and I'm with people
who understand
what it feels to be
happy but not truly happy
and we don't care what others
think, we just do our thing
dancing in the middle of the road
and singing off key to

past old ex lovers,
this type of friendship
don't come easy but
all of us are young
and we do whatever we please
so exit that way if you don't
fuck with us that way
but we love each other
in the sense that
at the end of the day
we are still who we are
and past midnight is where
we are anything but sane
but why should i complain
we still do our own thing..
