2 years later. bbq. day in the life.

Two years went by quickly. Especially for Taehyung and Jungkook. It has been two years since they graduated, went to school, had basketball games and had Ara.

Watching Ara grow was a sight to see, an emotional rollercoaster as she took her first steps and learnt how to walk.

Witnessing her becoming curious about her surroundings, picking up on things she is starting to recognise. Her bed is one of her favourite things.

She loves her bedroom. Listening to her call out to her 'Dada' and 'Papa' always melted the male's heart. 'Dada' is Taehyung and 'Papa' is Jungkook.

Their lives have been crazy since they left school, a good crazy. Taehyung loves not going to school, he thought he would miss it, but he does not— even for a second.

The biggest news of them all was that the two males got married. Marriage was something that Jungkook always wanted.

He believed in true love, and watching his parents, who are in a healthy marriage, always made him want to be married. The raven waited a year after they finished college to propose. It was magical.

He took Taehyung on a date. He had a little area on the beach set up, and as they talked, Jungkook could not help but to stare at the male as he spoke.

He always talked about how handsome Taehyung is, how sometimes he admires his face— not paying attention to what he was saying. He felt like the luckiest person on earth when Taehyung said yes.

The brunette was over the moon. They never talked about marriage. It was never a topic they brought up.

It was a complete surprise when they were about to swim in the water that Jungkook had grabbed his hand, giving the most sweetest speech before getting down on one knee. 'I want to spend the rest of my life with you, with Ara, ' those words replaying in his head as if it was a song.

"Babe?" Taehyung heard Jungkook call out to him from behind the bathroom door. "Yup", He replied, giving a slight chuckle when he saw the raven poke his head in— letting out a whistle.

His eyes landed on Taehyung, sitting on the bathroom floor, hands rubbing lotion into his tan legs and thighs. "Ara has had her breakfast, and I got her bag ready, so I think we are ready to go", Jungkook stated, watching as Taehyung nodded his head.

"Okay, I will be done in like five minutes", The brunette replied, quickly standing up when his husband shut the door. They both had work today.

Taehyung still works at a cafe but a different one. His own cafe. Kreme is what the cafe is called. After finishing school, he had worked heaps with Jin, working full-time— trying to figure out what he wanted to do in life.

As time passed, he realised he loved working at the cafe but wished he could make changes, so he started looking into his own business. It has its benefits. He helps students get into jobs and help them get onto their feet.

Also, if Ara wants to work here one day, she could. Jungkook still works at the college, being a coach for students who wish to play basketball or enjoy a career in one. The raven had an opportunity to make a career out of his passion. He turned it down.

Maybe if he did not have Ara, he might of, but having her changed his life. He would not change a thing. He loved his job and making a difference in students' lives.

Being their support system and role model was something Jungkook was proud of. Taehyung walked out of the bathroom, grabbing his work bag before leaving the lounge. They still lived in the same apartment.

They love it there. They made it their own in the past two years. They decorated Ara's room to her interests and taste. They hired a painter to paint a mural on one of the walls of unicorns, as that is what Ara has been into for a while now.

"There is my baby girl", Taehyung gasped, spreading his hands out as he watched her slide off the couch— giggling as she ran towards him.

"You ready for daycare, baby?" The brunette pecked her cheek when she nodded, calling out to her 'Papa', who was holding her bag. "I can drop her off today, Ggukkie. The cafe does not open until another hour anyways" Taehyung smiled, and Jungkook nodded as he walked towards them.

He handed Taehyung the bag, pecking Ara's forehead and then cheek. "Have a great day, sweetheart", Jungkook whispered to Ara before pecking Taehyung's lips.

"See you later, babe", Jungkook whispered before jogging out the room after realising he was running late.

"To the daycare, we go!" After saying bye to Ara and going to the cafe, he unlocked everything. Making sure the place smelled nice, he flicked on some music and started to take down the chairs. "You here?" Jimin questioned as he walked in with his work bag.

"Yeah, I decided I would help today since it was a public holiday yesterday. It is going to be busy," Taehyung muttered after placing down all the chairs.

"Okay, I will go sort out everything in the back." Jimin was the cafe manager; the male loved baking and cooking and studied to become a chef, but it was hard to find a placement. So when he heard his close friend owns a cafe, he decided to ask him if he could use the cafe for his placement.

Taehyung agreed. No need to take heaps of time to answer that one. He wanted to help Jimin out, and it was also going to help him as if he could not show to the cafe, Jimin would be the next in charge.

"Did Ara have any troubles getting to daycare this time?" Jimin yelled out from the back. "No, she did well today. Maybe she just slept better last night," Taehyung said after wiping the tables.

"Is Yoongi back from his business trip?"

"Yeah, he came back yesterday. He looks happy. It is nice seeing everyone happy" Jimin smiled, looking at the brunette who nodded, agreeing. After they got the place ready, Taehyung opened the doors. Ready for a busy day.

"One more lap, then we will do some passes before the end of class", Jungkook yelled towards the students, who nodded, running towards the wall they were meant to touch before running back towards him.

"If it isn't my favourite couch" Jungkook turned around at the voice, a bright smile on his face when he saw Ryan walking in— arms spread as his chest collides with Jungkook's.

"I missed you, man", Ryan muttered.

"I missed you too. It is so good to see you" Jungkook smiled.

"Come, come," Jungkook said, pulling him towards his office. "How have you been? It feels like it has been forever!" The raven shut the office door.

Ryan chuckled, sitting on Jungkook's office chair as he spun around. "I saw you at least a month ago. I went to New Zealand for a business trip and recently returned and thought I should pop in. How are Tae and Ara?"

"They are both great. They miss you. Ara has been asking for her uncle Rayray" Jungkook smiled, looking at the picture frame on his desk of Ara, Taehyung and himself. Ryan followed his gaze, soon letting out a chuckle.

"I have a picture like that on my desk of us four. I cherish that picture." Ryan has never been a sentimental guy, but he treats Ara as if she is his niece.

That is why Taehyung calls Ryan Ara's uncle. Jungkook had a special place in his heart for Ryan. He always looked out for him, Taehyung and Ara.

He is always looking out for Taehyung. When he is not around will always stick in his head. "How about after I finish my shift, we can pick Ara up and visit Taehyung at the cafe? Let's contact everyone and have some dinner there," Jungkook offered.

"Sounds good" Ryan nodded, a smile reaching from ear to ear at the idea. As the shift went by, Ryan decided to say hi to a few teachers before they left to pick up Ara.

Jungkook and Ryan both walked into the daycare to see Ara playing with play dough. She turned around when she heard her name get called.

"Uncle wrayray!" She giggled, throwing the playdough to the floor as she ran towards Ryan, who was in front of Jungkook, kneeling down to pick her up.

"Oh, my sweet girl! I missed you!" Ryan gasped, picking her up. Jungkook watched the sweet interaction. Ara has great people around her and a great support net.

The raven loved watching his friends and family gush over her. Jungkook checked his watch to see that the cafe should have just closed. Once Jungkook parked his car, they walked towards the cafe.

"Hey, did you drive to the school?" Jungkook questioned, brushing Ara's hair day out of her face. "No, I caught a cab", Ryan chuckled, opening the door for Jungkook to enter.

"Sorry, we just close-" Taehyung started as soon as he heard the door open and soon turned around.

"Oh, my gosh," The brunette squealed as soon as his eyes laid upon Ryan, who had his arms spread wide. Taehyung ran up to him and jumped.

"I missed you" He laughed when Ryan spun him around before putting him down.

"I missed you more. Jungkook thought about how we should all grab dinner, sit down and chat" Ryan shrugged.

"That sounds great!" Taehyung said, patting Ryan's cheek before walking over to Jungkook.

"Hi, my baby" Taehyung pecked Ara's cheek.

"Hi, my love" He smiled, pecking Jungkook's lips softly before walking towards the computer.

"Have you texted the others?"

"Yeah, I have", Jungkook replied

"I will order some food. Ryan, do you wanna make a long table for everyone to sit on" Taehyung called out from behind the counter.

"Yes, sir", Ryan joked before he started pushing tables together. "Hey, Ray!" Jimin called out, hands filled with dishes, as Ryan rushed over to him.

"I missed you. Bestie," Ryan pecked his cheek. Jungkook rolled his eyes, letting out a chuckle.

"Wassup bitches!" Namjoon yelled after pushing the door open as Jin and himself stepped into the cafe.

"Still the same old Namjoon", Jungkook laughed, shaking Namjoon's hand to pull him into a hug.

"How is your mother, she doing better?""Yeah, so much better. She is resting at home. Jin and I dropped some food off to her before you texted us."

"Great to hear, guys", Jungkook smiled.

"Grab whatever drinks you guys want. Help yourself," Taehyung yelled, still typing away on the computer.

"Hey, Tae", Jin called, leaning against the counter.

"Hi! I was about to say it has been long since I saw you, but we went for a coffee yesterday."Jin laughed, ruffling the male's hair.

"I will help make drinks", Jin sang, walking behind the counter. As everyone arrived slowly, the cafe began to look more packed. Jin, Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook, Ryan, Josh, Harry, Jiu, Choi, Sebastian, Kai and Mark.

Everyone was there, all Jungkook's previous basketball players and their friends. The environment was their favourite, all their friends together.

They all laughed, drank, had a good time, and shared memories from college and the future. Taehyung laced his fingers together with Jungkook's, smiling when the male looked at him.

The coach kissed his forehead before they both looked toward their friends. All of them were around the table, laughing and talking. This is what family was all about. Family is not just people you're blood-related to. It's the love people give you.

You don't have to be blood-related to see people as family. This is Taehyung's happiness, watching Ara giggle at Ryan and Jungkook making silly faces, everyone laughing, eating and joking around.

"Ayo Taehyung, would you let me eat at this cafe for free?" Harry questioned from the end of the table.

"What would I get in return?" Taehyung questioned, eyebrows raised. "How does weed sound?" Harry offered, soon getting chips thrown at home while the table laughed.

"I was joking, ouch!" Harry complained, the group laughing along with him.
