Part 76

Manik says about the bet between him and Maddy .......Chachi Chandu Ajay laughs loudly ....cabir Arya are hiding nandu behind them ....and are happy seeing manik smile.......

Chachi : you three left all of a sudden .....

Manik: three ???????

Chachi : I met Maddy in one party ...
today I met you. .....but nandu left without even informing me ...and never came ....Meri beti Kaise hae kaha hae....I don't even know ......

Chachi says crying ....manik holds her tight ......

Nandu comes out from behind them and hugs Chachi from back ......Chachi just breaks the hug with manik and turns back to see nandu .....Chachi hugs nandu tightly and than both of them cried their heart out ........rest all became emotional seeing them ... 

Chandu : floods. ..floods....floods....she started shouting .....

Everyone are looking at her in shock ....

Cabir : floods.....kaha hae ......

Chandu : if these two continue to cry floods hi auyenge na .....

Everyone laughed listening to her ......

Chachi : kaha ho tum ....kabhi Chachi ki yaad nahi ayi .......

Nandu : maa ko koi bul sakta hae Kya ....

Chachi : ye sindoor mangalsutra ......

Nandu : I'm married Chachi .....

Chachi : mujhe bulana zaroori nahi samjha ....she asked seriously ....

Nandu : vo....main.....nandu shuttered not knowing what to say ....

Manik immediately side hugged her ....

Manik : Chachi we both got married long back ......you won't bless us .....

Chachi : you married manik ....she asked in happiness ......

Nandu nodes in yes than Chachi puts her both hands on both their heads and blessed them....also kissed both their foreheads and hugged them.....

Than they all sat together and had good coffee made by Chachi and met rishab and chachu ....and also Ajay family .....even cabir Arya mingled with them happily .....

After spending some good time with Iyer family .....Malhotra brothers and nandu returned back home after dinner ......

Cabir and Arya left to their room ...
Manan are in their room ....Manik is just starting at the ceiling ....

Nandu completed all her works and reached their room to see manik in another world ...she slowly slide beside him and rested her head on his chest .....manik came out of his trance and pulled her close to him ......

Nandu just signalled him to switch off  the light ....and manik did it .....

Nandu : manu ...you need to sleep ....

Manik didn't say anything .....

Nandu : I know it's hard....but you have an interview scheduled for you tommorow morning .....if this how you gonna attend  it with  sleepy eyes they will judge your capability......will you ever allow a sleepy head in your company ...so you need to sleep. ...

Manik : biwi ....

Nandu : yes manu I'm here.... just here. .....saying she hugged him tight...
but manik shifted his head to her chest and hugged her tight in his embrace ......hiding him in her chest .,...nandu just held him like a baby .....

Manik : I will get a job na biwi .....

Nandu : ofcourse my manu....now you sleep ......

Manik : I'm not getting sleep....

Nandu : now you will get saying she kissed his forehead and started singing a Lauri for him and finally manik fell asleep ......

Nandu just admired her sleeping husband and unknowingly fell asleep .....

Next morning ....nandu woke up early and moved to kitchen and started making breakfast ... she also kept manik clothes and certificates everything ready for him to attend the interview.....

Finally she moved to their room and tied his tie for him and gave him all his certificates and wished him good luck by kissing his forehead ......

They both moved out of the room ....they saw Arya cabir also got ready and are checking some file ...

Nandu : good morning bachon .....

Arya : good morning maa ....

Cabir :maa....today we have interview.........

Nandu : even you both have interview....

Arya : maa....you don't need to work we are there na .....

Nandu : not me aru ....your Bhai .....

Arya /cabir : we will rock.....all the best Bhai .....

Even manik wished them by hugging them.....

Nandu : Chalo breakfast Karo...you guys need to leave ......

Than nandu also sat with them all had breakfast .....cabir Arya took the new bike and left to their interviews after eating dahi with sugar. ....even manik left taking the old bike ....after eating dahi sugar and kissing nandu forehead .....

Nandu than wrapped all her works and reached the cafe and started helping Chachi .......

But unknowingly she fell unconscious
Chandu Ajay Chachi rishab Ajay immediately carried her to the nearby hospital ....

Night in Murthy house ........

Nandu is just sitting on the couch ..
she just returned back from hospital .....Iyer family dropped her safely at home and left to their homes on request of nandu......

Cabir Arya returned back happily with smiling faces and saw nandu sitting on the couch by resting her back with closed eyes ......

They both moved to her and sat on either sides of nandu. .....she woke up  and smiled looking at both of them.....

Arya  just rested his head on nandu shoulder .....

Arya : good news maa I'm appointed as the junior doctor in city hospital ....
they shifted all my work to mangalore from Mumbai ....my sir helped me in this .....

Nandu : congratulations aru ....saying she kissed his forehead ....

Cabir : even I got job as RJ maa in radio City ......

Nandu: congratulations both of you ....we need to celebrate ....go fresh up I will make something to eat ...
manik will be here soon.....

They both left to fresh up .....but manik heard this conversation bcuz he just entered the house... after they both left to fresh up manik moved inside... he directly went to his room ignoring nandu who is watching him from the kitchen with a smile ......her smile faded when manik left without talking to her .......

She just placed everything on the dinning table and moved to see manik .....but when she went in she saw him sleeping without even changing his dress ......

She just checked his forehead but it's full of sweat she just cleaned it with her pallu ....and adjusted his pillow and removed his tie and moved to his legs and removed his shoes and socks .....and covered him with quilt and left the room after switching off the light.....

Nandu saw Arya cabir waiting for dinner she served them and told them she will eat with manik left to her  room to see him sleeping. ....she also slept beside him....

Next morning ......

Nandu woke up early but found the bed empty .....she moved out to see one bike missing ....she made breakfast and also packed lunch for both cabir and Arya they both left to their respective works  ...she left to cafe to work with Chachi ...... But still she is thinking of manik and his behaviour ......

It's been a week like this ......

Manik is all the time avoiding nandu and missing from home ......bcoz he is leaving early and coming late. ......
Cabir and Arya are continuously working so they didn't notice manik .......

But nandu is all the time missing her extra kid .....she is feeling lonely .....

Finally one night nandu just sat in the hall waiting for manik ......she is just starring at the door .....

After sometime manik walked in fully weak with  messed up hairs ....tie hanging freely...shirt sleeves folded up ....and shirt full of dirt .....

He didn't notice nandu in the hall...he straight away walked inside the room...but came out to reality when he didn't find nandu in the room.....he opened the door of the washroom but didn't find her ......

Than he turned back to see her closing the door of their room with a tray in hand......he sighed in relief and moved inside the washroom to fresh up ....

After fresh up ....he came out to see nandu still waiting for him with food ...but he just is about to move out .....nandu held his hand and stopped him ...

Nandu : manik dinner Karo. ....

Manik : I'm not hungry. ....

Nandu : I know you are hungry. .....
plzz eat....

Manik : leave me nandu ....

Nandu :what did you just say ????

Manik : I said leave me alone .....why the hell are you bent in making me eat something...do I look like a kid for you ...I can eat for myself. ...so plzz leave me alone. ......

Saying he just left the room in angry...
Nandu just stood still on her place .....
she has tears listening to him ...she sat on the floor and burst into tears and cried out.....she is just looking at the wall .....and looking at the frames which showed their smiling faces ......she cried more ......

Finally fell asleep unknowingly .......

Manik sat in the garden .......looking at the stars .......he just held his head in his hand and sat in silence ....after sometime he remembers that he got mad at nandu ......he cursed himself for shouting on her and moved inside to see her .....he reached his room to see her sitting on the floor near the bed.......with her face buried in her knees.......

He moved to her and sat beside her....and put his hand on her shoulder ....but nandu didn't even look at him. .......he slowly held her by shoulder and tried to pull her back to his arms. ...nandu woke up and looked at him....her eyes looked blood red....tears are still flowing from her eyes .......

He tried to rub them but she moved back ......turning her face to other side ...

Manik : biwi ....plzz ....

On listening this nandu cried more bcoz he called her nandu before. ....

Manik : I'm sorry ......I know I spoke shit. ....but you know na I'm your extra kid ......if I say something wrong will you leave me alone ......plzz talk to me. ....I'm really sorry .....I'm completely messed up that's y I'm running away bcoz I don't want to burst that angry on you . ..that's y I asked you to leave me  alone ....sorry biwi.....I'm really sorry....plzz look at me ......I know I hurt you .....you can hit me or scold me ....but plzz don't stop talking to me .....plzz biwi ....biwi ...plzz .....

He is pleading her a lot ....but nandu is still sitting in the same position......

Manik got no response from her ....so he just pulled her tight in his lap and hugged her tight  in his embrace.....she didn't move back but cried holding him tight. .......manik tightened his grip around her .......he is just kissing her forehead saying innumerable sorry .........

Nandu after crying for sometime...
looked at him to see him fully messed up .....manik kissed her forehead. ......
.and her both eyes ..... and cleaned her face and cupped it in his hands .....

Manik :I'm sorry biwi plzz don't leave me alone ....plzz....

Nandu : who is biwi????

Manik : what are you saying biwi ..????

Nandu : y r u calling me biwi manik bcoz ....I'm nandu na ..... and y r u saying sorry .....your not a kid to do mistakes .....you know everything and you can take care of yourself ...than y me ...just leave me.....

Manik : sorry biwi .....saying he burst into tears and hugged her tight ...
hiding himself in her embrace ......

Nandu melted on seeing his vulnerable state .....she hugged him and patted his back .....

They stayed for sometime like that ....nandu still is holding him tight .....she held him like a baby .,...

Manik : you know biwi I feel like a looser ..,.....

Nandu broke the hug and made him look at her by cupping his face. .....

Manik : I am a looser biwi .....vo I ....he started stammering......

Nandu : manu....she called him lovingly.....

Manik just raised his head and looked at her .....

Nandu cupped his face .......and kissed his forehead .......

Nandu : I love you my monster hubby ......never ever call yourself a looser ..... whenever you feel like that just look my eyes. ...you can see the pride of having you in my life ...... So plzz Never ask me to leave you alone ....
