Chapter two

The sun was glaring in my eyes. No, no sunlight! I mumble, trying to pulling up the covers. Only. . . There weren't any covers. What the? I groan and sit up. I slowly become aware that I was no longer in Amethyst's room. Actually, I wasn't even in a house. WHAT?!? I yell, leaping to my feet. I was in a forest. A few birds flew off in fright at my yell. I look around and see Amethyst sleeping on the ground, cuddling her Garroth and Laurance plushes. Amethyst! I say, frantically shaking her. Amethyst, wake up! No. She mumbles. I don't wanna wake up. She cuddled her plushes. I don't care! We're in a freaking, forest! Get up! She opened her eyes reluctantly and looked at me. Aria? No, go back to sleep. She mumbled, closing her eyes again. Oh my God! Wake up, or I'll give all your MCD plushes to my dogs! I yell. Amethyst's eyes snap open and she sits up. No! Don't touch them! She cried, squeezing her plushes. She looked around in confusion. Uh. . . Where are we? I don't know. I say, panicking. Amethyst got up and looked at me, eyes full of fear. Aria. . . . Where we kidnapped? She whispered. Um. . . I don't know. I say, helplessly. Oh god, we were kidnapped, and now we're going to be auctioned off, or sold, or who knows what!!! She cried, throwing herself onto me and squeezing me. Amethyst, I don't think we've been kidnapped. I say, patting her back in an attempt to comfort her. How do you know?! Well, if we were kidnapped, they wouldn't just leave us here, will they? Amethyst took a shaky breath and looked at me. I. . I guess not. But if that's not it. . . Then how did we get here? Uh. . . One thing at a time. I look around. We have to find someone. We can't just sit here, and hope someone finds us. But. . . I'm scared. Amethyst. I say. Do you think I'm not scared? I assure you I am. Ok. Amethyst said, taking my hand. Let's go. I nod. I hope nothing happens. I really do.

What was that? I say, looking in the direction of a snapping twig. Uh. . . A bunny. Amethyst said, looking at the fluffy thing that hopped away in fright. Oh. . I. . . Didn't know that. I say, smiling. Amethyst laughed. Huh? I hear more ruffling. Just ignore it. She said, squeezing my hand. It's probably another bunny. Probably. I agree. Mister bunny! Please, stop making noises! I yell, playfully. Amethyst chuckled. She picked up an acorn and threw it at were the noise came from. Ow! A male voice said. Uh oh. . . I look at Amethyst. That's not a bunny. Nope. I hear footsteps and turn to see a boy, a year or two older then us. He had brownish blond hair, green eyes and pale peach skin. He wore a green coat embroidered and lined with gold, a red shirt and a black under shirt. He wore dark grey pants with gold buttons and a purple belt. His boots were made of leather and went almost to his knees. His accessories consisted of bluish white gloves, a brown satchel and. . . Oh yeah, a GIANT FREAKIN SWORD.
He had a good build, but I wasn't really noticing anything but the sword.

What he looked like.

Definitely not a bunny. Amethyst breathed. Yeah, no. The boy looked at us curiously. Hello. He said. What are you girls doing here? Amethyst squeezed my hand so hard, I couldn't feel my fingers. Uummm. . . Who are you? She asked. I'm Evan, one of the guards of Starry Night. Umm, what? I ask, confused. The village. He said, gesturing behind him. Again, what? He looked at me, concerned. Are you girls ok? Are you hurt? He asked, reaching a hand towards me. Gah, Nope! I back away. Nope, nopety nope! Stranger danger! He looked at me like I was crazy. He turned to Amethyst. Is she ok? Uuuuhhhhhhh. . . . You aren't a kidnapper are you? Not that I last checked. He said. Oh. . . Should we believe him? She asked. I look at him. He's a little young to be a kidnapper, but. . . Do you promise not to harm my friend? I promise no harm will come to you- no. I interrupt. I walk forward and hold Amethyst's hand. I look at Evan. Promise no harm will come to my friend. . . . Please. Evan looked me over, his eyes searching. I promise no harm will come too your friend. Ok, then. Take us too your village. Evan smiled. Follow me. He turned and began walking. Amethyst and I follow. I hear Amethyst mumble something, but don't look back. I don't care what happens to me. . . Amethyst has a chance at making it. I can't let her dream in vain. . . Not when she's so close. I think. A flash of memories came to mind. Amethyst running into me at singing practice, Amethyst singing her first cover, Amethyst and I singing a song together, Me singing my first Love song, Amethyst getting the news of her having to leave. . . . I shake my head to clear it. Hey. . . Evan whispers. What? Your friend. . . . He smiled. She's kinda hot. Uuhhh. . . Excuse me? Is he serious? I give him a puzzled look. He winked. Oh god, he seriously means it. I gag and switch places with Amethyst. She looks at me in confusion. Don't ask. I mumble. Suddenly, Evan stops walking. We're here. He says.

A stone pathway led into a small village. On either side of the pathway wooden houses were lined, and in the middle, was a well. Large plots held wheat, carrots, potatoes, stuff you can grow basically. A large stone building had dummies in front of it behind a fence. Woah. I say, looking around. This place kinda looks like. . . I look at Amethyst. She seemed to be thinking the same thing. She looked at me. This looks like a Minecraft village. Oh. My. Gosh. No, no way! Not possible! We can't be! Amethyst pursed her lips. Aria, I think we're in a Minecraft role play. No, way! That's not possible! I say, though I was beginning to lose hope that it wasn't. Well, what else is there?! She said, looking around. People haven't used swords, in like, a hundred years! Yeah, but- Evan. A voice interrupted me. Another guy, a few years older then us as well, was looking at us, face devoid of emotion. The heck? I think, as he approaches. He looks like one of those, emotionless anime guys. Hm, I probably watch too much anime. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and peach skin. He wore a suit of armor, sword at his side. He looked at me, then at Amethyst. Evan Quake, he said, looking at Evan. Who are these girls? He tilted his head slightly, but still his voice and face held no emotion. Ok. . . He's starting to freak me out. I found them in the forest. Evan said. I took them back here. The guy looked me and Amethyst over. How do you know they aren't spies, for Raven's Call? He asked, pointing his sword at me.

What he looked like.

Hey, get that thing outta my face! I say, irritated. Seriously, you'll poke someone's eyes out! Amethyst made an attempt to do something, but whatever it was, she wasn't able too do it, because he then turned his sword on her. Hey, stop! Come on Elias! Evan said. There girls in nightgowns, I found in the forest. I seriously doubt that there spies. Come on, man. Elias looked at me, eyes expressionless. Are you or your friend a spy? I shake my head. Hm. Very well. He placed his sword back in his hilt. But I swear to you. If you or your friend, are indeed a spy. I will find you. He stared at me, emotionless.

                  And I will kill you.
