Trina and I sat next to each other on the couch. Jason was sitting on the floor looking through the cabinets.
"What's this mom?" Jason suddenly said turning to Trina.
"It's a photo album. It has all of your baby pictures in it." Trina smiled a bit. I looked at Jason and winked. He have me a slight nod back and went to Trina.
"Can I look through it with you?" Trina hesitated for a moment.
"Of course." Mendel knew she'd been avoiding looking through it. Seeing her and Marvin together brought back old memories. Jason sat next to her and opened the book. The first page had pictures of Trina in the hospital holding Jason. A few were of Marvin standing next to the hospital bed smiling and holding Jason. We slowly flipped though Jason's life. He grew before us. We reached the middle of the book and Trina went to shut it.
"What about the rest mom?" Jason asked and Trina looked confused.
"There is no more. This is the last page." I smiled at Trina.
"I think there might be one more." I added. She slowly turned the page revealing pictures of her and Jason. Along with a few family photos. Trina smiled wide and kept flipping the pages, revealing more photos of us. Our family. Trina flipped to the final suprise. Photos from our wedding. I took them all and with Jason's help we decorated a special page. Trina, Jason and I smiled along with the other guests. In others Jason and I smiled waving at the camera.
"Oh boys this...this is wonderful..." Trina smiled and traced our faces. "Look at us. The perfect little family. We had a bit of a rocky start but we're here." She smile simply and hugged us both.
"There still so much more we can fill out."
"I have a great idea let's go camping! Or on a family vacation! We could take great pictures!" Jason chimes. Trina just holds us for a long while and I turn to look at her.
"I love you so much Trina. You are and Jason are the best things that have ever happened to me. Now we can start out own story and make sure to take lots of pictures."
