I opened my eyes and scanned the whole room. Where is this girl. Shit!!!! It's her first day at work and here look at her husband, sleeping. You are an idiot manik.

Manik immediately ran downstairs and the scene infront of him made him roll on the floor laughing.

Na: manik stop laughing ( angry)

Ma: Ohk Ohk ( controlling his laugh) but yeh hua Kaise ( pointing towards nandani who was drenched in pancake batter)

Na: I was trying to make pancake but it's not happening ( looking at the batter)

Ma: Tumhe cooking nhi aati na? ( rising his eyebrows)

Na: nhi ( looking down being embarrassed)

Ma: chill, Mujhe aata h ( laughing)

Na: oh thank god, toh tum breakfast bna do main ready hokar aati hu ( going to room)

Ma: hadh h ( shouting from back)

Na: pati Ho

Manik smiled listening to her. He made the pancake and juice. Nandani came down after taking her time to get ready. She saw her husband arranging dishes on the table. Perfect isn't he? She thought and move towards him.

Manik looked up at the staircase and saw nandani coming down. Seeing her first time in short dress blow his mind. She look hot. Thought he.

Na: Mani am I looking good? ( nervous)

Ma: nandu you look perfect. But why are you so nervous.

Na: it's my first day.

Ma: so what, you just got transferred here. Work is same na.

Na: hmm( smiling looking at her, but then her gaze fell on the watch) oh shitt I'm getting late.

Ma: have breakfast and then go.

Na: nhi Mani I will get late.

Ma: Aree but.

Na: please Mani, I will have something their.

Ma: okay wait, I will drop you

Na: be fast.

Saying this nandani went out and sat on the passenger seat, waiting for manik. Manik came after few minutes, and sat on the driving seat.

Ma: here you go ( giving her a lunch box)

Na: Mani their was no need for this. ( taking it)

Ma: oh hello, Kitni mehnat se Maine breakfast bnaya aur Tum bina khaye chali jati. Hadh h. ( pouting)

Na: Kitni nautanki karte ho Tum. (nodding her head in disbelief)

Manik laughed. He dropped her to the hospital, and drove back home after wishing her best of luck. Manik entered the house. He saw Dhruv and cabir sitting their with cabir munching fruits.

Cab: kha tha Tu manik. Pta h main Tumhare bina Kitna akela hogya hu (dramatically)

Ma: Hatt bey, tune toh Mujhe yaad bhi nhi kiya hoga.( rolling his eyes)

Dhr :Sahi kha manik, yeh toh khane main busy tha.

Cab: I'm hurt guys

Ma: I'm not. ( all laughed at this)

Dhr: Vaise manik nandani kha h

Ma: she is at the hospital. ( casually, sitting beside cabir)

Cab: what happened to her ( worried)

Ma: Aree she is a doctor, cardiologist.

Cab: Wahh.. I'm impressed.

Dhr: me too.

Cab: dil ki doctor ne manik ka dil chura liya.( Dhruv laugh at this while cabir smriks)

Dhr: on a serious note, manik are you happy with her?

Cab: Dhruv Iski khushi iske cehre se jhalak rhi h. ( smriking)

Ma: ( ignoring cabir) guys I'm really happy. She is the same girl. ( excitedely)

Cab: you mean that balloon girl? ( shocked)

Ma: yeah, ( blushing a little)

Dhr: wait.. What balloon girl? ( confused)

Ma: last year when I went to Los Angeles

Flashback..

Manik was sitting on the back seat, while driver was driving the car. It's was around 10 in night and not much people were their. His car stopped at the signal. Manik looked outside the window. His eyes got stuck on something. He was not able to move a away his gaze.

A girl maybe in her twenties was standing their with few kids around her. Manik eyes roam from her big doe shaped eyes to her pink luscious lips which were laughing. Her long black silky hairs. Who was she, an angel? Thought he.

She was distributing balloons among kids., laughing and talking with them. Kids kissed her cheeks in affection. For the first time, manik felt jealous of those small kids. How lucky they are. Thought he.

But his gazing session got over as car start moving. He sighed as she move out of his sight. A beautiful smile was playing on his lips. He knew, he has fallen for that beauty.

End.

Dhr : oh my god, manik you are damn lucky. ( happily)

Cab: actually main manik, you both are meant to be. I'm really happy for you two ( hugging him, genuinely)

Ma: thank you guys.

Dhr: Aaj sham ko kahi chale.

Ma: yeah but where?

Cab: Aree sham ko decide Kar lege. Abhi office chale.

Ma: I will be ready in 5 minutes.

Manik immediately ran to his room to get ready while cabir ran to kitchen sensing pancakes smell. Dhruv laughed at them.

Soon, the day got over with manik, Dhruv and cabir busy in malhotra industries and nandani busy in hospital.

Around, 7 Nandani's phone start ringing. She looked at her phone and frowned. It was a unknown number. She picked it up but before she could speak, the caller start speaking.

Caller : nandu come outside. I'm waiting for since long.

Na: manik mujhe kaise pta hoga ki Tum mera wait Kar rhe ho.

Ma: Aree humne saath phere kiye, saath janam ka rista h hamara aur Tum mujhe feel bhi nhi Kar pati Ho. I'm hurt nandani ( dramatically)

Na: tumhe main 7 din nhi jhel paa rhi hu tum saath janam ki baat Kar rhe ho ( teasing tone)

Ma: how can you say that nandu. I'm hurt.( dramatically)

Na: I'm not.

Ma: you are rude.

Na: bye

Ma: are kyu, I'm sorry if you felt bad.

Na: Mani tum puri raat phone par baat karni h, main phone rahugi Tabhi sab wrap karke bahar aa paugi.

Ma: Ohhhhhh Thik h. Bye.

Nandani chuckled at her dramatic husband. She quickly wrap up her things and move outside.
