//Chapter Seven//

Celestia found herself standing in the same meadow again. She was staring at the distant white castle with 4 spirals that reached up high to the sky. She could see the walls that surrounded the huge castle, and the white and red specks of roofs of houses that surrounded it.

Butterflies surrounded her; some landed on her and stayed put. Then would leave and another would come and land. She glanced down and saw that she was wearing a white and gold gown; the straps of the sleeves hung low on her arms and came past her hands. The edges of the gown had gold, literal gold, sewn in intricate patterns. From her waist down, the gown just hung loose. The gown was silky and soft to the touch, “Like it?” A males voice came behind her and she spun to meet the dark ocean blue eyes of Matthew. Her heart skipped a little, he looked stunning. He was wearing black suit pants, his shirt was untucked and the first 4 buttons was undone and exposed a bit of his toned chest. His hair was combed back neatly, not a single strand was loose, “W-What do you mean?” She stuttered a little, star struck by how beautiful he was.

He smiled and walked up to her, noticing her gripping the gown and he took her hands, unfurling her fingers from the gown. “Don’t do that, you will crinkle the dress like that.” His fingers were warm against her cold hands. “I-Im sorry… You just startled me.” She said softly, trying not to look at his bare chest. He brought one hand up and kissed the back of her hand softly, “Shall we go for a walk? It’s a nice day and a beautiful lady like you should enjoy it and not gaze at the castle all day long.” Matthew said.

Celestia couldn’t say anything and simply nodded at his words. He smiled and made her lock her arm with his as the pair walked down the hill. They walked to the edge of the forest; it wasn’t so dense like the other side of the meadow. She saw a winding dirt path that lead into the forest, the trees were dotted with pink and orange flowers. They walked along the path in silence; she could feel the warmth of his skin. The smell of apricots surrounded him, his favourite cologne, it was sweat but she could also smell something bitter and sour just underneath the beautiful illusion.

Finally she broke the silence, “Where are we going?” She looked up to him, he was holding her arm tightly but not to tightly to be hurt, like she was going to run. Run where? She didn’t know this place, only that it was for special people.

“You will see. You’ll like it.” He replied in his calm and gentle voice, it made chills run up her spine, but the good kind when you enjoy something. “But I don’t like surprises.” She added, looking up ahead of the pathway, she could just make out a small fence gate that was rusty and covered in moss. The trees here were thicker in the canopy, the trunks were dark brown with different coloured green moss growing on them. It was cooler here, though the humid feeling still hung in the air. “I know, but you have to accept it this time.” He said as the pair made their way to the gate as he opened it and she stepped through to only be taken aback.

Before her was a stretch of cliffs, trees growing all along the edges, some hanging over to make an unstable looking bridge. Below was crystal clear blue water, flowing at a slow pace towards a far away mountain. “Oh wow…” she whispered, “ ‘Oh wow’ indeed.” Matthew said coming to stand beside her. “Shall we go down?” He asked, “How?” She replied, looking at the deadly fall beneath her. “Like this,” his arms went around her waist as he pulled her close, “Wh-What are you doing?!” She gasped as he smiled, “Trust me, Celestia. I wouldn’t be doing this if harm came to you.” He said and then stepped of, she screamed.

Her face buried into his chest and felt it vibrate from a laugh, “We are fine.” He said and she pulled back and looked around. They were fine; they stood on the bank of the small alcove of the beach. She stepped out of his arms and looked around, the cliff surrounded them, trapping them down here. “How are we going to get back up?” She asked, concern laced her voice. “We do the same, I jump back up.” He said pointing up to the top. She didn’t look convinced but he shrugged and grinned, then laid out a blanket. “Where did you get that from?” She asked, looking at him with confusion, “It’s a dream. We can call for anything.” He said, and in a blink of an eye, a picnic basket appeared. “Oh.” She said, “Come, let’s eat before we swim.” He said and she walked to him and sat down, he sat on the other side and pulled out the exotic looking food from the basket and a bottle of some kind of wine. He handed her a glass and poured the red wine into the glass, she sniffed it before tasting it. “Its bitter, but has a fruity flavour.” She said, nodding, “I like it.” She smiled at him, “Faeries make the best wine,” he said. She nodded as he handed her a sandwich and they ate in silence, Matthew would occasionally make a comment about the food or the scenery. After they ate, Matthew stood up and stretched, “Time for a swim finally!” He said and suddenly took his shirt of.

She blushed madly as his pants came of, leaving him only in his boxers. “U-Um! You shouldn’t strip in front of a lady!” She gasped, covering her eyes hastily but couldn’t help but peak through her fingers. He turned to face her, chuckling a little. His skin looked like glazed honey, smooth and toned. She saw the muscle that coiled his biceps, chest and stomach, even his thighs a little. He was crouching before her and she crawled back a little, she was embarrassed and shy. “I can see you looking at me,” He said as he took her hand gently and pulled it away.

He then pulled her up to her feet and hugged her close. Her eyes widen in shock as her hands rested on his chest, “M-Matthew…” she blushed and looked down. She saw that the dress had gone and she was standing in only panties and a bra that was white with black stripes. “O-Oh god! Matthew what did you do?!” She exclaimed in embarrassment. She could feel the hard muscle against her small frame. She could feel all the bumps and the smoothness of his skin. Her cheeks were flushed as she felt this strange pleasurable feeling in the pit of her stomach. His lips brushed her temple, his hands moved away before she was lifted up in a bridal hold. She couldn’t speak, just hold on to him. She met his eyes as they walked to the water. He let her go in the water and then came in front of her, his arms around her waist as they held on to each other, just staring in each others eyes.

His hands on her were so gentle, he held her protectively. Their faces were close together, their noses almost touching. This felt so good; she loved the way he looked at her, with this compassion and want. Her legs slowly wrapped around his waist, and she pulled him even closer and now there was no space between them. Body against body. Nose against nose. Their foreheads touched now, his eyes half closed as he whispered something, “Kiss… Me…” she saw his mouth form the words and she leaned in more and kissed him. The kiss was slow, gentle and a bit hesitant. As if they were testing each other, but she could handle it. So she kissed him deeper, and he kissed her back deeper, until they were locked in a passionate and deep kiss. Her fingers moved up and tangled in his blond curls, pushing him closer as their kisses got rougher. She heard him groan as she pressed her crotch hard against his hardening bulge in his boxers. He broke the kiss and kissed her jaw then neck, leaving a love bite on her unscarred skin. “Oh… Ahhh…” she moaned softly, titling her head to the side to give him more space to kiss and suck on her skin.

His hands slipped up slowly to pull the strings of her bikini top, she felt him hesitate as he looked at her, “You can take it off…” She said softly, he nodded slowly and pulled it of. She felt herself being lifted up and they were suddenly on the bank of the beach, he laid her down gently and kissed her again before moving down to her neck then to her chest, peppering her chest lightly with soft kisses before moving to her breasts, taking one of her nipples into his mouth as he sucked on it. Don’t let him do this, a little voice cried in her mind.

He rolled his tongue over the nub. She arched her back slightly as he sucked on her nipple; the small jolts of pleasure going through her. She could feel something hard and throbbing pressing against her crotch, she bucked up her hips a little and a small groan came from Matthew. “Mmmppf…” he looked up at her, his cheeks red slightly. But what made the chills come back up her spin were his eyes, his eyes were black pits and a scream rose in her throat. His hand clamped on her mouth to keep her quiet, he moved up to her and smirked, “Your so easily to get. I never knew I could get this far, I was hoping to drag you under an illusion.” Matthew, or it, spoke with an amused tone. She knew something was wrong. God how could she get pulled down into the illusion. She tried to get out from under him but his body was to heavy on her.
“Don’t try to get away, you can’t escape from here.” He said, his hips holding her down. She tried not to moan out from his hard bulge pressing against her, she could feel the outline of him. “Th-That’s why you brought me here, t-to keep me trapped.” She whispered, her body frozen under him. “Mhm,” he said almost dreamily as he gazed down at her. “What do you want? What do you want from Matthew? Why are you in my dream?” She hissed angrily, she tried to move desperately, wanting him to get of her. She felt so betrayed; open for him to do whatever he wanted to her. “Tsk, to many questions you ask! I have no idea why Matthew chose you, your weak and easily manipulated.” The Matthew possessed thing spoke, annoyance evident in his voice. “What I want is you, Matthew is my vessel, I don’t have a proper form so Ja’ob gave me this body. If it makes you feel better, little Matthew gave consent for me to enter and use his body as I please,” he smirked at the shocked look on Celestia’s face, “And why I’m in your dream comes to the first question, I want you.” He finished, watching the expression on her face change to hatred to disgust and back to anger.

“‘Want me’? Why?” She asked, he sighed, “More questions. I want you because of your Angel side; you have Arch Angel blood running along with Arch Demon blood. They do not mix, they run along side by side like they are best friends. I’m jealous, it angers me that two beings that have hated each other ever since the beginning of Creation and the first sin, can work beautifully in you.” He said hungrily, his hands sliding up her sides, over her breasts and then to cup her face. “You are the answer to demons, you can make us powerful like the angels, help us to infiltrate their pristine Kingdom. You are the answer!” He gasped, as if he was struck with fire. “No I’m not! Get off me! Get off me!” She howled and felt this sudden power erupt from her and Matthew was thrown back, she scrambled to her feet and pulled on her bikini top. Her body was warm and she could feel power running through her, she glanced down at her wrists. Her left had black spider like veins, and her right had gold veins.

So this is what he meant, how the two beings are flowing side by side. She then looked up and saw Matthew struggle to his feet, his hand clutched at his chest. “You fucking bitch! How dare you!” He hissed, she saw the gaping hole; she could see the hanging bits of flesh and muscle mixed with his organs. She felt bile rise up her throat and threw up, going on her knees as she coughed and heaved up not bile but this time… Blood. Her body trembled as she coughed hard; it felt like someone was wrapping barbed wire around her lungs and pulled as tightly as they could. It felt like her whole body was being violently shaken. She heard Matthew chuckle, “Awww, poor you. Look how you are struggling to breathe. They didn’t tell you?” he sounded amused, bit to amused, “Tell me what…?” she asked, breathing hard as she held her hand to her chest. She could hear the sound of Matthews’s chest closing up, crunch, crack, and snap goes his bones. She held back from throwing up, but the burning pain was still there in her chest, “They left out a small part. Your health.” Matthew said, licking his lips a little. His toned body was still covered in blood, but she could see that the blood was slowly being absorbed into his skin. “My health? What about it?” She asked, “Sigh, more questions. They seriously didn’t teach you well.” He said running his fingers through his messy blond hair, he had a devilish grin as he walked around her. Studying her, his eyes moving up and down her body. She didn’t take her eyes of him, and glared at him, “Just tell me for the love of god!” She yelled, her hand turning into fists. He winced slightly as he stood in front of her, “Its some weird condition you have, that’s probably the side affect from having two extremely powerful beings in you.” He said, reaching out to wipe away some blood on her chin but she jumped back.

His hand dropped to his side as he just stared at her, “And?” she urged on, “If you use to much power from them at the same time, your body will start to freak out and go into shut down mode. But you cant because your body is made to keep living no matter what.” He explained, “Unless someone finds your weak spot and use that to kill you.” He added. She felt uneasy and ill; her mind was spinning, making her unstable on her feet.  He noticed her unease and went to her side to hold her up right, “It’ll be all fine my dear, one of these days the pain will be gone…” His voice sounded distant, distorted. She felt her knees give way under her and she fell into his chest. But he was no longer there; she never hit ground as she tumbled into the darkness. Until she woke up gasping for air, she tasted the bitter yet sweet taste of her own blood. She turned her head and could see the light purple/blue sky, Dawn, she thought groggily. She pushed herself up with her elbows and could see her white night gown covered in something dark. She touched it and it was moist, she turned the light on and went pale. It was blood.

Fresh as well. She got out of bed quickly and almost collapsed on to her knees, her chest tightened and she whined a little from the pain. She waited until the pain subsided and slowly got to her feet, and then moved to the door. She needed answers, to understand why she had this illness. She stumbled out of her room and down the low illuminated hallway. The bare concrete coloured walls made the walk seem like a long, long walk. She could see the black spots dotting her vision but she tried to push back the tiredness that was threatening to take over. She was now leaning against the wall, the tightness in her chest getting worse as she stumbled a little over her feet.

The world was a mass of blur, the world tipping and the floor came to her before someone stood in front of her, arms wrapping around her and she was lifted up in a bridal style as she saw lights flash across her eyes. Someone was carrying her. Then the sounds of murmured voices, and felt sharp things prick into her arms and felt a tube go down her throat. Her vision was very blurry; all she could see was a sky blue ceiling and white faces hovering over her. They moved away from her vision and came back, waving and doing some gestures. But she couldn’t seem to respond, her body was now paralysed and her heart was beating very slowly. She was cold, her breathing raspy and dry, like she was choking. Her eyes closed slowly, until she could no longer see the light.

The heart monitor made a long beep sound, the heart rate line was still and straight. Blodwyn was there, standing beside her, holding her hand tightly as tears ran down her face. The faerie had sensed that something was wrong with the young hybrid girl, and came running to the infirmary to find her on the bed and not moving. The doctors had cleaned away the blood that was on her nightgown and Celestia was in the hospital gown. Ja’ob came in, breathing hard since he ran like mad from his office, “What happened?” he demanded as his eyes moved over to the silent crying faerie to Celestia lying still on the bed. His eyes widened at the sight and went still, “No… no…” he said, “No! No! She can’t…! What the hell happened?!” He yelled in anger and despair. Blodwyn looked up, her cheeks streaked with tears, “No one knows. One of the Occupants had found her walking down the hallway, blood all on her chest… He brought her here and the doctors tried to do whatever they could to save her…” Blodwyn whispered, her voice shaky a little. Ja’ob turned to see a young man, arms around himself as he looked down. “What happened?” he asked the man, trying to sound gentle as ever.

“I-I just saw her… She was struggling to stand so I hurried to her and picked her up and brought her here. The doctors gave her medicine to stop the coughing, but there was too much blood that she lost… I swear I had nothing to do with this! Please don’t think I killed her!” The man begged, his eyes shinny with tears. “Its okay… I understand…” He nodded as he looked back to Celestia and took her hand. He stared at her pale face, blood speckled her chin. She seemed to be at peace. He felt this guilt rise up in him; it was his fault that he didn’t tell her about her illness. He stared at her pale, dead face. Hearing Blodwyn cry, made his heart twist. He turned away and left the room. The memory of Celestia’s face etched into his mind.
