V. FIVE

I sat next to Anya on the floor, Loid had distributed cookies and tea. It was time for us to do a group training session.
Lois shuffled a stack of papers, "Eden College is one of the most prestigious schools in the country. During the interview, not only will the child be evaluated, but so will the parents. They will be evaluated on their social standing as well as how cultured they are. Understood?"
"Yes!"
"Now, let's start the questions. First, please state your name and address."
"Anya Fo...Fo...Horger."
"Y/N Forgher"
He paused, it was good enough. "Address?" We paused. "The place we're at right now. ..?"
"This is Anya's and Y/n's house!" My sister grinned.
"That's not what I meant." Lois quickly moved on, turning to me. "Er, so, Mistrr Y/n... How do you spend your days off?"
"Ummm… you usually order anya and me to stay home all day… anya watches Tv all day and hogs the tvâ€""
"Whaaat! You don't like spy wars?!?" She cried.
Lois hushed her, "Now, wait a second. That makes a terrible impression. Madam?"
"Yes?" Yor snapped out of her trance.
"Why did you choose Eden College, and how do you plan to pass this exam?"
"How do people usually pass? Um, pass, passing..." Yor muttered to herself. "Perhaps because of cardiac arrest, or excessive bleeding? Or compound fractures throughout the body? Oh! Maybe their skull was caved in."
"kill me now... Next question. Could you describe your parenting methods?"
"Huh? U-Um... Strike first to be victorious?"
This is a disaster.
Loid tossed the papers onto the table. "This is pointless. There's no way we'll survive the interview at this rate. Let's give up on getting them into that school."
"L-Loid! Please remember your late wife's wishes!"
"Clearly, we weren't ready for this mock interview yet.'' He stood up and guided everyone to the front doors. "All right, let's go out for a bit. Let's broaden our horizons, become versed in what is normal for an upper-class family, and make sure that we're all on the same page."
"We're on an ooting, an ooting, la, la, la, lah!" I couldn't help but follow my sisters energy as we went out as a family.
We went to a bunch of different places, adventures and stopped a whole crime scene! God if we all put our powers together, we would be an unstoppable team.

Loid made sure we all went to bed early and wake up at 6 AM. He helped Anya and I get ready as Yor did our hairs. I helped loid pack his small briefcases full of four outfit changes and hats. Mainly nice suits, a nice dress and matching outfits for Anya and I.
I readjusted my suit jacket and slacks. I had a hat that matched my hat. It somehow covered my ears.
I sighed. I wish we could've just stayed home and relaxed instead of dressing up all fancy like.
Loid pulled up his car that he managed to rental or what I'm assuming he rented out. He pulled into the huge parking lot and we all trailed out. I tried holding Yors hand, but Anya quickly pulled me ahead with her.
We waited with a bunch of other parents and snotty children.
Some of them played with the others, some stood right by their parents and others weren't even awake.
Lucky.
"The time has come." Loid pulled us to the farthest corner. We huddled around him. "Let us check our personal effects."
"All clear, sir." Yor saluted.
"And now, our appearances."
"All clear, sir."
"And a final check of our verbal etiquette."
"All set, please. Will do my best, please." Anya and I chimed together.
"I feel nothing but anxiety about this, but we've done everything we could. Now, onward's To Eden College's interview!"
The gate lifted and people started trickling in, nobody dared to run in all willy nilly.
"It's so big!" Yor gasped.
"Well, it is one of this country's top schools."
"And there are so many examinees..."
"They're all our rivals." We continued to walk, Anya groaned. I rubbed her hand, signaling to try and block out all of the voices. Loid signaled to us to listen. "This feeling… There's no doubt about it. I've experienced this many times. Someone is watching us. Could it be... Is there an enemy hidden in this crowd?"
Anya asked, "An enemy?"
"Where?" I agreed.
"I feel someone's gaze..."
Loid shook his head at Yor, "No, that's not it. I'm not the only one being watched. It's always an unpleasant feeling to be observed like this. There." He signaled upwards.
"In those blacked out windows?"
"Yes, Y/n. Don't look up at them tho. Continue walking. Those... are the instructors. They're observing every action that everyone is taking and scoring them to see if they're worthy of this school. Which means... the exam has already begun. I need you three to be on your guard. We're being watched by the examiners."
"Huh? Really?" Yor gasped.
"We'll do this just as we practiced."
And that we did. We continued to walk down the narrow but long corridor.
Up ahead was a statue, many people passed it without a second glance. However this was one of the many things we practiced at home. We stopped at the statue and gave our respects to the founder.
Since we were in the back, nobody in front thought of the idea to salute, and those who were behind us, quickly rushed to do the same thing.
Pfft, copycats.
Everyone slowly came to a halt. There a large booming voice above us, barking orders at us.
"We'll confirm your admission numbers here. G-. Please go to Hall. Ah, A-. Please enter Hall"
Lois whispered, "We're still being observed. Don't let your guard down."
"It's so nerve-racking being watched like this…" Yor put a hand to her chest.
"I need to pick my nose." Anya commented.
"Do not."
"I need to throw up..." I felt my stomach churning.
"Absolutely no."
"Oh, no!" A crie snapped our attention to a small boy with his lower half trapped in a gutter. "I've accidentally fallen into the gutter, and I can't get out!"
He struggled and cried, I looked at Loid. His eyes twitched back and forth between many objects before sprinting to the kid and full hauling him out of the mucky water.
"Are you all right, lad?" Loid asked.
"Use my hanky, please." My sister grabbed my tissue as well and offered it to the boy.
"Make sure you go to the infirmary, just in case." Loid crouched down and opened his briefcase. Like the master spy he is, we were quickly changed out of our outfits.
"Thank goodness we anticipated this," mama spun, "and prepared a change of clothes just in case!" She passed Loid his hat. "Besides, your grey suit seems to fit the attire at this school more."
"If I had continued wearing my previous suit, we would've been mistaken for commoners from the countryside. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to change, lad."
We left the boy stunned as a few more wild things started to occur. Where did this school get a petting zoo from? Seriously! They're trying to kill us.. nonetheless, we made it to the actual interview!
