I FELL FOR SOMEONE WHO COULDN'T LOVE ME ENOUGH

and if I ever find the person
who could ever love me
the way I wish to be loved,
the way I deserved to be loved,
I want them to remember
the sound of the leaves on the trees
at one in the morning
and the clothes thrown on the floor
from one hell of a night.
I deserve to be remembered
by the color of my lips
when I paint them purple
and to be looked at
wildly when I'm bored
and singing music at the top
of my lungs. I guess this
will or may not ever happen
but it's never ending. If you can't
handle my circumstances,
then you damn sure do not
deserve to love me.
