A week has passed in Vampdom. Queen Branch has been very busy with her Queen during the week but, tonight she can relax. Poppy has been improving more in his training too. The Queen and the Spy hadn't seen each other since Branch dropped Poppy off the shelter after charity dance.

At Midnight Delights there are lots of customers and the place is lively. The music fills the whole restaurant. Branch sits at the bar with her closest friends as one of them is working at the very same bar. They had convinced her to go out and took her here. Branch honestly didn't care where she was as long as she can relax. Her brain honestly feels like it has been overworking.

" Have anything in mind?",On asks.

On has giving her friends a few mocktail menus along with cocktail menus. On's wings are flapping slowly keeping her off the ground by a few feet. She smiles at her friends innocently.

"My usual. ", Dawn says blankly.

" How about a good Vanilla Iced tea?",Glimmer says happily.

" I feel like drinking something slushy. A Slush Puppy with extra Slush please. ",Nightstorm says honestly and happily.

" Maybe a Carrot Chill with some critter blood?",Molly says thinking out loud.

" A shooter of strong and thick blood! ", Cheryl says confident

" Got anything with chocolate? ",Josjos asks happily and curious.

" Chocolate? Sounds good. What mocktails have chocolate?",Lee says curious and intrigued.

Branch doesn't answer as she leans the side of her face into her hand still looking at many options on the Mocktail menu. She doesn't really feel like making a choice. On thinks for a quick moment happily and clearly. There isn't a lot of drinks with chocolate. A smile appears on the Barmaid's face as she remembers a certain mocktail.

" Well Mocha Slush comes to mind. It has chocolate and chocolate syrup. ", On says cheerful and honestly.

" I'll take one. ",Josjos says cheerful.

" I'll give it a try. ",Lee says happily.

On nods her head then starts making the drinks. Dawn notices that Branch is just staring at a menu. The Queen slowly puts down the menu without a decision made. The blue vampire sighs quietly to herself as she removes her face from her hand.

" Are you okay,Branch? ",Dawn asks concerned.

" I'm fine... I just need something strong. ",Branch says feeling worn out and honestly.

Dawn isn't fully sure if Branch is truly fine. Lots of people say they are fine when their not. The female vampire let's it go guessing the Queen is just a little worn out from her Queen duties. On puts Dawn's usual,frizzy cool drink with blood,which is in a tall and thin glass in front of her.

Poppy walks through the open entrance of the restaurant happily as Savannah and Eddie walk ahead of him. The pink turned vampire still has high energy level unlike Branch. He had a good week of personal progress. Then Poppy spots Branch and her friends sitting at the bar. A big smile spreads across his face in delight.

Back at the bar everyone who ordered a drink have got their order. On is making something with a kick for Branch. She had asked the barmaid to surprise her so On is making her friend a Turbo Tonic. The rest of the girls laugh at one of Josjos's jokes. Branch is the only one who doesn't laugh because, she is just listening to her friends as she waits for her drink.

" That's so LOL.", Nightstorm comments happily.

Lee wipes a tear of joy from her eye. Glimmer,Dawn and Molly slowly calm down still laughing. Josjos proudly and happily takes a sip of her Mocha Slush. Cheryl drinks down her shooter as On happily slips Branch's Turbo Tonic to her.

" It has espresso and a kick. ",On says honestly and happily.

Cheryl quickly finishes her shooter and puts the tiny glass back on the bar happily. The blood was good and she wants another shooter. On turns to Cheryl as she says something the barmaid had heard before.

" Hit me!",Cheryl says happily.

On smiles innocently at her friend then gives Cheryl a refill. Branch is just about to pick up her drink but, someone suddenly appearing from behind her accidentally gives her a scare! A pink hand suddenly pats her shoulder as an innocently,very cheerful and familiar male voices speaks behind her!

" Hi Branch!",Poppy's voice says innocently and very cheerful from behind her.

Branch puts an hand over her stopped hand as her top half turns fast to see who sneaked up behind her! Her eyes are big and wide filled with shock and fright! Poppy laughs softly a little finding her reaction funny and cute. His eyes sparkles under the light of the restaurant. Poppy has been hoping he would see her again soon.

After a minute Branch's heart slowly starts beating as her eyes go to normal size. The Queen's expression changed into annoyed and not amused. She glares at the pink male as she removes her hand from her chest. Her body is no more tension. Poppy smiles at her happily and innocently not feeling her glare and not caring about it. Branch turns her back to Poppy and picks up her drink.

" Thankyou Poppy for trying to scare me to death... ",Branch says sarcastic.

The Queen takes her first sip of her Turbo Tonic. There is a empty seat next to her left side. The spy happily sits next to her happy to see her again. Josjos, Lee, On,Cheryl, Dawn,Molly, Nightstorm and Glimmer look at each other sharing a confused look. Did Poppy really just sneak up on Branch and scared her? None of them saw this coming! A smile appears on Cheryl's face. Then they all turn their heads towards Branch and Poppy not saying a thing.

"Hi guys. Long time no see,Branch. So where have you and what have you been doing all week? It was almost like you were gone for a while. ",Poppy says happily and curious.

" None of ya business. ",Branch says bluntly.

Branch isn't in the mood for Poppy right now. She starts slowly drinking her whole Turbo Tonic unhappily. The male vampire starts poking at her to her talk. He wants to have conversation with her but, Branch's attitude stays strong.

" Don't be so up tight! Loosen up a little. Your week shouldn't be a secret. I'll tell you about my week if you tell me yours. ",Poppy says playfully.

" No thanks. I'm good. ", Branch says blankly.

The vampire ruler puts down the empty glass that once contained liquid. Poppy isn't going give up so easily. He gets an idea to encourage her to talk. A small smile appears on his face.

" Then I'll go first. There were two little children who run into me once outside the library the night after the dance. It was just an accident. They were cute and sweet. My training got a lot better than I thought it would. I also have been learning some other things from Savannah and Eddie. I think we might be close to being friends. ",Poppy says happily and honestly.

Branch rolls her as she hears Poppy start taking over the conversation. She listens to him not saying a thing. The Queen looks down at her empty glass then subtly gestures for a refill at On's direction. The barmaid quickly catches and takes the glass. Branch turns her head to Poppy with a blank expression. Poppy is oblivious to it because, he is so happy to be hanging out with her again.
