Jungkook raced to grab his car keys. As soon as he got the call that Taehyung was in the hospital, he ran towards his car— wanting to get there as quickly as possible.

He did not bother to ask why his best friend was in the hospital. He decided he would find out when he got there. It has been a while since he and Taehyung last talked.

It has been hell, to say the least. He misses the male a lot. He was not sure if the brunette regretted what happened that night.

He was not sure as to why they were avoiding each other. Once he parked his car, he raced up towards the hospital.

He went straight to a nurse that was sorting out a few documents behind the counter.

"Hi, I got a call saying Kim Taehyung is in the hospital?" Jungkook questioned.

"Oh yes, go to Room B, just down the hall to the left" She smiled. Jungkook nodded, running down the hallway until he was in front of room B.

He pushed opened the door and looked around the room until his eyes laid upon Taehyung, who was sitting on the couch, eyes red, while a newborn was in his arms.

"Hey", The brunette whispered when he met Jungkook's eyes.

"Are you okay?"

"I got a call saying you were in the hospital, and I came here as soon as I could", Jungkook whispered, walking towards the male and crouching down to his level.

"What happened, Tae" He whispered, causing the brunette to let out more tears.

"This is my daughter."Jungkook's eyes widened in shock, and his lips parted as he looked down at the little girl who was fast asleep and so small.

"W-what? How?" the basketball player replied, feeling shocked. "Eun was pregnant. That was why Boram, Benjamin and Eun all hated me. It's not m-my fault, ggukie. When we had sex, I wore a condom, and she told me she was on this pill" Taehyung choked up as he spilled out everything.

"The nurse and I think she lied about being on it so she can get money from it since she does not want it, and I am the reason she kept it."

"How much do you owe?"

"10,000", Taehyung whispered."That fucking bitch", Jungkook cursed, eyes shut as he sighed.

"You are a dad", The raven whispered.

"I k-know, and I am s-scared", The brunette stuttered, body slowly rocking back and forward until he felt the seat next to him dip a little and those warm, strong, protective arms he missed wrapped around him.

"You are not alone. Tae, you got me", Jungkook whispered, holding the male in his arms. He let out a small smile when he felt his best friend's head against his chest.

"Would you like to hold her?" He heard the male whisper. "I would love to", Jungkook replied, unwrapping his arms from Taehyung.

The raven felt his heartbeat through his chest when the little girl was placed in his arms.

"She already looks so much like you", He whispered as they both looked at her.

"What is her name?".

"Ara", Taehyung whispered, smiling when Jungkook turned to look at him. The brunette nodded, letting out a few little chuckles at his reaction.

"Mum is going to be over the moon", Jungkook whispered.

"Are you staying overnight?" The basketball player questioned, eyes turned back to the baby in his arms.

"Yeah, I am. They wanna run a few more tests on her to make sure she is okay before I take her out of the hospital".

"I will stay here with you", Jungkook commented, eyes never leaving Ara, who was fast asleep.

"You don't have to, Ggukkie", Taehyung replied, hand placed on the male's arm, who smiled.

"You aren't going through this alone, you got me," Jungkook whispered, turning his head to peck the male's forehead before his eyes returned to the baby.

Taehyung spent the rest of the afternoon sorting documents, going through papers, and talking to the nurses.

He was glad they were allowed to stay at the hospital overnight. Taehyung was unsure of where he would stay and how his parents would take the news.

Jungkook wanted to stay with Taehyung overnight but could not as only one person was allowed in one room.

Ever since Covid-19 happened, a lot of rules and regulations have changed. So instead of Jungkook going home, he booked a hotel room across from the hospital.

Make sure he is near if anything were to happen. The raven sat in bed the whole night thinking about what were they meant to do now. His best friend is now a father.

They still have not talked about them making out. How is Taehyung going to finish his last year of college.It is their last year this year which is super exciting.

Jungkook would feel devastated if Taehyung had to pull out. But he wants the best for Ara. If anything, Jungkook felt angry at Eun. How could she do this to Taehyung but also a child, a baby.

Jungkook knows that he will have Taehyung's back, no matter what, even if that means losing friends in the process.
