This week had been an emotional week for Taehyung. He has not gotten much sleep, and he has been feeling down.

No one has been talking to him. He has been making sure he takes as many hours as he can at work.

He spent many days crying in his spare time, feeling like he was truly alone in this world. He went to classes and, at lunchtime, hid in the library.

He did not talk to anyone– he stuck to himself. Many rumours about him were spreading, about how he got rejected by a girl and then a guy.

The words got worse, and people started to think he was trying to get Eun back. He nearly murdered someone when he heard that rumour as he would rather live with twenty dogs than date Eun again.

It was getting dark, and he had just finished his shift when he felt his phone vibrate. With a puzzled look, he grabbed his phone and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hi, is this Kim Taehyung?" A women's voice came through the phone.

"Uhm, yes, it is. Who is this?" Taehyung questioned, walking out of the cafe after locking the door.

"Hi, I am nurse Ria, We have a friend of yours who is in emergency care, and they have requested you. Could you pop into the hospital?" She questioned, voice calm.

"Oh! Yeah, of course. What hospital?" Taehyung questioned.

Taehyung rushed inside the building and quickly stopped at the front desk. "Hi, how may I help you?" A woman questioned.

"I got a call from a woman who said I have someone in the emergency room that requested to see me?" Taehyung said, nearly out of breath as he placed a hand on his heart.

"Oh yes, Linda, I got this one, " a nurse said, giving him a warm smile as he followed him down the hall.

"I know this may be a huge shock to you", The nurse whispered as they stopped at the door.

"Whatever happens, please don't yell as patients are trying to sleep," The nurse said, pushing the door open for Taehyung to enter.

The brunette felt so confused as he stepped into the room. He turned to look at the person on the bed to see Eun lying there staring at him.

"Eun? oh my— are you okay?" The brunette asked in a rush as he stepped closer to the bed. She was sweaty and looked tired. She chuckled, looking at him.

"Do you see that baby in that crib there?" She asked coldly, pointing to a crib by the wall.

"Yeah?" He replied, confused.

"Well, that is your baby."

"Excuse me?" Taehyung questioned, "This is not funny, Eun".

"Do you think I wanna pull a prank now?"

"B-but we only had sex like twice", Taehyung stuttered, looking at her in shock.

"I wore a condom, and you said you were on the pill", The brunette stated, not tearing his gaze from her for a second.

"Things break, Taehyung. You should be thankful I did not abort that little thing," She said, glaring at the baby in the crib.

"You were going to abort it? Why did you not tell me sooner that you were pregnant? we could have gotten through this?" Taehyung whispered— still in complete shock.

"I don't want a baby, especially when you are the father of it. I love Benjamin, and he is the only person I need in life," She said proudly.

"Does he know?". She nodded, causing Taehyung to chuckle.

"Is that why I got a beating from him?" he questioned.

"Am I even the father?"

"You are a fucking idiot. We will put it up for adoption if you don't want it. Get the doctor to run a DNA test," She said, rolling her eyes. Just as she said this, a nurse walked in with a soft smile.

"Hi, I am nurse Ria. Is there anything I could grab for you both?" She questioned.

"I was hoping to get a DNA test to see if the baby is mine?" Taehyung whispered. She nodded her head fast.

"I will get a doctor for you, and we can sort all that out. I will be back," She whispered before leaving the room.

"So what happens now?" Taehyung questioned— hands placed by his side as his foot tapped against the floor.

"You have to enjoy the life of parenthood while I get to enjoy the rest of my life with Benjamin," She said, smiling sitting up from the bed when the door opened.

Taehyung turned around in shock from her words and felt his heart drop slightly when he saw Benjamin standing there.

He looked pissed. His eyes followed the woman behind him, who looked like a lawyer.

"You owe us 10,000 dollars," Benjamin said, wrapping an arm around Eun's waist as they stood together.

"Excuse me?" Taehyung replied, looking at all three of them, who smirked.

"You got your ex-partner pregnant. She did not want to keep it, but since you did not take care of her or help her with anything, you will legally be fined and will have to pay them."

"That's fucking bull-shit that is not a law", Taehyung answered back, thoroughly annoyed and in shock. He just found out he is a father, only to find out he owes people money.

"Here is the slip. You have three months to pay up, or we will be taking you to court," The lawyer said, handing him an envelope.

"Have fun looking after that little shit. Let's go, babe," She said, smirking at Taehyung before leaving. The brunette felt his heart drop. He started panicking.

He is now a father. He still has to graduate from college, and he has a job. His parents are going to be pissed. He has no one to talk to about this. People are going to hate him.

"We are ready", The nurse came in and said. Taehyung gulped, nodding fast.
