CAN'T BE LIKE ME

no; you're no good
at what you say
all you do is lie
and constantly destroy
to help cover what you
hurt and hide inside.
have them all fooled
with the dark things
inside your brain
but I believe for seconds
and realize that hours
can lead to dangerous paths.
you're not original and
I am not going to sugarcoat
the things I know;
your poetry is "pathetic"
don't think I forgot it
and don't try to deny it.
let's name the things that
make it pathetic: zero.
you're just a little bit
too shy to admit you're
unoriginal and wanna be like me,
but don't worry
the truth will find its light.
but we are all fools
in the end, you
just were the biggest one.
fuck it and fuck you too.
I won't pretend anymore
but you can't be like me,
these books are sacred to me
and I can lay down
all the things that keep me up
at night. this book
is the dream I'm living in.
Art is good for the souls
who need time to heal,
and this is what I do
and if you don't remember
the lies you said to make me hurt
it's all written down already
I never forget the things
that hurt me.
I tried to be there
but you're just so
wrong and I can't be there
for those who intend
to honestly hurt you
for their wellbeing.
I don't pretend
and I'm honest,
sorry that you
felt the need to pretend
in pictures and words
and social media.
just admit
before the world recognizes
and stops giving a fuck about you.
past will always be the past but you know better than to lie to my face. I'm serious about what I do, how about you?
