Chapter 23: Cheesyness Overload
Chapter 23
Gloss Kaiser Schlund
Cheesyness Overload
We snuck kisses at janitor's closet. Empty classrooms. New rooms. New building. Rooftop. Restrooms. Stalls. Behind the school. Behind the tree. Under the bush. Name a place near or around the school, we'd probably kissed there.
We've done our best to cover our kisses, and our relationship. I don't know if he is now my boyfriend. He hasn't asked me yet, but I'm waiting. I want us to be official.
Noah and Chelsie are still dating. They are still boyfriend-girlfriend. So what does that make me for Noah? Chelsie should be out of the picture now. Noah likes me. It's possible for Noah to like others. But I'm selfish for him. I want Noah to like only me.
My phone buzzes, snapping me out of my deep thoughts. The triple dings tone makes me snap my head at my cellphone. The screen is lit up, flashing '1 message'. I grab my cellphone and check the message. It's from Noah.
'I want to kiss you :* xxx'
I laugh at his mushy text. This is so not Noah. I'm glad that I have the ability to make a mushy side of Noah appear. Biting my bottom lip, I reply.
'Then kiss me. Kiss me like a ninja would do.'
Wow. Kiss me like a ninja would do, is probably the cheesiest and flirtiest words I have ever made up of.
Hiding our relationship, sneaking kisses, and hugging without someone seeing us are kind og thrilling. It makes me giddy with excitement. I've never been a rebel in my whole life. Noah made me do things I wasn't supposed to do. I've changed into something new.
The phone's screen lights up, indicating that there's a new message for me. I open it.
'Okay, i'd kiss you like a ninja would do. it'll be quick and u won't even notice it'. The text says.
I'm now regretting my last reply. I'm not sure now if I want a ninja kiss. I want a long, passionate kiss. As in make-out. That includes moaning and heavy breathing. That kind of kiss. I don't, now, want a ninja kiss anymore. Shaking my head, frowning, thinking if Noah is really being serious about our kiss being 'quick'. My phone buzzes again.
'You there?'
5 minutes have passed. I've been thinking about the ninja kiss. That made - still am - angry to myself.
'Yea'
'Oi, wait. i'll just go to somewhere important'. He replies back.
I frown. Somewhere important? Where could that be? That lonely question makes me suspicious. Somewhere important, ha. I shift myself on the bed, sprawling my legs apart and wide. I'm just wearing a grey sweatpants with no top. It's so cold in this room, but the thick blanket wrapped around me is bringing me warm and comforth as it hugs my body tightly.
The door suddenly bursts open. Noah is grinning at me happily.
"Gloss! Gloss! This is the 'important place'!" He says cheekily. His impudently manner is making me laugh. He said it like it's obvious, and obviously, he shouted it. Good thing the maids have come home just an hour ago, so the house is pretty empty except for us.
"Cheesy," I sing, laughing as he waltz his way towards my way. He closes the door.
Noah shakes his head as he takes a seat on the edge of my bed. He grabs my foot (the hems of my sweatpants are rolled up to my knees) and his big, rough yet soft hand envelopes my foot, that travels throughout my whole body, with heat. The prickling sensation is too overwhelming. His heat radiates through me, and I draw in a deep breath as he starts to rub his hand across my foot. He looks at me with those amazing royal blue eyes. I have just noticed that, whenever Noah is interested on something, his eyes glow, twinkling as he ogles. It's like light emanates from his gorgeous eyes.
"Noah..." I pant. The air I've been saving is now gone, already emerging in the air. He crawls on top of me until we're face to face. I'm now laying on my back as I stare at his jaw-dropping beautiful eyes.
His eyes flicker down my neck, eyeing it lustfully. Clamping my neck with my hands, his eyes bore into my eyes and I nearly melt. He leans down and brushes his lips against mine, barely touching. He frustrates me when he does that. Groaning, I put a palm on the back of his neck and push him onto me roughly, his lips colliding with mine.
Noah's warm mouth envelopes mine with a heat of passion and desire. He lightly rests his whole body - with no space at all; chest to chest, legs to legs, groin to groin - on top of mine, not breaking the heated kiss. He then begins to kiss my jawline, planting hot kisses all over it. Every touch of his lips against my skin is burning me unexplainable feeling. It covers my whole body.
The feeling is too overwhelming. I can't handle this. But I'm managing to hold on.
He begins to suck my Adam's apple, and I find myself leaning up, to give him more access on my neck. His hands roam around my body, rubbing, touching, pinching, squeezing
everywhere.
"What are you doing to me, Gloss?" He rasps as he pushes himself up with his hands, looking at me.
"You, why are you making me feel this way?" I question back at him.
His lips curve into a smile, and we both laugh, shaking our heads. He rolls off of me, and hugs me from behind, my back resting on his chest. He buries his face at the back of my neck, his nose tickling me. I let out a giggle, which is not so manly - like a little girl's giggle. Now that he has heard my giggle, that urges Noah to do it more. The giggling turns into laughing.
He stops. I turn around and see the smile - a smile that rarely appears on Noah's face; a smile that is full of sincerity and happiness; a smile that makes me almost melt, that almost turns me into a puddle - that reaches his ears.
"I'm so happy you're finally mine," he whispers, his royal blue eyes piercing into mine. It holds so much emotions. "Very."
"Well, you're lucky," I tease, laughing.
"I'm lucky, right." He says sarcastically, rolling his eyes, but the smile is still plastered on his face.
"Hmpf!" I whine fakely, flipping my hair as if it's long and wavy. Noah laughs and tightens his arms around me.
We just lay there, watching each other, listening to each other's breathing. The room is now warm, and is filled with Noah's manly scent. The scent of him is appealing and very sweet. It invades my nose like soldiers going war-freak. I find myself smiling.
Noah runs his hand through my hair. I can practically hear his heart pounding against his ribcage, like a drum.
Mom and Richard are going back home tomorrow. They called us, told us that they're going home tomorrow and they have lots of things for us. Typical Mom.
Dad used to shop with Mom. Whenever they went home, they had things for me. Whether it's foods or useful things. The last time Dad brought me something was since forever. He bought me a cellphone. It was an iPhone. But it's customized. Since then, I started using that phone, carried it around me all the time, protected it. I'm still doing those things for that phone. My mom gave me a new phone, said that I should change my cellphone, but I refused, still, I accepted her gift.
"Gloss?" He whispers. I look up at him and watch him watch me.
"Mmm?"
"Would you like to go on a date with me?" Noah asks me as he combs my hair with his finger. I study his face, searching for any hints of joke. I wait for him to say 'it's a complete joke, why would I go on a date with you?', but he won't. He doesn't.
Hesitantly, I nod, smiling up at him. "Yes, I'd love to go on a date with you, Noah."
"Seems like you don't want to,"
"No!" I protest quickly, frowning at him. "It's not like I don't want to. People we know, or know us, might see us."
Nobody has to know our relationship. Not now. We are not ready yet. But I'm waiting for Noah to say 'I want to go public and tell all the people about us'. I'm waiting for Noah. He isn't ready yet. I am not ready yet. We need time to figure things out. On our own.
People might see us. So we need to be careful. If they see us, they'd ask questions. And next to questions is more questions. People nowadays are narrow-minded. They'd think of the worst possible things. And dating Noah belongs to 'worst possible' things.
"We'll go somewhere far enough," he states softly. "Don't worry. No one will see us. I promise."
"I trust you, Noah." I say, half warning him. Although my tone is soft, I'm sure he got the message, because he nods eagerly and pecks my cheek. "So, the date is going to be..."
"Tomorrow night," he says, grinning from ear to ear. "I'll pick you up here in your room." He chuckles.
"Yeah," I say, chuckling with him. I frown. "What should we say when Mom or Richard...err, Dad see us?"
"We should say we're going to hang out with our friends."
"Okay,"
"Be ready,"
"I will!"
Tomorrow night is definitely going to be the best date I will ever have!
