HUMANELY ALONE

have you ever felt humanely alone?
oh you have, we all have.
see there's my problem
I'm very vocal on how I feel,
I say what's on top of my head
and what rolls off my tongue.
I complain too much
and talk too much
wasting my breath on those
who care less and listen too little.
I expect too much
and receive so little from humans..
and I don't believe words
can hurt me anymore
not since I learned how not to care.
it's hard to expect what you never could receive.
