Etho was sitting at the table with Bdubs having breakfast.
"Dad?"
"Yeah?"
"What don't I need to know?"
"What do you mean bud?"
"Last night, You said you would tell me in the morning"
"Right, I did say that"
Bdubs stayed quiet looking at his father
"Well, when you were about two, me and your mother were getting a divorce."
"Yeah, I know about that. I don't remember it but I know"
"Yeah, that isn't it though, during the divorce we had been trying to figure out custody. It was relatively easy to figure out with you and Scar, me and your mother decided it would be best for her to have you a majority time."
"Why?"
"Well, I had somewhere to go. We decided she could keep the house, and with that it made more sense for you two to stay in the house. So you two were going to stay with me over weekends and with you mom the rest of the time."
"I know that, It kept going with us going back until Scar got diagnosed and can't get up the stairs on his own."
"Yeah, that's what you already know. However there's something else, I'm not certain your mother would want me to say"

The door opened with Impulse and Tango coming in

"We're back!" Tango yelled
"Welcome back" Etho said
"Uncle Tango, Do you know what I don't need to know?" Bdubs asked, catching on quickly to the fact he wasn't going to learn it from Etho.

"Well, you're a nine year old kid, there's a lot you don't need to know yet" Tango said
"But what my mom and dad don't want me to know"
"Again probably a lot, your nine"
"So, you don't know?" Bdubs asked
"I don't even know what you're talking about" Tango said sitting down followed by impulse
"Uncle Impulse do you know?" Bdubs asked
"I don't know what this conversation is about" Impulse said
"Mom and dad were talking last night and mom said there was something I didn't need to know, but I wanna know!" Bdubs explained
"If your mom says you don't need to know, you probably shouldn't worry about it"
"But dad seems to be okay with me knowing!" Bdubs said
"I have to make sure your mom's okay with it, She's your main caretaker." Etho said
"But-" Bdubs starts
"No, Bdubs, this is a conversation you need to have with your mother"

Bdubs grumbled, before getting up and storming upstairs to his room. But stops halfway sneaking down a bit more to listen into whatever his father and uncles are going to talk about.

"So, you aren't gonna tell him anytime soon" Tango asked
"That's Cleo's decision, if it was up to me I'd have told him already" Etho said
"You're his dad, you can't tell him?" Impulse asked
"I could but, that'd mean Cleo would have to deal with a majority of what comes from that. I'd gladly tell him if she'd be alright with it" Etho said
"Just tell the damn kid about his brother" Tango said a bit louder then intended
"No, I'm not going to tell him without Cleo being okay with it"
"Fine, he's gonna find out"
"I know that, and I'm ready to explain everything when he does"
