Epilogue
Falling to Rise
Epilogue
With the wind blowing through the sail, and the waves lapping at the sides of the ship. Jerome was smelling the air. It was salty and brisk, he sighed contently.
"Hey Jerome have you seen Seto? I can't find him?" Adam came up to Jerome and Jerome greeted him.
"Oh hey Adam, and no I haven't... Actually, now that I think of it, I can't even smell Seto on the boat. Though maybe that's just because there are too many people, f*ck what if he never made it to the boat!"
Jerome started to panic and Adam had to calm him down, "Whoa, calm down. Let's just take a look around before we jump to conclusions."
"R-right," Jerome glanced around the deck and saw Wag walking towards them.
"Hey Wag have--"
"I seen Seto? Yes I have, on shore of course--"
"What!" Adam screamed, Jerome plugged his ears.
"Calm down, it was not an accident, Seto chose this of his own free will, he's heading to Vragan as we speak--"
Adam panicked again, "By himself!!"
Wag rolled his eyes at the constant interruptions, "No, Tyler is with him, they're both heading to Vragan. There is no need to worry, they'll be fine."
"Yea, maybe," Jerome muttered, "But he could've told us, we would've gladly helped."
"I think that is why Seto didn't want to come to us," Adam sighed, "I think he still feels responsible for all the things that have happened recently."
Adam looked down, Jerome himself looked out towards the sea, once towards Eflido and then towards Duhita, "Be safe Seto."
Now, in Duhita it is mainly covered in dense forest, dark and menacing like. With its capital deep in the forest and towns dotting the kingdom, the kingdom is a nice place to live. Besides the fact that non-humans are treated horribly. Almost none able to afford homes in the towns let alone the capital, most choose to reside in the woods themselves.
However, not every morvic chooses to stand-by and take the harsh treatment, in fact two groups dedicated to granting rights to morvics exists. One group known as Chaos, a morvic only group, formed by Jerome Bac himself when he was still a young teen. Originally it was just a group made to cause mischief for humans, but now they argue for their freedom with violence and terrorism. Not exactly the best way, but certainly one way to go about it.
The other group is known as The Human-Morvic Alliance. A few years before Chaos there was a very small group of both humans and morvics who wished for the equality of morvics, the group was formed by two humans, who had a daughter and an adopted morvic child. Though the group was started when that adopted child had run away, in hopes of one day bringing their son home to a better world.
This group sought peaceful protests and eventually the son of the leaders did return not knowing of what his parents had done. When he had found out, he was welcomed with open arms and found many friends. For s few years all was well until the leaders of the organization were killed in a tragic "accident", it was up to their daughter and son to take over. Though one was a natural leader and the other was not.
Through the guidance of the daughter the group slowly stopped peaceful protests and were more forceful and violent with their approach, this left the her brother the morvic no choice. He took up being a medic for them as he was not suited to leading. As much as he hated to see the violence, he could not stop it.
The kingdom of Duhita is split in two. The majority of the side on the west side of the river that split Duhita in half was Chaos territory, only a small portion belonged to the HMA. The east side of the river was also the HMA's.
Of course these borders only existed to the two groups as recognition not to go into each other's territory. The small section of HMA's territory that was on the west side of the river was the place Mitch had in mind for the new camp for Jordan.

"The sea smells a little different today..."
A small wooden house with one floor and only the simple necessities and a porch had a young man, perhaps in his mid twenties, sitting on the edge of the porch. He had one knee bent and his arms resting on it, he perked up at the voice of his friend who was sitting on a large flat rock in front of the home. Though just before his friend was hunched over furiously scribbling into his little book, he was now upright looking into the air and shielding his face from the sun. His blue rubbery like skin reflected the sun's light and a large fin acted like hair on top of his smooth head.
"What was that Quentin? Did you say something?" The man said to the morvic.
"Just that the sea smells different." He replied.
The man smelled the air, "Smells the same to me."
The morvic, whose name was Quentin laughed, "Yea, yea, I hear you. But I'm not joking, it smells like something is heading this way, I don't think it is dangerous, but it smells curious."
"Alright, whatever you say, hey! Your sister will probably be back with another patrol, shouldn't you go get your herbs ready?"
"Ah! Right!" Quentin jumped up and closed his book before throwing it into his bag and dashing into the small home.

"Your highness," a soldier was kneeling in front of a throne, in a room shrouded in darkness. A single man sat up top the throne in the dark room, the man was perhaps in his late 50's. His face was wrinkled but stern and full of malice, most of his hair was already grey and his hands gripped the sides of the throne with force, "Your highness, the task has been completed like you've asked. We have the monster in the captivity."
"Good." Was the only thing the king of Emedo said.
In another part of the castle, deep in the dark reaches of the dungeon, was a single man or beast shackled by the neck, wrists and feet to the wall. The figure was limp and injured and made no move a guard patrolling the area walked by whistling a peppy tune. The torch the guard carried illuminated the bruised and injured face of the creature, and as the guard passed on by the light around this area began to dim.
When the light had completely passed from view, the creature began to stir, only slightly. It started with the wiggle of the fingers before the head jolted up and its eyes opened, revealing a glowing pair of purple eyes, and a tail that was once hidden by the shadows by now moving along the surface of the wall.
The creature growled in the dark prison before thrashing around in anger.

A young girl gazed up at the shining moon from her locked room. She stared at it sadly red hair the color of fire. Her brown and green eye shimmered under the moon's light, her delicate face rested on her propped hands.
She loved her home very much, but she did not love the way her home was always taken advantage of. Overrun by Emedian soldiers the people of her father's kingdom were prisoners in their own houses, and she was no different.
However, she would not give up. She would find a way to escape, a way to free her people. Neim is not just filled with farmers and architects, there were fighters even here. As Neim's princess, she had a duty to her people, and she would fulfill it.
~~~~~
Night time had arrived on the first day of sailing. Almost no one was on deck, most had moved to the sleeping quarters below deck. And while most people were sleeping, there were some souls still awake. A pair of souls happened to be speaking in a private discussion down farther in the hull.
"Adam, it's important that you don't go revealing who you are, especially to these people. I know how much you want to help, but you have to be mindful of who you are also."
"Yes, yes I know Ian. And don't worry, I'll make sure to keep it all hidden. I'm not Mitch."
"In fact, give me your amulet, if I have it it will confuse people to think I'm the prince. It'll be easier that way."
That's too dangerous, Ian, I'm going to hold on to it--"
"Adam just give me the d*mn thing..."
Adam sighed and reached into his chestplate for the amulet. He pulled it out and reluctantly handed it to Ian.
"Good," Ian said.
"Ok the, now that that is taken care of, I really need a new chestplate, this one is kind of uncomfortable now."
Ian rolled his eyes, "Fine in the morning we'll see if Jordan will let you have anything."
"Yay!" Adam cheered. The two of them walked away from their private little corner of discussion, they didn't notice the figure hidden by some boxes that were near the area.
They didn't notice that figure watching them as the left, nor did they see his piercing eyes or clenched fists, or his gritted teeth either. He watched them with hate as they passed before muttering a single phrase, "I found you....General."
Everything here are things that have happened after Seto left. And now this book is finally done!
Don't take this out of you library yet. I plan to use this to tell you when Destiny Calls is out, and when Book 2 is out. Plus, a little later I'd like to thank you all. :)
