it might not feel real but it's okay

    The girl could practically hear her heartbeat beating out of her chest. Everything around her was in slow motion and it felt like the world had stopped moving.

Nailea felt her throat close up as she choked on any words that tried to escape. She watched Nicholas as his face went through a wave of emotions, before it stopped searching.

Without any thinking, Nicholas impulsively grabbed ahold of Nai's face and passionately kissed her.

She wanted to pull away and probably slap him for his actions but she liked this. She really truly utterly had been waiting for this moment to happen.

The two slowly moving their lips away from one another, the two stared at each other, either one not knowing what to do or say.

"I" Nicholas began, "I'm sorry." his voice shallower than before.

"Don't be." Nailea breathed. Her voice matching his tone. A small smile on her lips grew as she spoke.
