And there wasn't a damn day Paul Vernon or Apollos didn't think about the last day she saw her alive. The way her wrist slipped away from his grasp, the sorrow in her eyes, the slight tremble of her lips, her last smile... he remembered it all like it was just yesterday. Her death haunted him day and night, whenever he would close his eyes, just everywhere he went.

Everything was planned already. They were going to live in this small cottage in southern France or in Florence, Italy and he was going to continue working in the Louvre Museum as a Curator. They were going to get married, adopt two children, and settle far away from the chaos.

It was never going to happen now.

Some people told him to move on, but how could he? When he finally found someone worth fighting for after thousands of years? He was always alone ever since Ajak, their Prime Eternal, decided to disband their group, telling them to go their own ways and start their own lives. Though she strictly instructed them not to interfere with any events occurring on Earth that weren't correlated to Deviants, Apollos broke this to help Natasha Romanoff in her pursuits.

Yes, indeed. Apollos broke his oath because he fell in love with Natasha Romanoff.

Maybe that's why she was taken away from him because he was willing to forsake the mission, ensuring the emergence of a new Celestial.

As he was still picking up the pieces of is broken heart, Ikaris, Sersi, and Sprite inform him of Ajak's death and that the Deviants have resurfaced again. He knew then it would only be a matter of time before the Emergence happened and Earth would cease to exist.

So, in that moment, he pondered: what would Nat tell me if she were here? What would she want me to do?

here we are again in the middle of the night- no wait, hello! welcome to my eternals fic and say hello to my newest oc, apollos. yes, i have finalized my decision and i can now fully confirm that i will be making an mcu series that will mostly start from phase four.

i have completed sam wilson's big three: aliens, androids, and wizards and that is vesper lynn, apollos, and cassandra mason, respectively. their story begins from saving grace's act two so if you wish to read how they kicked purple grape's ass, feel free to do so!

honestly, apollos was just supposed to be a side character, like a reason for me to just write an eternals fic but all these wonderful idea just came in and i was convinced to create an mcu series. he, vesper, and cassie are my most favorite ocs, istg-
