46 | dinner with the neighbours

"You know what they say, a blow job in the morning keeps those bad days away," Jungkook said, eyes trained on the road as they drove to school after dropping Ara off at daycare.

"I am going to pretend you did not say that", Taehyung chuckled, shaking his head as he hopped out of the car after the male parked it. Jungkook smiled. He loved making his boyfriend laugh.

"What do you have first?" Jungkook questioned, hands linked with Taehyung's as they walked inside the campus.

"I have art. What about you?"

"I have training."

"Does your training replace your classes now?" Taehyung questioned

"Only a few of them. I already handed my last assignment to the teacher so that I can spend time with the boys training for the game."

"Are you going to see Jiu?" Jungkook asked as they stopped in the middle of the hallway.

"Yeah, did you want to come?" He questioned, hands pointing towards the classroom door.

"No, it is okay. I need to go chat with Ryan anyways."

"See you soon" Jungkook pecked the male's lips before walking down the hallway.

Taehyung smiled a little, walking towards the classroom that Jiu was in.

"Aye! your finally here!" She squealed, rushing from the couch to pull him into a hug.

"I missed you", She whispered.

"I missed you too," Taehyung whispered, hugging her back. They both walk towards the couches.

"Rosie? she not here today?"

"No, I enrolled her into the daycare you suggested. She started today," Jiu stated, clearly a little worried. Taehyung understood. He felt the same way when it was Ara's first day.

"They will contact you if they need anything. We had to pick Ara up the other day cause she was grumpy and crying. They did not want to overwhelm her, so we just decided to get her. It is normal for them to be a little upset. They should eventually get used to it," Taehyung comforted her, giving her a warm smile.

She nodded, passing him a cup of tea she made while he was giving her advice.

"How have you been after last week?" She softly asked. Taehyung knew she was not being nosey. He knew she really cared for him.

"A lot better, I still have the bruises and scars, but for the first couple of days, the pain was real" He let out a little chuckle.

"I am on medication to help me with the pain. It is magic, honestly."

"I am glad to hear that. Have they figured out who hurt you?"

"No, two officers visited me the other day and asked questions. I am assuming someone comes here, which is scary cause I could be walking past the people who hurt me. They could have killed me," He whispered, still feeling emotionally hurt about what happened.

"Jungkook has been amazing, though, also, thank you for sending me a basket of chocolates. I will thank Choi as well. It was a nice surprise."

"Your very welcome" She smiled, taking a sip of her drink before placing it back on the table.

"Did you talk to Andy about the apartment?" Taehyung questioned.

"Yes! I forgot to tell you, I had gone to the building and looked at a few ones they had open, and I ended up picking one, all of my stuff has been moved in, and tonight is the first night I will be staying there."

"That is amazing, Jiu, congrats."

Taehyung felt so happy for her. Getting that apartment was one of the best decisions he made.

"Thank you for even talking to me about it! It looks so amazing and expensive. I was shook when he showed me the price" She snickered.

"I was shook as well. I was like, is this for once a day" Taehyung laughed, placing his empty cup down.

"I love that we will be on the same level," Jiu said. She was grateful for all the help and advice Taehyung had given her, even though they were going through the same thing at the same speed.

"That is cool! are you moving in, just you and Rosie" Taehyung smirked when he watched her blush.

He had always known there was something between Jiu and Choi from when they all sat on the couch that day.

"We are actually dating. He is moving in with me," She whispered, laughing slightly when Taehyung gasped.

"What? since when?" He questioned.

"Last week, he confessed, and I have always had those feelings for him but just tried to push it back."

She looked so happy.

"Congratulations on you and Jungkook. By the way, we will have to all make dinner sometime" She smiled.

"Definitely! how does tonight sound? You and Choi can come over for dinner. Bring Rosie?" Taehyung suggested.

"That sounds amazing. Let's do that. What time?"

"Let's do 5:00 pm. We all finish around three, so we will all have time to get our kids" He chuckled, brushing his hand through his hair.

"I can't wait", She squealed, clapping her hands in excitement.

"Hey, babe, ready to get Ara?" He heard Jungkook call from behind him.

He smiled at the voice and shut his locker, turning around to see Jungkook leaning against the locker next to his own.

"Very ready", Taehyung hummed.

"Have you seen Jimin or Yoongi today? I did not get to see them?" The brunette pouted slightly, looking at his boyfriend, who smiled.

"Yeah, they had to stay home cause Yoongi was not feeling well, so Jimin is looking after him", Jungkook stated, brushing hair out the smaller's face.

"Oh, that is good to hear."

"Oh, by the way. Jiu and Choi have moved into the same floor we are on!" Taehyung laced his fingers with the basketball players as they walked towards the raven's car.

"That is great! Are they dating?" He questioned; Taehyung hummed as he slid into the passenger seat.

"Wow, they are basically like us", Jungkook chuckled, starting the car as he looked behind him to ensure no vehicles were coming his way.

"They spent their first night there tonight, so I invited them to dinner at ours. I hope that is okay. I should have asked since it is your space as well."

The raven smiled, shaking his head slightly as his eyes were trained on the road.

"Next time, yeah, let me know. But I don't mind. It would be nice to have dinner with them. Also, I think it could be cool if Rosie and Ara get close when they grow."

Taehyung smiled. That was one thing he loved about Jungkook. It is how understanding he is.

After picking Ara up and stepping into the apartment, Taehyung quickly bathed her while Jungkook started to cook some food for dinner. When both males walked into the daycare to pick Ara up, they bumped into Brianna when they were in the office.

She was holding Ara, who was asleep in her arms. They were pleased to hear she had a better day. Taehyung dried Ara before putting a warm onesie on her. Lifting the tiny baby in his arms as he pecked her forehead and walked towards the lounge.

"There is my girl", Jungkook gasped, a smile wide on his face as Ara's eyes were on him.

"What is Dada doing" Taehyung whispered to Ara, loud enough for Jungkook to hear.

The raven felt his heart fill with pride when he heard those words come from Taehyung's mouth. It meant a lot to him that Taehyung saw him as another parent to Ara.

"What have you decided to make?" The brunette hummed, looking at the many pots and pans around the kitchen.

"Honestly, everything", Jungkook chuckled.

"I cooked a whole bunch of different meat and got some noodles and spring rolls, dumplings and roast potatoes."

"Whatever you feel like eating, you grab" Jungkook flipped the chicken over in the pan.

"Sounds and smells yummy."

"Cute", He heard Jungkook mutter under his breath.

A loud knock was heard. Taehyung looked at the time to see it was already 5 pm. He walked towards the door with Ara in his arms, who was wide awake.

He opened the door and smiled when he saw Jiu, Choi and Rosie.

"Hey, come in, come in. It is so cold outside," Taehyung whispered, stepping back to let them all in.

"Thank you for having us," Choi said, smiling at the brunette who smiled back.

"Jungkook is in the kitchen, just over there. Dinner should be ready soon," He stated, pointing towards the kitchen area.

"I will go say hi," Choi said, pecking Jiu's cheek before walking towards the kitchen.

"He seems nervous?"

"I think he is a little. He will be fine" Jiu brushed it off as they both sat down on the couch.

"Your place looks similar to ours. It is gorgeous in here. It's nice and warm as well," She whispered, looking around the room.

"I love it here."

"How do you feel about your first night here?"

"Nervous but also excited, Choi and I have always wanted to live together. We used to talk about it all the time. It is nice we finally get to live our dream but together" She smiled.

"Do you see Choi as another parent to Rosie?" He questioned, letting out a smile when she nodded.

"Definitely, he is such an amazing dad. He takes care of her as if she were his own, and sometimes I forget that he is not her biological dad. He is protective of her and cares for her."

"I did not ask him to help me or be there for her. He just did it. Is that the same with you and Jungkook?" She questioned.

"Yes, he has been amazing with Ara and with me. When he found out I was a father and had to take Ara into my care, he did not think twice and was there for me from the get-go. He and Choi seem to be very similar when it comes to that" Taehyung smiled, looking down at Ara, who was looking at Rosie.

"Dinner is ready!" Jungkook shouted from the kitchen. Taehyung turned his head to see Choi and Jungkook were taking the food to the dining table, which was very close to the lounge.

"Do you have a spare baby mat? that I can put Rosie on?" Jiu questioned, watching as Taehyung pulled the bottom of the couch to extend it.

"You can put her on the one I have put Ara on; it is quite big and safe. They won't fall off" Taehyung smiled as he placed Ara onto the mat, watching her kick her feet around a little.

Rosie was soon placed next to her, both of the girls yawning.

The brunette moved one of the couches slightly so they could all see the two girls from where they were eating.

They both put a kid's TV show on and then walked to the table Jungkook and Choi were sitting at, talking away. They sat next to their significant others as they all started eating.

"Looks great, babe", Taehyung whispered, loud enough for Jungkook to hear, who smiled.

"How is your training coming along, Jungkook? the game is this week!" Jiu questioned, placing food onto her plate as the raven smiled.

"Yeah, training is great. We have two more training until the game. How has your training been going?" Jungkook asked Choi, who shook his head.

"I dropped out a few weeks ago, It was not for me, and I only joined cause Jake did", He muttered.

"How did Jake take you leaving?" Taehyung questioned, placing some noodles into his mouth, and Choi shook his head.

"Not the greatest, but I am my own person, and I should be able to do things I want to do, not what my best friend wants me to do", Choi stated.

"Have you spoken much to him? does he know about Rosie?" Jungkook questioned.

"I have not told him, but I heard rumours, so I think he may know. I have not heard from him in ages" He shrugged, continuing to eat.

"What are your guy's plans after graduation?" Jiu asked the two of them.

"I have not really thought about it, to be honest."
