Learning to use vampire powers are harder than Poppy thought! And they are just doing the basics! Poppy is either putting too little or too much power. He has broken an window and killed a flower patch! He even accidentally almost made an hole in the solid and strong fence and almost took out Savannah and Eddie from an distance...

" Watch Where Your Aiming!",Eddie yells seriously and upset.

Eddie almost had close call. He is on his knees behind the bench using it as a shield! Savannah stands by the bench just looking for where Poppy threw the soccer ball. Poppy is standing at the back of the garden far from Eddie and Savannah.

He looks at his teachers shocked by his own strength! The pink vampire feels bad for accidentally throwing the ball at them while he got distracted for a second. His eyes had drifted off when he was aiming then the next thing he knew the ball was flying in the air at top speed! Poppy brings his one hand to the side of his mouth. His expression becomes very honest and sincere with some guilt.

"Sorry!", Poppy yells apologizing sincerely.

Then a frown appears on Poppy's face as he slowly brings his hand back down. Eddie sighs stressed looking down at his feet as he pinches the bridge of his nose. Savannah spots the ball up on the highest part of the roof stuck. The ball seems to be deflating. It must have an hole in it now.

She quickly turns into a bat then flies up towards it. Eddie steps away from his hiding place. This first lesson is not working for them. Eddie and Savannah never gave an turned vampire an first lesson of their training before but, they honestly thought it would go smoother. Eddie is starting to get an headache from how bad it is going! Does his dad goes through this every first lesson he does with the turned vampires?

" Poppy,Let's Just Take A Break!",Eddie yells to Poppy.

Poppy let's out an sad sigh. His positivity has ran out at the moment. Branch was right when she said that mastering powers are tricky and hard work before. She had given him more advice and warned him about his powers before. Being an Vampire Slayer Poppy had seen vampires use their powers with so much ease. It always looked like second nature for them to use their vampire powers. Training isn't as fun as Poppy hoped it would be.

The turned vampire starts slowly walking over to the other side of the garden with a frown on his face. Savannah flies down onto the bench with the broken ball held by her bat feet. Then her father steps into the garden looking around for damage. Usually there is some little or more damage during an training. Mr Honey notices the dead flower patch, the broken window,the mark on the fence,his son's state and Poppy's state.

Poppy sits down somewhere on the grass. He let's out a small and quiet sigh and starts playing with the grass. He just stares at the grass and frowns sadly as he plays with the grass. Savannah turns back into her normal form. Then Eddie and Savannah notices their father.

" Hey Dad...",Eddie and Savannah says softly and unhappily together.

Mr Honey frowns at hearing their tone. He has a feeling he knows what is wrong. Savannah scratches the back of her neck. Eddie just puts his hands in his pockets.

" So the lesson isn't going smoothly? ",Mr Honey asks knowingly.

Eddie and Savannah just share a look that told their father everything. Mr Honey let's out a small sigh then looks at Poppy. Poppy seemed to lack his confidence to him. And his children seem to be without much confident for this lesson too. The parent looks back at his children.

" Looks like your usual approach isn't working for him. If you are going to continue the lesson then maybe you should change it... ",Mr Honey advises honestly and softly.

Both Eddie and Savannah knew that he is right. Usually their dad would take over after he came but, they are not sure if walking away is the right thing to do now. They would just be giving up on Poppy and they don't like the sound of doing it to someone who is just struggling. The two siblings share another look while having a quick silent agreement. Mr Honey quickly catches on what they are doing. He smiles at his adult children.

" I'll talk to Poppy first while you two figure something out. I know you both will make it work. ",Mr Honey says happily and softly.

Mr Honey always believed in his children's abilities. Sometimes they just need to adapt in order to do an task. Eddie and Savannah smile at at him and nod their heads slightly. Then the older vampire walks slowly over to feeling down learner.

" Are you okay,Poppy? ",Mr Honey asks gently.

He gets the turned vampire's attention making Poppy look up. Poppy honestly isn't okay. Mr Honey already got his answer from the turned vampire's expression.

" Not really... ",Poppy admits honestly.

The older vampire sits down next to Poppy onto the grass. The hunter doesn't say a thing as Mr Honey does so. The two men look at each other.

" Do you want to talk about it? I might be able to give you some perspective. ",Mr Honey says comfortingly.

The student didn't have a problem with talking and expressing himself. Sometimes he did have trouble with it but,that is rare! Back in the village most trolls thought Poppy's life is problem free because; he always seemed happy, care free and pretty much great like he is sort of socially a Prince. He is known as the Prince of the Vampire Hunters to the trolls for several reasons. Only the trolls close to him knew that Poppy's life isn't as easy as it looks. Poppy does struggle despite what all the trolls think... He's a person like everyone else.

" Well,I didn't think this would be so hard. I keep on messing everything up and it's all basic things to do...",Poppy admits sadly and honestly.

Mr Honey understands what Poppy is going through. The pure blood vampire had seen many turned vampires struggle with their vampire powers. He has seen born vampires struggle with it too. It is natural for any kind of vampire to struggle with their powers when learning and training.

" There's nothing wrong with the fact that your struggling. Every single Turned struggles with this and so do the born vampires when they learn their powers. The first lessons are always basic but,never easy. As long as you keep on trying you'll get better but, it's going to take time,practise and patience. Poppy,I may not know a lot about you but; I'm sure you can do this and I know you have the right spirit for it inside you. So are you going to give it another try or give up?",Mr Honey says honestly, comforting and wise.

Mr Honey's Pep talk is inspirational and makes Poppy feel a lot better. He never gave up before so why give up now? Poppy is going to do it. He is going to try harder with his vampire powers training. A smile spreads across the student's face as Can Do spirit and confidence comes back.

" I'm gonna try again. ",Poppy says confidently.

After that Poppy did what he told Mr Honey. He did still make mistakes but, he kept working at it and didn't let it put him down. Eddie and Savannah's new approach works better for Poppy. Mr Honey stayed to help them out in anyway he could. By the end of the lesson Poppy had finally made some progress and is determined to master his vampire powers by one lesson at a time.
