Giant voodoo symbols were singing and the statue at the far end of the street was opening to drag him in. She didn't like him but this could traumatise the bravest. He was begging, pleading, crying for more time as he clawed at the ground and fire surged up around it. His shadow was backed into a corner and scrabbling desperately not to be dragged to the ground. To hear a man scream so uselessly made her heart crack... and then her body cracked when the foot landed on her back. Tiana writhed but the foot turned and twisted as each bone cracked, blood rising to her mouth when it left towards the dying flames. Time was running out when several loud cracks sent inhuman screams into the air. The fire turned blue and Tiana looked up at the figure who'd broken her. An involuntary shudder ran through each vein at the young girl looking back at the Shadowman. Obsidian hair fading into blue flames touched aqua coloured skin and violet eyes were too big for the pupils but surrounded by yellow instead of white. Of course her entire outfit was black, blue, purple and death themed if it wasn't already clear which side she was on. Reve Facilier let one word fall from her lips.

"Papa..." With a flick of her wrist Facilier's shadow was up and freed. "Quelquefois... tu es stupide" Reve walked him over to a lamppost for support until whoever she was waiting on showed up. "How many things could have - have! gone wrong?! STUPIDE STUPIDE STUPIDE!" She hit him between each word until blue flames surged again in a circle this time. Reve turned her back on her father "Daddy wasn't happy when the talisman vanished."

"That... I wasn't." Tiana had strayed into a nightmare. She prayed she had. She couldn't be dying, she couldn't be watching the... thing... girl saving Facilier and calling him papa. She prayed she wasn't watching this. "Because when this whole scheme... went up in smoke... I... could do... NOTHING!!!" Red flames reverted to blue when the... male thing... calmed down. He couldn't be mortal, and she had to wake up.

"Je veux elle comme mon animal de compagnie" Reve laughed as her father's defeater screamed when all her bones reset. Tiana felt herself picked up and squirmed. Reve smiled down at her and crooked a finger so her soul drifted out of her body to the waiting jar. She whispered to it before they left "Aurevoir Naveen!" A dead frog was swept off of the street the next day.
