She stood shyly behind her father. The man only stood with a grim look on his face. It had been his permanent facial expression. It wasn't a surprise as he'd come to this place with the intention of talking about his wife's health.
He was hoping that they could help in some way, according to the well-known equipment they've got here.
They had been experimenting on cloning people. They were discussing about and Jude had been in conflict about cloning his wife.
"You're saying the plan is to dissect the clone of my wife... to find the problem more easily."
"Not exactly dissect, but run test on the clone as the replica would have even cloned the disease."
Eyebrows creased with a look of irritation. Albeit, he was considering it and that was one reason why he was irritated. Why would he agree to such a sickening thing? He knew his wife was gravely sick and even at that she wouldn't want such a way to be treated.
That clone was human too.
Yet at every check-up from across the globe he'd learned to become inhumane at situations.
Now he was considering it and he hated himself for thinking of this test.
He sighed and looked at the disturbed child holding tight onto his pants. "Let's discuss this in private, please," he said.
The young blonde child knew what that meant.
It meant she would have to stay behind, while the grown-ups talk. Grown-up time. That was what her mother and father called it.
There were times when she had to leave them alone to have that time.
She'd gotten used to it to an extent that she knew when to leave at a young age.
The man her father was talking to glanced at her, making her flinch. There was a look she saw in a split second - disgust.
Immediately, she felt uncomfortable by the man - even though that look disappeared as if it weren't there in the first place. Maybe he thought that she was a disgrace to her family; she heard he was power crazy from her father. Her father warned her about his family.
He said that if they ever do anything to her she should use her status to scare them.
The scary man nodded looking away from her. "Of course, sir. Let us go then," he said and then he called one of his men, "Take her to the other kids then."
"Yes, sir." The man done just as told without any other words. She grew even more uneasy, let alone comfortable.
Well, she wasn't comfortable in the first place.
Her mother was dying as well. It created a downcast mindset for the young blonde girl.
It wasn't long after she heard a few whispers and the man in an odd uniform stopped leading her.
"Jeez, why is father being so nice to that man."
Whispers were heard. Maybe they were generally unaware of her presence. It seemed so. It was hard to believe such a thing, because she heard that man's children were incredibly gifted. Incredibly gifted and dangerously strong.
That was the whole reason of her father telling her to use her status power. She might've been weak compared to them, but apparently she had all rights to order others to even kill someone of even ranks of Celestial Dragons.
That was a high status, indeed.
One of the boys noticed her presence when she was in close proximity. She quickly bowed nervously. "Hello. My name is Lucy." She was glanced at each one them. They had a certain main color in their clothing style. Quite colourful to say the least.
Most of them didn't react much, only permanent frowns.
The stares made her uncomfortable.
When she noticed the one on the far left, she figured he was just as uneasy as she was. They even shared the same blond hair; his was a shade brighter, though.
"I didn't ask for your name," the radiant-blue haired quipped. He didn't seem to have hate in it - just bluntness.
The other two with just as radiant colored hair - red and green - smirked.
We're they enjoying her unease. She heard there was a word for that, sadis-something? It was creepy.
She sucked in a breath before exhaling in attempt to calm her mountain sized nerves. Lucy tried to approach again, "I would like to know your names, though?"
One of them parted his lips to make a remark, but his actions were cut off by a young girl with a bright pink shade of hair. She looked around Lucy's age as the boys looked fairly young.
Next to their sister - Lucy presumed - was one of the soldiers. He looked quite similar to the last one.
"Sir has called all his children for a private meeting," he announced.
They complied within in seconds, obediently. As if forgetting about everything just now. In result she was left alone with a soldier once again. Albeit, her father might've been done with his own little meeting if they were going to have a meeting.
Father probably made a decision fast.
They all made their way to their father, walking away.
What she didn't expect was the blonde from before who didn't just leave without a word. He was shy and a tint of pink on his cheeks. "I'm Sanji. Nice to meet you Lucy." after that he scurried away as if his life depended on it.
She smiled at his leaving figure.

The big built blonde stared at each one of his four boys. He looked very solemn. More than usual.
His daughter stayed by his side seemingly not involved much with what was going to be said.
"As you know, we have visitors on our island. They are what you can call very important. We'd come to terms to help each other in both ways. He could be a very valuable asset to us and gaining more power. And to do that, we must bring some way to bring the two families together. This is out only chance to do so," he explained.
"Father," the green haired boy known as Yonji raised a eyebrow, "I do not understand."
The man put it in simple words. "I want one of you four, specifically the three of you to marry Jude's daughter," he explained slowly walk up to the four boys. His eyes mostly focused on the two older brothers - Ichiji and Niji - and the youngest brother, Yonji.
The boys were quite young when their father explained. That being said they were confused. Sanji on the other than was confused and shocked. An arranged marriage with that nice girl from before.
She seemed really nice and that made everything even more complicated.
What if she ends up being like his siblings? One more person to bully him then. His father was mostly counting on his brothers, so he was about of the competition before it even began.
Sanji was quiet throughout the whole discussion. Even when they walk fright out the doors out of their makeshift meeting room.
The boys were chatting amongst themselves, while his sister only made comments here and there.
"Seriously. We have to make her trust us? I don't understand any of this marriage business!" Yonji said.
Reiju answered with: "It is father's orders. You must do this. Of course you wouldn't understand as you are the youngest."
She snapped he head towards the blue haired boy, "I think you might have a disadvantage though, Niji."
"What? Why?"
"That remark from before when you spoke bluntly to her. Of course you were oblivious to this," the pink haired girl, Reiju, reckoned. She wasn't quite interested in their conversations, but she couldn't help but point it out.
It was foolish to be rude one of their fathers guests. They should know by know any guest that dared step foot here and their father allows it are important people.
"Yes, of course. We were meant for combat and missions not emotional happenings." the oldest boy, Ichiji said while shrugging.
"Though if you must who would you think that girl would choose?"
"Father seems to favour Ichiji because his the oldest. I heard she is close to my age."
"Does the age really matter?"
"I don't know."
"Exactly then anyone of us could not just Ichiji! Right Yonji?!" he exclaimed with an evident scowl.
That's where the competition started and Sanji was put into a chaotic mess he couldn't quite grip on.
