A week had passed, and Taehyung was still feeling down. He still felt sad. He has been avoiding Eun as if she would cause him an allergic reaction. He made sure to focus on school and work, and he received many messages from Jungkook throughout the day. Making sure he was okay. He found it really sweet.

After staying over at Jungkook's again, he went back home. He had not heard from his parents in a while and thought he should go back home to check on them. When he got home and greeted his parents, they let out a small smile before returning to what they were doing.

"Sorry I have not messaged you. I was at Jungkook's" was the first thing Taehyung said, gripping the black straps of his school bag. "Oh, you were gone?" The mother replied, looking at her magazine.

Taehyung sighed, turned around and walked toward his room. He flung his bag on the ground and walked towards his bed. Jumping on his bed as he let out a sigh. Pulling out his phone and scrolled through Instagram, wanting to go through his recent posts.

Taehyung chuckled at all the comments, smiling at every single one of them. Even Jungkook's one that was so him that when Taehyung read it he could hear Jungkook's voice. The brunette-haired male opened his messages with the basketball player.

Taehyung chucked his phone to the other end of his bed, letting out one last sigh before checking the time. With a slight groan, he sat up and quickly had a shower, ready to head to the cafe for his shift.

After he finished his shower and walked out of the house, his eyes gleamed with excitement. The cafe was not far from his home, so he plugged his AirPods in and hummed towards the Coffee club.

Opening the door to the cafe, he smiled when he noticed there were not heaps of people there. Only a few customers were sitting at tables eating or drinking- while scrolling through their phones or typing away on their laptops.

"Hey, Tae!" He heard Jin say who was behind the counter. "Hey, sorry, I am like 10 minutes early", Taehyung chuckled, pushing the mini door forward and walking towards Jin, who shook his head.

"Don't even worry about that. You can start now anyway. Students should be walking in soon," Jin replied, fist in the air as he knows that is Taehyung's favourite hour.

"Yay," The brunette-haired male pouted, limpy fist in the air as he rolled his eyes.

Jin chuckled and walked to the back, ready to take his break. Taehyung wiped down some of the tables and asked people if everything was okay and if they would like to order anything else.

After sorting a few more people out, he heard loud voices come through the cafe. His eyes were too focused on the tablet to check who had walked through the door.

"Aye! Taehyung!" Ryan called out, causing Taehyung to shoot his head up fast. Feeling his heart drop a bit when he realised all the people with Ryan. The basketball team, all of them, including Jungkook, who waved at him like crazy men.

"How are you," He asked as Ryan stood in front of him. "Great. Can I have the chicken soup with garlic bread, please" Ryan sighed, fingers underneath his chin as he looked up at the menu, scanning the list until he gasped.

"A strawberry shake would be a bomb," He said

"Large?" Taehyung questioned and started putting that all into the tablet as Ryan nodded. "That would be 15 dollars."

Ryan nodded, pressed his card against the payment terminal and walked off the find a table. "Hey, Tae!" Jungkook said, smiling as he stepped forward.

"Let me guess the usual?" Taehyung asked. "You know it" Jungkook winked. "Go sit your ass down."

"Tae, you can't keep letting me not pay for food here", The basketball player whispered, feeling bad.

"Go sit down", Taehyung replied, giving the male a soft smile who let out a small 'thank you' before walking to his other friends who ordered beforehand. Taehyung felt his heart drop when Eun and Boram stepped into the cafe.

"Typical", Taehyung muttered under his breath.

"Can I have my usual, please?" Eun said as if nothing had happened. Biting his lower lip as he heard her talk, typing in her order and looking up at her.

"There is a promotion this week for heartbreakers; they get 3% off their order", Taehyung commented coldly.

Jungkook chuckled at what Taehyung said, his eyes following the male who looked pissed off. Eun's lips were parted as she handed him the money in shock. She was speechless. "Enjoy your order".

The brunette head watched her walk over to Jungkook and his friends. He felt terrible, but then he also did not. He still felt hurt.

How could he not? The pain was a lot, especially whenever he saw her walking through the packed hallways of campus.

When he shared classes with her, it all hurt. Memories constantly flashed through his mind, all the good moments they had. It made him feel sad, of course. Now he felt like all he had left was Jungkook and his friends.

He grabbed a few of the orders and walked over to the table with that thought.

"Thanks, Taehyung!" Ryan shouted excitedly as he dug into the food quickly.

"Tae, I did not order the carrot cake?" Jungkook said, pointing to his order with an extra mini carrot cake next to it. "It's on the house", He replied, smiling softly as he walked back behind the counter.

Taehyung always felt like he never showed his appreciation to Jungkook, even though he often did as the basketball player always told him.

Jungkook is the only person that has never left him. "What would I do without you, Ggukie" Taehyung whispered, staring at him as he talked and laughed with his teammates.

His gaze was intense and filled with emotion until he looked away.

"You can go on your break now, Tae", Jin called out.
