how do you know when the
tears you weep are done for? How
do you know if time will pause and
you'll finally be okay? Is it
better to be safe or quiet? How do you
know if it's better to say I miss you than
I love you?
How do you know?
is it deep or close? is it
moving through oceans without
guidance or keeping my eyes closed
throughout the dark abyss? how
do you know if you're real or
make believe? if you are okay
but not even stable enough to
walk out the car without
being able to think of all the deep
thoughts you keep inside?
How do you know? Will we
ever know?
