hello, i'm back but not with a chapter yet. I'm really sorry about the wait and i'm here with some important news so please bear with me.

so i had started this story in middle school, and being a small twelve year old i fell in love with the keepers of the lost cities. it was probably one of my favorite series at the time and keefe was definitely my favorite fictional character of all times. now i grew out of it as have many people of many different things, and i picked up different interests. it had been years since i read the books (i started to read them when exile came out aka my favorite of her series) and i started to forget what happened. i started to not feel motivated to write anymore, and not only did i lose interest in reading, but i did in writing as well.

i have recently started to read often again, since a book called six of crows was probably one of the greatest books i've read yet brought me back in and i've been back at writing a lot for a while.

you're probably wondering what any of this has to do with anything, but i felt like i should let you guys know why the updates have stopped.

but i have news okay -
so one of my in real life friend who used to like keepers of the lost cities with me said that the newest book was really good and she told me there were sokeefe moments and stuff (and some pretty funny stuff at that) today so i'm going to read lodestar and the newest book so guess what that means

i'm gonna start updating soon. i'm not sure how soon, definitely after i finish both books, plan for it (:
i would say there might be around three to four more chapters? before when i planned this book i planned a whole second book as well but i don't think i'm gonna follow up with it all.
