What was he doing-

What was he doing-

what wAS HE DOING?!

Did he have a death wish?!

What happened to his unwavering loyalty?!

Where was his loyalty?!

Those questions circled around in Soundwave's processor - over and over again in a cycle- trying to find a logical answer to his actions.

But none came.

He knew what would happen had he been caught. He knew the consequences- he knew the punishment.

So why?

It frustrated him to no end as he continued to walk down the corridor with the container in his hands.

And in the container?

The human that will be the death of him.

(Y/n).

"Um.." The child had spoke up. Soundwave looked down at her as he continued his cautious pace.

"Where are you taking me?..."

If she continued talking to him and asking questions, it might draw attention to any roaming bots listening - and that's the last thing he wants.

The least she can do is act unconscious.

Soundwave slowed his pace to look down at her- which only received a tilt of a head.

He displayed a pair of cartoon eyes on his visor with a cover moving to over them.

(Y/n) stared for a moment longer at the gif that displayed on Soundwave's screen before she said a small 'Oh!' and lied down with her chest rising and lowering softly and her hands curled under her head.

Was she...was she pretending to be asleep?

...

Well, close enough.

Soundwave then look this chance to quicken his pace down the corridor and to the control room.

Oh, thank Primus the room was empty- save for a few drones who knew not to be nosy when he was around.

He quickly inputted certain coordinates and fired up the groundbridge- not gaining any glances.

And with slight hesitation, he walked through the bridge.

If he corrected right, they were supposed to be here, at these coordinates- waiting for him.

Otherwise, he would have came here for naught and be questioned on why he left in the first place.

Well, he could just say that the human needed fresh air to stay sane while she stayed captured. But then again, Shockwave was the one who knew more about the human anatomy...

Well, there wouldn't be any need to look for an excuse- as he could see the ones he pinged already here and waiting for him.

And it seemed that they weren't taking any chances with him either- as they had their weapons drawn and pointed at him.

"Soundwave," Optimus called out as he glanced down at the now upright child in the container. "What do you plan on doing with her,"

Oh, looks like he wasn't in a good mood....

And the three bots behind him, Wheeljack, Bumblebee and Smokescreen also look like they aren't really happy to see him.

Soundwave said nothing as he simply opened the container and gently slipped (Y/n) out into his servos- all the while, she remained quiet.

He then did what none would think he would do.

He held out (Y/n) to him.

It was still for a moment- as if the Autobots hesitated to think if this was real of not.

And deciding to end the prolonged outcome, he stepped forward and towards them.

The three Autobots behind Optimus immediately repositioned their weapons and fired them up- only to stop short as Optimus changed his blasters back into his servos, and raised a servo to tell them to lower their weapons.

"Optimus?" Smokescreen quietly asked and he changed his weapons back into his servos- the other two bots following suit.

The Prime merely stayed silent and walked forward- meeting Soundwave at the halfway point of the distance.

Once in front of each other, the Autobot leader held out a servo and (Y/n) was gently placed on it.

Optimus watched Soundwave for a moment before nodding his head in gratitude.

"I thank you for your great act of mercy to (Y/n), Soundwave," He said.

Soundwave did not respond but instead, turned around and walked off- thinking over and over again, where his loyalties now lie.

And why, of all things on this planet, did he save that child?....

Blooper 1

Soundwave then lowered his helm and displayed a sad emoticon on his face.

(Y/n) looked up at Soundwave and tilted her head - curious at the sight of the the sad emoticon.

Soundwave then started to play a series of voices clips.

"...Soundwave...thinking like...Shockwave..."

(Y/n) tilted her head- still confused by the sudden claim.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

Shockwaves voice clip then sounded from Soundwave.

"...logic..."

Blooper 2

Was she...was she pretending to be asleep?

...

Well, close enough.

Plus, he won't deny that, that looked cute- so Soundwave silently took a picture of her and kept it in his processor.

Blooper 3

Optimus simply watched Soundwave for a moment before nodding his head in gratitude.

"I thank you for your great act of mercy to (Y/n), Soundwave," He said.

..

..

"And for that, I shall lend you my permission to court her,"

That remark earned an exclaimed 'WHAT?!' from the three bots behind him and surprisingly, a 'blip' from Soundwave- possibly to express his shock.

"Optimus!- Y-You can't be serious right now?!" Smokescreen exclaimed. "He's a DECEPTICON!!"

Soundwave looked down at (Y/n) as she sat in Optimus' hand- confusion written all over her face.

He then turned around and started to walk away.

"Prime! What gotten into you?!" Wheeljack shouted in shock as Bumblebee then added (buzzed) in his own comments.

.:You can't just say that to a Decepticon!- Especially him! He's the creepy one of them all-!:. Bumblebee was then interrupted by a different voice.

"...Optimus..." The voice of Megatron.

The arguing Autobots immediately quieted down and looked over at the source.

Soundwave stood with his back facing them, yet his helm was turned towards them.

...

...

...

"...I shall keep that noted..."

And with those final words, Soundwave summoned a groundbridge and walked through- disappearing.

As well as leaving three sHOOK (not Optimus) bots behind with their mouths agape.

Blooper 3.5

"I still don't know what courting is," (Y/n) mumbled.

"You shall understand when you get older," Optimus reassured.

Blooper 4

"Soundwave," Optimus called out as he glanced down at the now upright child in the container. "What do you plan on doing with her,"

Oh, looks like he wasn't in a good mood....

And the three bots behind him, Wheeljack, Bumblebee and Smokescreen also look like they aren't really happy to see him.

'Well hello to you too assholes' Soundwave thought in his head. If he had visible optics, he would have rolled them.
