Few days after his discharge,

Virat was pacing around his room lost in thoughts. Sunny being the scholar from Love school was worried seeing his friend run a marathon inside the confines of the room. Sunny was now worried about his friend, who was talking to himself and smiling. Did the injury impact his head?

Meningites?

Encephalitis?

Did he contract any of these infection during the surgery?

"Bhai.... Are you alright?" Sunny asked worriedly as he stood before Virat.

"Me? Am alright." Virat replied in confusion.

"Are you feeling dizzy? Nausea? Vision issues?" Sunny asked.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Virat asked in frustration.

"Did you injure your head during the mission?!" Sunny enquired

"Nahi tohhhh" virat defended.

"Then why the hell are you talking with yourself and giggling? Have you finally gone mad or what?!" Sunny chided.

"Nahi yaar! Am just thinking...."

'Thinking about what?" Sunny asked.

"Planning to propose to Sai" Virat said shyly as he sat on the couch.

"Waah bhai!" Sunny applauded and the red hue which were on Virat's cheek grew redder as he looked down biting his cheeks to control the blush.

"I can't believe you are blushing like a new bride! Bhai, she should be the one who should be blushing and shy! Not you." Sunny chided playfully.

"It is all about feeling the emotions yaar. Me blushing or she being shy doesn't matter" Virat chided Sunny for his slightly stereotypical thinking.

"Okay okay! I surrender Mr. Majnu" Sunny raised his hand.

"Now give me some Idea for proposal na..... I want it to be the best." Virat said dreamily.

"Take her for a dinner date. Simple, Easy and girls will swoon away for a perfect dinner date" Sunny said proudly.

"Dinner date in gadchiroli? Pagal ho kya?" Virat retorted.

"Haan..... She is from Gadchiroli na. This would be perfect." Sunny argued again.

"Kaise bhai?" Virat asked in confusion.

"See.... If you propose in gadchiroli means, it means you respect her place, you love her native...." Sunny tried to explain. Virat nodded dumbly.

Picking up his phone, he messaged Sai.

V: Hi

S:Hi

V: How are you?

S: Are you okay? We just met in morning.

V: Am good. Just wanted to be courteous.

S:🧐🧐

V: So.... Dinner?

S: Roti and aloo masala.

V: What?!

S: That is the dinner menu in our house.

V: Sai, no! Can we go for dinner tonight?

S: Why outside? You come to our home..... We will have dinner together.😁

V: Sai no.....

S: Kyun Nahi?!

V: Just... Trust me na! We will have dinner outside. Just us two.

S: Aaba? He might not like na....

V: Can you manage something? I will convince him soon.

S: Convince kyun?🧐

V: I will explain everything na.... Are you in?

S: In?

V: I mean... Can we go for dinner tonight?

S: Haan okay.

V: I will message you the location, or better I will pick you up directly from hospital.

S: At least give me some time to change na......

V: We will get late.

S: Am so confused right now.

V: Will explain everything later....

S: Okay.....

V: Bye!😘😘

S: 😳

V: *Bye!😄

Later that evening,

Sai was standing outside her hospital when a Jeep stopped before her.

"Hi!" Virat greeted excitedly.

"Hi....." She said tiredly and sat beside him. He was in his casual wear wearing a Shirt and jean.

"What did you say to Kamal sir?" Virat asked nervously

"I told him that hospital friends are going for dinner.... Am going with them." She said casually.

"Did he believe?"

"Of course!" Sai answered, narrowing her eyes.

He felt suffocated with silence and decided to initiate a good romantic conversation but ended up asking,

"How is Leo?"

"He is good. I know you would love him! He is such a Charmer." She added making Virat cringe.

The conversation ended.

An hour later,

He stopped the vehicle at the familiar cliff. He turned beside to see Sai dozing on the window sill with her mouth wide open. He had no heart to wake her. She looked angelic and absolutely innocent while sleeping. Complete contrast to the person when she is awake.

"Sai....." He shook her shoulders only for her wake up with jolt almost hitting Virat.

"Where are we.....?" She asked sleepily.

"Surprise..... Open your eyes" he cooed softly. With a sigh, she softly opened her eyes. He signalled her to open the door and come outside. He stood behind her and closed her eyes gently.

"Virat sir... Wuh?" She was cut when she heard Virat's warm breaths on her ear. She turned to an interesting shade of red when she realised the proximity between them.

"Shh! Surprise for you Sai...." He led her. Upon reaching a particular spot, he took his hands away. Sai blinked a bit and looked only for her to gasp in surprise, almost stumbling on Virat in excitement

"Didn't you always wanted to see Sunrise and Sunset but couldn't do it due to your schedule and laziness..... So here you go!" He whispered softly.

She looked dazed, starry eyed and smitten. The hazel of her eyes turned an interesting and the most beautiful shade of Amber as the streaks of falling sun rays mirrored in her eyes. The cold breeze and the chirping of the last birds on their way to home bought a strange sense of peace and tranquility to his heart. The dark clouds which accompanied their travel accentuated the beauty of the nature at least by ten folds. He saw her clapping her hands in excitement as her smile widened to a huge grin. He could feel himself getting breathless as she looked at him with all the love.

Those damn hazels! One should be banned from seeing it!

"You remember?" She asked softly, her eyes were glazed. He smiled as he bent forward to tuck her hair.

"Have I forgotten anything that is related to you?" He asked softly. Overwhelmed with feelings and euphoria she hugged him tight making him shiver. Physical proximity initiated by Sai was very rare, almost nonexistent....

Barring the slap though!

She might have hugged him, twice.... One slap. That's it. Hand holding, tucking her hair was all from Virat's side.

But when she does, there is nothing more magical than this. He smiled at her excited jitter.

How can one cannot fall for her? Her naivety, excitement and those damned hazels of her eyes? How can one even resist?

Just when he was about to wound his arms around, she pulled back much to his disappointment.

But what she did next was absolutely unexpected. She looped her hands around his neck and bent him down. Before he could comprehend what is coming next. She placed a slight peck on his stubbled cheeks. It was merely for a second, but the memory of her lips on his cheeks was lifetime. A beautiful memory, he could never forget. Virat could feel himself getting dizzy due to shock and sat on the grass bed. Proposal was long forgotten as his eyes roamed around for any hospital, as he felt himself getting light headed with her kiss. He felt like he is gonna pass out.

She kissed!!!!!
