4| stitches

(a/n recap: Shawn and Allison kissed!!!)

Allie POV
I feel the kiss deepen into something more, our lips moving in sync with each other. When we finally pull away, Shawn smiles at me and I smile back. This was the first time I had ever kissed a guy. It was exciting and powerful, and everything I had ever thought it would be.

"What's wrong?" Shawn asks.

"Well, that was my f-first kiss." I say. I can feel my cheeks heat up as I tell him.

Shawn POV
I can't believe what she said. I was her first kiss?

"Wow, really? You were amazing!" I say enthusiastically.

"Thanks." She blushes.

Then my song "Stitches" comes on. Really? Who put this on the playlist? Matt. He couldn't have made a playlist without any of my songs on it? He will hear about this.

"Oh look it's your song!" Allie shouts over the loud music.

"Yeah, I guess it is." I say.

"Come, let's dance!" She says.

So we walk over to the dance floor and dance, as she requested. We are screaming the words, and having a great time. Suddenly, I feel Allie tap on my shoulder.

"I-I'll be right back, I, um, have to go to the washroom." she says nervously.

"Okay, is everything okay?" I ask worriedly.

"Y-yes." She says, and walks towards the washrooms. I decide to find Matt, because I haven't talked to him since I have been here.

Allie POV
I see a familiar face looking lost near the front door. I would know that face anywhere. Justine.

"I-i'll be right back," I tell Shawn as I tap him on the shoulder. "I, um, have to go to the washroom." Come on, Allie, if you stutter, he's gonna know something is wrong.

"Okay, is everything okay?" He asks worriedly.

"Y-yes, I'm fine." I stutter as I walk towards the washrooms, which are near the front entrance. Then I see her.

"Justine? What are you doing here?" I ask hesitantly. She hasn't talked to me in years.

"Oh, how funny. I was actually looking for you." She says with a smirk on her face.

"What? How did you know I was here?"

"Word on the street says you have a new friend. Oh, not just anybody, but Shawn Mendes?"

"W-what are you t-talking about?"

"Don't lie to me, Allison. I know you well enough to know that you stutter when you're nervous or when you're trying to hide something."

"P-please just s-stay away from m-
me, I d-don't want to t-talk to y-you."

"Oh, poor little Allie. Are you scared of something?" She asks with a smirk.

Just then, I hear a voice come from behind me.

"Allie, are you okay?" Shawn asks. I turn around. I am very scared, so I stay by his side. He puts his arm around me.

"Oh would you look who it is, it's your little superman coming to save you!"
She says harshly, "No offense, but no one can save you from the true reality. You just aren't good enough. For me, for him-"

"Don't you talk to her like that." Shawn yells out.

"Aw, I hope you know I'm not scared of you."

I look around and realize that we now have a crowd. Then a couple of security guards come over and talk to Justine.

"Excuse me, ma'am, but you are going to have to leave. You are disrupting this party." one of them says sternly.
Him and one of the other guards take her arms and start to drag her towards the door.

"Oh, you'll see, I'm not done with you yet. Not even close. This is just the beginning of me making your life a living hell." Justine smirks.

Once they take her away, Shawn looks down at me. "Who the hell is that?" He asks.

"J-Justine." I stutter.

"Okay, let me take you home. We can go to my house and talk about this, if you want." He says kindly. At that moment I realize that I have been crying. Shawn strokes my cheek and wipes the tears away. "It's going to be okay. Whoever that is, we will stop her." He reassures me. Then he kisses my cheek.

"C-can I at least meet the boys before we leave?" I giggle.

"I think I can make that happen. You go to the washroom and clean yourself up." He smiles, "I'll go find them for you."

(a/n how was that chapter? I wanted to add some drama to this story. I hope you like it ;)

I called this chapter "Stitches" for two reasons, one is because stitches comes on at the party, second because Allie will need "stitches" for what Justine did to her. Hopefully not physically!

You guys will find out about Allie's past with Justine soon. I hope it's not too much suspense for you!
