You have just started  a relationship with God.

God your Father, while you are His adopted child

As of now, you're liken as a babe in Christ.

Like all babies, who need milk to survive, you too needs milk!

And according to the bible,
it is God's word.

As new born babe,
desire the sincere milk
of the Word,
that ye may grow thereby.
(1Peter 2:1)

So, for you to grow,  as a child of God, you have to read the bible. God's word is our spiritual food.

Matthew 4:4
But he (Jesus) answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God. (Bible)

Well there are, easy and difficult verses. Start with the easy to understand.
The book of John or Proverbs or Psalms.

Say one chapter or a few verses a day.

Don't worry if you think you can't understand it.
When you were spiritually born, God quickened your spirit, the Holy  Spirit of God lives in you now.

He will enlighten you and give to the necessary wisdom to understand.

Just pray for wisdom.

James 1:5
If any of you lack wisdom,
let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraided not; and
it shall be given him.

God reveals his truth to those who sincerely seek Him.

You will surely understand!
