Your P.O.V
"W-what do you w-want to talk a-about?" You stutter as you approach him.
He crosses his arms and gives you a stern look.
"Why was the old fox not in the storage room today?"
"U-umm. I'm not sure." You say in a fear stricken voice.
"You can't lie to me. I can easily fire you right here and now, so you better tell me the truth."
You gulp as you begin to start shaking in front of him.
"I took him home with me." You say in a barely audible whisper.
"What was that?"
"I said I took him home with me."
"And why did you do that? Better question is how did you do that? those things weigh a ton."
"He walked out himself."
"Impossible."
"Why?"
"I made sure they wouldn't be able to turn on."
"Why would you do that?"
"I didn't want anymore humanoid animatronics walking around at night?"
"Humanoid animatronics?"
"You think I didn't know that these guys can be human?"
"I thought no one knew."
"I know, and only for one reason."
"What's the reason?"
"I'm one of them."
You gives you a grin as he bends over and starts to transform in front of your eyes. You watch as his clothes become black, with white stripes on the sleeves. His face becomes a pale white, with purple streaks coming from his eyes. His cheeks are a bright red and his eyes are pitch black with small white pupils. He stands up fully again and gives you a grin. His entire appearance reminds you of a puppet.
"How did you do that?"
"I'm the reason that any of the animatronics can turn human."
"Really?"
"I'm the one that figured out the secret to the whole transformation thing."
"How did you do that?"
"It's a bit too complicated. I'll explain it to you someday."
"Thank you."
"No problem."
"So, how come you aren't one of the attractions here?"
"I decided I'd rather run the place than be just a animatronic that only gets to move freely at night."
"So you bought the place and bought new animatronics?"
"Actually, there used to be a an old pizzeria, before the one that I had bought. I was an attraction there, though not many kids like to see me. When that one closed down, me and the others stayed together. I helped fix them back into proper shape for the two decades or so. Once I had them all fixed properly again, I bought that old pizzeria and put the originals back into place. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the others."
I weird feeling enters your body. 'That sounds familiar. Wasn't it in the letter that the "P" guy said he was fixing up something? There's no way that Nick could have been that exact person could it? Probably not. It's probably just a coincidence.' you think to yourself as you continue to look at him.
"You aren't going to hurt them are you?"
"Probably not. Why do you care if I do or don't anyways?"
"I'm in love with Foxy, and they are my new family."
"New family?"
"My mother died awhile ago and my dad supposedly died a couple weeks ago. But I think he's still alive and trying to kill me."
"Do you know why he's trying to kill you?"
"I think so. He blames me for my mothers death. I think that may be why he's trying to kill me. He wants me dead just like my mother is."
"Does he have a violent past?"
You shift uncomfortably at that question. Images of the dead kids run through your mind, and you can almost smell the horrible decayed smell that came from the mangled corpses.
"Yes."
"Do you know what he did."
"He was the murderer of five children from the old pizzeria. I even saw the dead bodies in the backyard to prove it. He also had an accomplice, but I only ever knew that he went by P. I think he's the one that had planned the murders and my father was the one that carried it out."
"That's a pretty violent history. Why didn't you call the cops when you found out?"
"I'm not sure how much good that would have done. He was MIA when I discovered all of this. Even if I had called the police there was probably nothing that they could have done."
"Well that's too bad. He deserves to go to jail for doing such a horrible act."
"Or die. But he doesn't seem to die that easily."
"Why do you say that?"
"Foxy pretty much beat him until he was dead, but somehow he's still alive."
"That's creepy."
You nod your head and look at him. 'What the hell is he?' Runs through your head as you do. You get enough courage and decide to ask him.
"What are you exactly?"
"I'm a marionette. People used to call me Puppet, some people still do. But I really prefer it if people called me Nick."
The feeling returns as you hear this information. 'Puppet? This is becoming too much like a perfect puzzle. He can't possibly be the one that planned the children's killings. Can he? But everything I've learned about him points to the fact that he is. Maybe if I find Goldy he can help. He was the person who got the best look at the hooded figured back at the fight at the pizzeria. But where is he?'
"Hey Nick, do you by chance happen to know where Goldy is? He hasn't been home for awhile now and the last time I saw him he was here."
A develops glint enters his eyes but vanishes in a couple seconds. 'Weird'
"No. I haven't seen him. I saw him leave out the back door after his shift last time he worked. Maybe he didn't want to see you anymore an decided to go and do his own thing."
"That doesn't sound like the Goldy I know. Goldy would never do anything like that. If he did he would at least tell me first instead of just running away."
"People change Y/N."
"I'm sad that it had to be Goldy though. My house is going to be a lot more empty now that he's gone."
"You can take the old animatronics home with you if you really want. They just sit here and do nothing all day anyways. And you said that they were your new family right?"
"Yes. They are the only people I have left really."
"Take them home with you then. They can stay in the human forms all day and not have to worry. They can try and have as normal as a life that they can."
"Are you sure that I can take them home with me? All of them?"
"Yes. Just be a bit careful. They may not be fully used to their human forms yet. So just be careful around them, ok?"
"Ok."
"Oh, they may also not know what most things are, so it'll be like training little kids."
"I'm pretty sure I can handle that."
A bell rings signalling the 12 am bell.
"I better get going and leave you to go your job. Have a nice night Y/N, and if you need any help or anything, here's my cell number. I have it with my all the time so I probably won't miss your call."
He hands you a card with his name and a phone number printed on it. He changes back to his human form and heads out the front of the pizzeria. Leaving you alone in the pizzeria with the animatronics. 'Better go tell the family the good news.' You walk off towards the storage room excited to tell them the good news.
