"Good night Sai" he wished and walked to the room, when she called him.

"Virat sir..."

"Hmm?

" thank you..... For everything!"

Virat smiled and shook his head and walked inside the room for a peaceful and content night's sleep.

A week later,

Virat called Sai.

"Hello?"

"Haan Virat Sir! How're you?"

"Am good! Um... Sai.... I need ur help with something...."

"Haan... Boliye"

"Um... Well...."

"Kya hua Virat sir? Everything alright?"

"Yes yes! The thing is.... Its been days since I came here.... Will you... Um.... Will you take me out somewhere? Any nice place? I wanna know Gadchiroli.... So... Can you...?"

There was silence at the other end.

"Am sorry if you're uncomfortable.... Don't worry" Virat said feeling guilty for making things awkward.

"Um... No... It was just... I am surprised... I'll see what I can do Virat sir! Will msg you" Sai said trying to comfort him

"Thank you sai!!!!!" He said, smilingly.

A week later.

Virat's phone pinged with message.

S: Virat sir.... I've found this amazing place in mountains. Are you ready for trekking..... Tomorrow?

Who was he kidding. He was ready to go anywhere with her.

V:sure Sai!!!! Am ready!!

S: Okay then... Be ready at 5. And yea.... Fill petrol in ur vehicle... We've to drive for an hour.

V: Done!!

S: Okay. Be ready sharp at 5.

V: Done!

S: Good night Virat sir!

V: Good night Sai!

Virat jumped on his bed screaming with excitement. A day out with his Sai.....!!!! He tried to relax himself and sleep, little did he know.

Next day,

Virat was locking the door when he heard a voice.

"Virat sir!!!" The pleasant voice exclaimed.

"Haan Sai!! Good morning!"

"Good morning Sir!! Ready?"

"Yes!!"

Virat and Sai kept their bags backside. Sai sat on the driver's seat.

"Wow... You know how to drive?"

"Yes!! Am a pretty good driver. Don't worry" sai said smilingly.

"So where are we going?"

"I saw a beautiful place near the mountains.... So we're gonna trek to there."

"But we have our vehicle na?"

"Haan.... But I don't know how to drive in slopes... That's why I suggested trek" she said a bit guilty!

He held her hand gently, she was surprised and looked at with her large doe eyes.

"Don't worry... I'll drive there!"

"Okay then!!" Sai smiled.

They started their journey

*by the way.... What did you tell Kamal Sir?"

"I said... Am going out with a friend"

He looks at her bewildered.

"What?"

"So... We're friends now?"

"Of course! I've shared on my lowest moments with you... Shared my pain with you..... I wouldn't have shared if you're some third person!!"

Virat did.a mental dance realising the fact he's her friend now. A good progression Viru!! He mentally cheered for himself.

"Have you ever gone trekking before?"

"Haan once.... With Ani!"

"Khet'

" huh?"

"No nothin!! You tell."

"Me Ani, Nithya, eric.... We were a huge gang! After final exams... We decide to go somewhere... Together, like one last time. Ani decided planned the trek... Entirely. It was more of an impromptu plan.... But most magical moments of life." She said happily.

"Wow... That's so beautiful!" Virat replied.... Sarcastically.

"I know!!! So magical"

An hour later,

Virat almost slept resting his head on the window

"Virat sir...."

"Ummmmm" he groaned in sleep. Sai chuckled.

"Virat sir?!!!!"

Virat woke up with a jolt to find her so close to him. Sai too didn't expect this. She gulped and moved back to her place.

"Woh....I bought the token.... Can... You... Um...'

" yes... I'll shift there."

They both shifted places and continued to drive.

He saw Sai a bit nervous. She fisted her palms tightly muttering something again and again.

"Are you scared of Heights, Sai?"

"Partly.... Am scared of vehicles driving on mountains. Look how steep the valley is.... What'll happen if we fall down?"

Virat chuckled aloud.

" don't worry Sai.... Nothing like that will happen. Have confidence in my driving!"

Sai smiled a bit and they continued their journey.

Few hairpin bends, nervous moments later.

"Virat sir... Vehicle can't go behind this spot. We've to trek to that waterfall" explained Sai after they got down from the car.

"Lead the way doctor Sahiba!"

"Thank you for brining me here Sai.... It's so beautiful!" Thanked Virat. Sai smiled.

"Virat sir.... This might be a bit slippery.... Be careful"

Sai jumped on the stones and reached the other side. Virat tried to mimic her not heeding to her words..... And he had to pay the price..... He fell on the river.

It wasn't a smooth landing. He groaned aloud halting her giggles. She gave her hand. He grasped it tightly and woke up.

"Told you na!!! Don't mimic me.... Walk slowly... What's the need to jump?" She said holding her stomach and giggling loudly.

He dusted himself and stood properly.

"You look beautiful when you smile." Said Virat much to the surprise of Sai. She blushed a bit and cleared her throat awkwardly.

"Um... Let's keep moving!!! Come come"

After a few more minutes of walk they finally reached a stream.

Sound of rushing water soothed his mind. He felt peace.....

Sai sat down wetting her legs in the water.

"Sit Sir!" She signalled Virat to sit beside her. Virat was a bit sceptical but sat beside her anyway.

"Damn!!! We missed it" she exclaimed looking at her watch. Virat was confused.

"Um... What did we miss Sai?" He asked alarmingly seeing at her sad face.

"Sunrise...." I thought we were early enough.... Damn!!!! We missed it" she said sadly.

"Its okay Sai... You bought me to this beautiful place...... I've never seen places like this in Nagpur..... Thank you for brining me here!" Virat tried to comfort her.

"You know something....?" Sai asked.

"Hmm?"

"I've never seen both sunrise and sunset.... Even though am born amd brought up here. It'd always been my dream to watch sunrise.... Alas!" She said sadly.

"Hey.... Another day yaar! Neither you nor sun's gonna run away anywhere. So don't worry!" Virat tried to comfort her.

They sat there for some more time and started moving.

Back, at Car.

"Am sorry virat sir!"

"Why Sai?" He asked surprisingly.

"We couldn't see the sunrise, this trip was an utter waste of time. Sorry for bringing you to this lame trip!"

"Sai.... This is one of the most magical moments of my life. I loved this trip a lot.... Because of you! You made this trip so beautiful. I've to thank you for that.... And why are you even feeling sorry Sai?" Virat comforted her.

Sai smiled at his efforts and muttered a thank you.

"By the way Sai... Didn't kamal sir enquire you about.... This friend" he Asked showing himself.

"No. I told am going to trek with my friend.... He just muttered an okay. That's all.... And Virat Sir, I've lived alone... I've guy friends... And Aaba isn't a control freak! He trusts me... And I make sure that trust doesn't break!" Sai explained smiling at his bewildered look.

Virat smiled at her response.
