Anti stated through gritted teeth, Robbie curling up at the demon's feet while Marvin walked up to him.

"Here, let me help." Marvin offered gently as he held his wand next to Anti's injured shoulder, light green magic swirling around Anti before abruptly disappearing as soon as it had come.

"Thanks." Anti nodded in appreciation, removing the sling and tossing it across the room.

"You can do magic?!" Patton gasped in awe as he darted over to Marvin, the parental figure looking at the magician with wide eyes.

"Please, science is more impressive." Schneep and Logan replied in unison, the pair looking over at each other with surprised expressions before launching into an excited conversation about famous scientists that Jack couldn't even attempt to understand.

"Alright, if we're doing presents now, I'll pass them out." Jack spoke up, going underneath the tree and pulling presents out.

"How did you know that we'd be here on Christmas?" Chase interjected, Jack's expression shifting slightly.

"I just...I hoped you guys would since I didn't want to be alone." Jack admitted, tossing Chase a wrapped box with a blue bow on top.

"Also, I took the liberty of going out with Thomas early this morning to get gifts for you guys too." Jack told the Sander sides to change the subject, handing each of them a present.

"It's the gift that keeps on giving!" Patton exclaimed as he sat on the floor next to Jack and his counterparts.

"Jack, Christmas isn't easy for a lot of us. I'm just glad that you allowed us all to come here." Marvin spoke up, everyone else nodding in agreement.

Jack was uncharacteristically silent as he handed out the rest of the presents, the Irishman lost in thought.

"Hey Jack, um, you okay?" Thomas chimed in, nudging Jack lightly on the arm.

"Yeah, I just feel bad about Dark being alone in the demon dimension. I mean, I get it that he's a demon, but..." Jack trailed off, shaking his head.

"Anyway, lets-"

"I gotta go do something, I'll be right back!" Mark interrupted, darting into Jack's room and shutting the door behind him before Jack could question what he was doing.

"Okay then." Jack muttered, Amy looking just as confused as the Irishman and everyone else felt.

"I'm not fucking drunk enough for this." Chase stated, the male standing up to go to the kitchen.

"Hey, I have already told you zhat you should not drink!" Schneep scolded, grabbing Chase's arm.

"Ho ho ho!"

Jack's attention snapped to the door as it slammed open, Mark stepping inside dressed as Santa Claus with a large bag slung over his back.

"The fuck are you doing Mark?" Anti questioned, Jack doing his best to stifle a snicker as he stood up.

"Hey there 'Santa', have you brought us any gifts?" Jack asked, playing along.

"For some of you, yes." Santa nodded, his chocolate brown eyes scanning the crowd.

"For Chase," Santa started, handing him a folded up piece of paper.

"A phone number?" Chase murmured with a confused frown, looking up from the paper at Santa.

"Call it later tonight." Santa instructed with a wink, Chase shrugging as he stuck it in his pocket.

"For Schneeplestien,"

Santa dug through his sack and gave Schneep an envelope, the German carefully opening it and sliding out a piece of paper.

"Ich glaub mich knutscht ein Elch!" Schneep shouted excitedly in German, his eyes wide as he looked at the paper.

"Is that a good thing?" Marvin asked with a chuckle, Schneep holding up his gift for everyone to see.

"An official doctor's license." Jack whistled in amazement, the German's face lit up with a smile.

"Mark, how the hell did you get that?" Chase interjected.

"I'm not Mark, I'm Santa." Santa replied, stopping Chase from arguing as he moved on to the next person.

"For JJ, the man who can make everything," Santa continued, rummaging through his sack and retrieving a small box.

JJ took the gift and opened it, shooting Santa a confused look when he saw that nothing was inside.

"Say something." Santa directed, the mute hesitating before opening his mouth.

"Hello."

The dapper male's eyes widened as he placed a hand on his throat, Santa smiling as JJ hummed in content.

"Now it only lasts for today, but I thought you'd like it." Santa told JJ.

"That's...okay." JJ answered, a light Irish accent evident in his slightly raspy voice.

"Seriously, Who the fuck are you?!" Anti shouted, storming over to Santa.

"Woah woah woah, if you want your gift, I'd be nicer." Santa warned the demon.

"Gift? I got a gift?" Anti repeated.

"Of course! Now it was difficult to get exactly what you wanted, but I hope you like it." Santa ramble, sifting through his bag once more.

"Get me out of this fucking bag!"

Santa dragged Dark out of his bag by the collar of his suit, the dark haired demon slapping Santa's hand away from him.

"Anti? You're okay!" Dark sighed in relief, pulling the other demon into his arms for a hug.

"I thought you had-never understood what I thought, I'm just glad that you're safe." Dark admitted.

"Dark is just a big ol' teddy bear." Santa remarked, the demon turning to face him with a scowl.

"Oh shut up Santa." Dark sneered, his face blushing a light red hue.

"Wait, he's really Santa?" Patton whispered hopefully.

"He's a different version of Mark from a different dimension, just like me. In his dimension, he is Santa and Jack's alternate version is like Jack Frost." Dark explained, shooting a glare at the male.

"Sorry I had to go, my mom was call-"

Mark broke off when he returned to the room, the YouTuber looking between Santa and Dark.

"Speaking of my dimension, I should probably get going. Before I do, here is everyone else's gifts." Santa spoke up, handing Thomas and his counterparts gifts, as well as Robbie, Jack, Amy, Mark, and Jackaboy-Man.

"Do I get something this year Santa?" Wilford asked, the male shooting Santa his best puppy dog eyes.

"Ho ho ho no, you're on my naughty list for life for killing so many people." Santa stated sternly.

"Merry Christmas!" Santa exclaimed before leaving through the front door, his bag slung over his shoulder once more.

"Well that was fucking weird." Mark remarked as he returned to his seat next to Amy.

"He shouldn't of gotten me something though. The only thing I want is my family." Patton declared.

"I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit." Virgil mumbled under his breath, Anti and Dark adding their agreement.

Throughout the rest of the day, everyone finished opening presents and talked, even Virgil, Dark, and Anti much to the group's surprise.

They were all connected and different, but they were also something much stronger.

They were family.
